I just freeze dried about a bushel and a half of home grown mangoes that my cousin grew in south Florida. After I sliced them, I put on rubber gloves and squeezed the seeds to get the pulp. I put it through the blender, then freeze dried the pulp. I made a powder from it. Amazing! Great in yogurt or in smoothies…. Or on ice cream! No waste.
I would love to see this compared to freeze dried fruit that can be purchased. Yours looks so much better than the snack packs of freeze dried fruit that I have purchased.
All we did was push start and the machine does it all for us. When the machine said it was done, we took it out. Thank you 😊 we have other videos that show the start process.
What a fun experiment!! I've been going crazy with my freeze dryer as well! We have a bunch of raspberry plants and I haven't tried freeze drying them, so I'm glad you tried them! Can't wait to see what else you make with it! Have you named yours yet? We decided on Elsa for ours! Haha. Take care Morgan and Hubby!
Hard to believe that freeze drying the raspberries made them sour. Like you I love raspberries, but don't care for sour taste. Looks like he gets the freeze dried ones on your hunting trips lol
@@katiegrazier4091tbh I git a variety bucket of freeze dried fruit from Amazon, And my Raspberries were also Sour, I think it’s a raspberry thing, Everything else was very Delicious.
Very informative! Nicely done. 😊😊😊❤
Thank you so much! 😊

Wow looks so delicious thank you for sharing 👌👌👌👌
Thank you! 🤍
Where I am from we get a ton of Saskatoon berries. They are so good. This year is a "bumper crop" and we are picking as fast as we can!
Amazing! I have never heard of those and will have to look into them! Enjoy your bountiful crops 😊
If you put a little cinnamon on the apples first they are really good after the freeze dry to eat.
Wow that’s an awesome recommendation thank you!
Thanks for the video, but I would have liked to see how the times worked on the freezer dryer.

My husband is over the road truck driver and this is the snack he takes with him, his favorite FD fruit is strawberries and apples.
That’s such a great idea! Healthy and yummy! 😊
Save the raspberries for candy. Dip in chocolate.😊 they are sweet and sour.
Great idea!!

Yes, Sam will be getting the raspberries for sure!! I will have to do some research to figure out why that is, they are crazy sour!
It could be that your raspberries were sour to begin with? Did you eat any from your plants before you freeze dried them? Just a thought…
