Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: The Yellowstone River basin provides such wonderful rockhounding opportunities. I would get spoiled to finding that caliber of specimens of all types...huge colorful jaspers...enchanting large agates...sizable petrified and agatized wood...and on and on! I'm getting spoiled just watching. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us!
Well worth getting your toes frozen. The agate and jasper you found are insane. Love seing the doggies. Hope you get better soon, those cold are nasty this year.
Idea for inside cutting. Take plastic drop cloths and hang them to make a contained area for sawing. You could even use glue on velcro to seal and entry point!
Can't pick a fave, too many outstanding pieces. You have just the bestest pups, I always look forward to their antics! I hope that you are feeling better Theo!
Beautiful finds Theo! Love the green Jasper, amazing agates! Can’t wait for slabbing day! I hope you feel better Theo. Hot Chamomile tea with lemon and raw honey, it helps. Rest .
Omg this was truely an awesum hunt , sum spectacular agates & agatized wood. I love how your like a kid in a candy shop when u across piece after piece of stunning rocks, thoze yellow agatized jaspers are amazing but i have to agree with u Theo that green piece of jasper with that little flash of yellow thru it....ohhhhh will be so good to carv.
Awesome finds. Sorry you were sick. Hope it didn't last long. Love seeing the gang out playing too. I don't think I have just 1 favorite. I wouldn't cut that big piece of pet wood. Man that was gorgeous.
Overcast Hounding seems to be favorable. I loved the video, such beautiful finds. Your monster agate of the day looks like a giant molar. Happy Holidays!
Score!! Must have had a huge load on your back .. I know I have had to hide a pile of rock because I couldn't carry it all out, to come back for it later...
Wow Theo, quite the haul! and such a beautiful sunset to end the hunt day. I love the music you always add in when showing the rocks, I could listen to that for hours. Can you point me to the source?
Awesome finds! Love the agate @9:11, the green and yellow jasper and the agate @14:20, even though all of you finds on this trip are amazing. Hope you guys had a wonderful Thanksgiving!Looking forward to your sale. Thanks for sharing Theo!✌️🤠🤟
Nice finds Theo. A friend of mine is headed up to Llano Tx next week to harvest a chunk of Llanite for me. Cool stuff. Hope to make something from it. Happy Hunting
This reminds me of my hunt yesterday. We went to one of the only reliable gravel bars on the Mississippi River. Ok definitely not the Yellowstone 😂 but I did find some cool agates! One was so dark I thought it was chert at first until I picked it up and saw light shining through! Anyway… did my best! I was definitely thinking about you yesterday! The Mississippi isn’t the Yellowstone but it’s a similar experience I think there’s stuff from who knows where?! Probably found some stuff from South Dakota originally 🤷🏻♂️ the petrified wood definitely isn’t local! Crazy to find rocks that have traveled hundreds of miles!
The one you found at 9:37 looked very interesting. That was my favorite one from this find. There were SO MANY!! I would absolutely love to visit a place like that to look because where I live in Indiana there is nothing but corn fields, soy bean fields and flat land. Just a whole lot of nothing and not really anywhere to look for rocks like that at all.
Your water looks a lot like my favorite stretch of the Snake -- we also see a lot of eagles while wading the islands which pop up after run off etc. I'm loving watching your videos waiting for Spring this year:-) I'm hoping to hear which type of sprayer you are using, if you don't mind sharing
😊 ok I see you are still Theo on here! While watching the pod cast & loved hearing from Jesse I also heard them call you Ronald or Donald…? I must be missing something 😂 love your videos!
Your finds were fantastic! I hope you are feeling better by now! My favorite find so far is the mossy jasper! Its amazing but all the agates were awesome. Cant wait for the sale! feel better!
Theo, how do you carry so much weight around as you are hunting? Do you have more than one backpack? Do you use a large bucket that you deposit into? Or do you have other bags that you fill, take back to a certain point then go back out with another? Asking because you find some honkin' huge specimens, like that petrified wood piece. You are so lucky to have this area you can hunt around. Down by me in SoCal, the areas are far and few between. But there's a good area called Action, just north of the mountain range that's north of Los Angeles that has given me some great pieces. If you are ever in SoCal, I'd like to go hunting with you.
Was in Montana in Oct. Is there productive agate hunting in the Helena to 3 Rivers area? I usually only have 2 to 3 days to spend (passing thru) and don't know the areas to go. Usually make a pasear to the sapphire mines and take buckets home to work later. I-90 parallels the Yellowstone River, but don't know where to access it (seems to all be private land). Any info appreciated.

Yes, green Jasper🤩🤩🤩
Spectacular Finds! You must go there again. Hope you feel better soon.
Maybe it is the lighting that is making certain agates show up better, and that's why your day was so good. Counterintuitive, but worth considering.
Nice agates, can't wait for cutting. Feel better soon. Chicken soup 🍲
My gosh Theo you found some beautiful rocks
I always enjoy the stones you find, just beautiful!
Get better soon Theo. That green Jasper was something else, just wow and that mega agate stunning. Stay safe at home until you are really on the mend.

Hi Theo, I want to know what is the biggest barrel you have for rock tumbling, please?
Hi, I have a question, why do you not just tumble, polish these instead of cutting them??

What do you do with dark agates?
Love your channel, but I have a question. You are on a river, so is there a reason why you can't fill the spray bottle from it?
did your wade get you sick my friend?
