Gonna tie this fly. I really liked how you attached the pine squirrel to the hook and flipped it over because it’s a jig I just tied a handful of jig flies with a zonkers on the opposite side :-) Do you have a written list of the materials shown in the video so I don’t have to write them down :-)?
Awesome! I don't actually write out a list of the materials because I believe most of them can be substituted. I'm trying to keep it as fluid as possible
Hey man! Awesome streamer! Really love all of your stuff so keep up the great work! Was wondering what kind of color variations you do for your black version? Anything that works particularly well? I am just getting into tying - so many options it is overwhelming at times! Take care! Jeremy
Thanks for the kind words! I just basically sub out the sculpin pine squirrel for black and do everything else the same. You can't really go wrong, hope that helps!
One more question I have a variety of similar dubs, micro UV polar chenniles, I assume it’s OK to substitute materials that are close in color, size, etc. ? LMK. Also wondering about using Kreelex for the under fur?
"preen" another word that fly tyers use all the fraking time not knowing the meaning of. We dont have bills or beaks, we cant and dont preen. Technically speaking one should say drag, press, pull, slide, manipulate, and a few others i'm too tired to think of right now...
Have a 500 dollar fly pole and a fancy fly reel. Probably have a thousand flys and all the latest greatest gear. Been fishing for 65 Years and have caught thousands of fish. Lately fly fishing just bores the hell out of me. Rather throw Rapalas and catch 10 pounders!
Sick tie! Im gonna spin some up for sure!! Thanks!!
You bet!

@@FlyingTies excellent! Im gonna try it out! Thanks again
What sizes are you tying these in to fish on a euro rig. Thanks, great pattern!
I usually tie them in a few sizes 10/12/14. Hope that helps!
I will make this with some tungsten so go with my krelex minnows.
Thanks and your making awesome videos keep it up man.
Sounds like a winning combo, thanks for watching!
@@FlyingTies well fished them today and picked up 3 today in Central Pennsylvania. I used red crystal flash for the red.
@@MarcTelesha super rad!

Those should be fine!
I bet this fly would look good with a tungsten cone head. Great video.
Oh for sure, I tie it on different hooks for different presentations. Thanks for watching
These streamers and particularly the Euro Streamers have greatly increased the amount of fish I catch.
Awesome
So it's not a new pattern, it's just a slump buster that you spun up on a jig hook?

My bad 🙄
