I've worked for Mazda and currently work for Honda. Yet, I own a 2011 4RUNNER and a 2018 Camry. I owned a 1998 4RUNNER and 2007 Camry before these two fine vehicles. I will replace these when they have been driven a few hundred thousand miles with Toyota's. Best built vehicles on the road.

I bought a Camry XSE Hybrid back in July and the hybrid emblem is slanted 😂, other hybrid emblems i have seen aren’t slanted compared to mine, but I don’t expect perfection, I buy Toyotas for their reliability and dependability.

Purchased our cavernous 2021 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro Super White for $58,693 in February (manufactured in January) shortly before the chip shortage/inflation. Now, I see Sequoias going for as high as $83,000. Besides owning a 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD Blizzard Pearl with 255,000 miles on the odometer, I wanted to own the largest vehicle, Sequoia TRD Pro, employing that legendary tried and true bulletproof naturally aspirated 5.7 liter V-8 engine and Aisin 6 speed transmission. Now, we're blessed to own two legendary Toyotas and will be waiting for the all electric 2025 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. Toyota, simply the BEST!

I'm in Virginia, but id relocate. I have a college degree: how much do these assembly/quality control jobs pay? Living wage plus benefits? 30+/hour or salary? Or is it like, 12 hours a day with no breaks and barely above minimum wage/expensive benefits?
Have you read how chips are produced and what's required? There is a reason why and where they are produced. It would not fit in their "Green" initiatives.
I worked there many years ago. I really like it the job, they don't care much about temps employees, full time members always making excuses not to work and get paid.

But I prefer vehicles that are both proven and have new fluff, like Electric cars and hybrid and all electric pickups like the Tundra Hybrid.
Russian cars are also reliable due to not been changed much in many decades (there is a van there still in production and barely changed since 1966).

It's too bad most of this footage is pre-COVID and pre-chip shortage. They don't make that many Toyota's like this anymore.
So far this year, they've produced 1.8 million cars in the US alone, even more than GM.

Why not? Christmas stuff is already in the stores. All ordered 2021 Tundras will be finished and delivered. They don't make extra.

130k miles, nothing but oil/filter changes on my 2013 rav4. Almost a 10 year old car, but both the interior and exterior has held up very nicely.
