We will spend eternity on the new earth not in heaven. The seat of God will be in the New Jerusalem which is part of the new creation on earth.

In verse 3, the words “and commanding" were added by translators.
Anyway, does this mean that in order to fit this description given by the Holy Ghost, the individual(s) had to forbid marriage plus command/teach to abstain from meats, no, it can be either/or or even both.
What do you make of EGW's writings & SDA teaching on the topic when compared with the testimony of the Holy Spirit as revealed to Paul? Notice the Spirit said that in the latter times people will come teaching these things who are possessed and deceived.
Even if you take “meats” in verse 3 to only refer to the clean foods of Lev 11 or the foods of Gen 1:29, there remains a conflict with what Ellen’s writings/SDA teaching say versus what the Holy Spirit said to Paul because Ellen's writings & SDA both teach that God spoke to her through visions concerning His will that man should abstain from all meats (both clean and unclean), yet the Spirit said that it is a doctrine of devils to teach that God is telling man to abstain from animal food: especially since he gave permission in Gen 9:3.
Quotes from Ellen White: “God is trying to lead us back, step by step, to His original design-that man should subsist upon the natural products of the earth. Among those who are waiting for the coming of the Lord meat eating will eventually be done away; flesh will cease to form a part of their diet. Per EGW, foods have something to do with being converted! I see no such thing in the scriptures, unless I am truly overlooking something?! I see scripture telling me that food has nothing to do with the kingdom of God as nothing earthly has anything to do with the heavenly:

GARDEN OF EDEN WAS NOT THE MOST HOLY PLACE. The Most Holy Place is the JUDGEMENT SEAT OF GOD, according to Book of Revelation. In the Book of Revelation, God the Father was seen sitting in the "HOLY PLACE" before He move to the "MOST HOLY PLACE". Therefore, all the places where the Father sits are not the Most Holy Place; It refers only to the "JUDGEMENT SEAT OF GOD".
The Father appeared before Moses; and Moses was commanded to remove his sandals, for the place he was standing was declared "holy".
Exodus 3:5- "And he said, draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."
In the Bible, The "JUDGEMENT SEAT OF GOD" were seen in two places: one in the "Tabernacle" Moses built (Exodus & Leviticus), and in the Sanctuary in Heaven (Daniel & Revelation).

Well, I say, you are wrong. The Sanctuary was built before it was built by Moses on earth. The Sanctuary was in Heaven and even now. Moses was told to build this earthly Sanctuary according to the PATTERN (Exodus 25:40; Hebrews 8:5) shown to him. Where is the ORIGINAL of which Mosses was given the pattern? It is in heaven, which existed before the creation of this earth.
The sanctuary was establish to deal with humanity sin problem regardless when it was 1rst here on earth. At Calvary the earthly sanctuary along with the earthly priesthood was done away with do to the fact it completed it's purpose.@@farwestgarohills3831

John doesn't see the sanctuary in Heaven when in vision; it is there; the sanctuary is the place

Read Daniel & Revelation, where it is clearly written that the Sanctuary is heaven.
The Most Holy Place your are talking about is the earthly model that Moses built after the pattern of Heavenly Sanctury, which was the shadow of the things to pass through the Messiah. At Messiah's death all the shadows are now passed. But the real one in Heaven is still there.
Even after around 70 years of Jesus death, John the Apostle saw the Sanctuary was opened in Heaven. He even saw Jesus entered into the Most Holy Place to intercede for us.
Then, how can you say that Most Holy Place is no more?

In heaven was possible to exist only Sabbatismos. Not Sabbat because there never existed days to exist the seventh day Sabbath.
The sabbatismos which existed in heaven was the eternally state of rest in obedience.
Lucifer ceased to rest in obedience and started to resist against God.
For this reason the heavenly Trio saw as necessary to create our world in seven days so that after Matthew 11:28 we will have a daily state of rest in obedience in Hebrews 4:9 called in original Greek sabbatismos, so that on the seventh day we will ENTER in Hebrews 4:10 in His REST of all His works(Genesis 2:1-3) resting AS HE RESTED of all His works(Gen 2:1-3).
Hebrews 4:10 RESTing AS HE RESTED of His woks means that on seventh day WE ALSO rest on Sabbath after never sinning in any day of the week.
The people of Joshua being arrived in the land of rest(Canaan) they was not able to ENTER(Hebr 4:3) in God’s REST(Genesis 2:1-3 Hebr 4:10) because of their daily disobedience(Hebr 4:6).

We know this vs 19 tells us that God will send "them" with a sign among "them" and who escapes, he would send "them" unto the nations of the Gentiles, so "they" in verse 17 cannot be talking about the whole world nor Gentile nations. Jesus literally said that the Sabbath was made for MAN, so we can safely conclude that the Sabbath did not exist in heaven or anywhere else in the universe before God created it: meaning that man is older than the Sabbath, and from the beginning, the Sabbath only pertained to mankind and this earth. Also, there are no scriptures that says that the law or the Ten Commandments are eternal. The scriptures say that the new moon (first day of each month) will be observed in the new earth, but we do not observe it now, so why push the observance of sabbath a legally binding upon all?
Question? Did God pick back up his work after the sabbath? It would seem that the "rest" of the sabbath is more than just a weekly abstaining from work as Hebrews 4 lets us know: God rested and never picked back up to work again, so it seems the sabbath rest is an eternal ceasing from your works and entering into the eternal rest that God gives through faith in Jesus alone!
These are just a few verses that let us know that the sabbath commandment as given to Israel (Exodus 20:8-11) would not be binding under the ministry of Jesus: Acts 21:18-25; Colossians 2:6-17; 2 Corinthians 3, Hebrews 7:12; Romans 14:4-6,13; Leviticus 23:1-4; Isaiah 1:13-14; Hosea 2:11.
These verses lets us know to what people did God reveal his sabbath and law to: Exodus 20:1; Exodus 31:13-17; Deuteronomy 4:2,9-14; Deuteronomy 5:1-22 (meaning the Ten Commandments was that "first covenant aka the letter aka the testimony" spoken of in the New Testament letters/books); Nehemiah 9:13-14; Psalm 147:19-20; Luke 4:16 (compare with Acts 21:18-25).
