    These coil overs are awesome. I have some on my LGT and they are fantastic. I bought mine from Cygnus and it seems they are the cheapest

    11:25 You really should run coil covers. It'll keep everything clean, and easy to work with, as well as improve the longevity of the shock.

    • @bujin5455

      @@Autofreakgarage it does see crap on the road though. Where do you think all of that corrosion came from? I figure $100 is a small price to pay to protect $2k worth of coils.

      It was my daily for the first year or two of ownership. Saw inclement weather, salt, brine, snow, etc. this current set won’t see any precipitation of any kind. It’s not my daily anymore and only taken out on warmer, dry days.
      But yes, for others that use their cars year round, covers are a wise investment.

    It looks like the lower mounts on the new coilovers are about an inch taller? Based off of what I see at 18:58 but I may be mistaken. Maybe that was how the height was off.

      Both are good options, but having the full adjustability of true coils is the way to go. Can really dial in to your liking.

    I was not aware that a simple tape measure would be accurate enough. Easy to be off by a mm or a 1/32 with a bent tape. Or maybe its just my measurement OCD lol. But if it is good enough it is good enough. Regardless impressive looking coilover. Not my cup of tea but a quality suspension component none the less.

    Do you happen to remember the torque specs for the rear? I can’t seem to find them

    • @Autofreakgarage
      @Autofreakgarage  2 года назад +1

      I don’t. Anything suspension related I use an impact. Anytime I use the torque specs it always clunks and clangs. Quick zip of the impact solves that quickly.

    Hey man i bought some fortune auto coilovers and my ride height is uneven for my rear coils. I adjusted my rear right to almost max out to match the ride height for the driver side rear. Do you think its because of the gas tank?

    • @Autofreakgarage
      @Autofreakgarage  Год назад +1

      Check the driver front. The car is an x axis and when you are lower on one side to be even, it’s because the opposite side opposite end needs to take some pressure off.
