    I just discovered the same issue with my replacement o-ring. Parts store told me it was an exact match! Definitely way too fat to fit

    It’s wild mines leaking right where your bunny strap is holding it back. Literally right in between that seam. And I don’t want to do this hose assembly because I just literally replaced everything else

    Sorry I got lost. So does the 226 o-ring work? Or do I need the one from merchant?

      The 226 is still working. I never tried the one from Merchant, but it was thicker than the original and the 226.

      The larger O ring is for the upgraded "new style" hose assy by AC Delco. The new design, if you ever replace your lower hose assy will only work with the larger o ring. It comes with it installed. The older original style hose uses the small one.@@DownNDirty_OffRoad
