Would love to see more videos of His Excellency Alessandro having Indian Street food and common man food as he doesn't seem to have had most (which being a little strange considering he is so long in India).. that's a way he can relate the similarities and differences of Indian Italian cuisine and may be make some fusion dishes based on his experiences.. He may be able to bring people via food close to each other that way.. Would love to see him Try Missal pav, vAda pav, fish thaali, and other Street food including paani Puri..
It's so refreshing to see Diplomats connecting with the people of the country that they are in. I used to associate Diplomats with strict protocol and official ceremonies. You seem to be doing a great job, Alessandro. Way to go!
My family lived in Mumbai from 1967-1971. I'm a second generation Italian American. We visited the American and Italian consulates often. Sometimes the women clubs would host dinners and fashion shows. It was a great time to be in Mumbai.
Alessandro is such a cool, down to earth human being! Love his sense of humor😍I can't believe he is the consul-general. More diplomats should be like him!
Smiling Diplomatic has certainly stolen my heart ❤.....they have certainly expressed their honest feedback of food served in India which is influenced with many cultures from all over the world ...but with a difference...with love from the core of my heart ..May Almighty bless them with all the riches ..
Undoubtedly both Italian and Indian people love and take pride in their cuisines and hence diverse culinery from both countries are rated among the best in the world. Wonderful food vlog😊
Guilia is now a family to India and treating other Italians as guests..😂 that's so nice to see. ❤ U know it already but still I am gonna say that's the beauty of Indian culture ☺️

Originally Indo Chinese cuisine started from Kolkata and maintains the perfect balance of the Chinese with Indian influence, with the Indian part not being too intrusive. In Rest of India, the Indian influence has become so overbearing that the Chinese essence is almost taking a backstage. To have proper Indo Chinese cuisine, you need to visit the Chinese restaurants in Tangra region of Kolkata, which is the immigrant Chinese settlement of over two centuries and where the magic originated from. 🙏🇮🇳
Complete BS. Kolkata is a dead city and had little no effect on chinese food in rest of the country...Bangholies should stop thinking and peddling lies that their state is the centre of all origins and accept the reality that there state and kolkata is DEAD. Peddling such lies won't attract any positive reviews on ur beggar state waste benghal.
@@OjasMind let's see, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gurugram, Agra, Dehradun, Mussoorie, Ranchi, Patna, Jamshedpur, Gangtok, Guwahati, Shillong, Darjeeling, Siliguri, Bhubaneswar, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, and quite few more places which am not being able to recollect as of now. Due to my job profile, I have stayed around 5 years in Chennai, and 4 years each in Mumbai and Delhi/Gurugram and toured (official tours) extensively to other places. Being a foodie, not only Chinese cuisine, I tried various types of cuisine including local cuisine. Honestly, I personally found the essence of Indo Chinese cuisine more authentic in Kolkata, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, I mean the North East. Anyways, food taste is a personal choice based on own's pallette. Because I liked Indo Chinese in Kolkata more, does not imply that it is bad at other places. I do love Mainland China Restaurant, which started out from Mumbai, Saki Naka outlet I think was the first outlet, where I tried out. 🙏
@@OjasMind ohh, forgot to mention, around a decade and half ago, Kolkata had the highest number of Chinese food eateries in a city (including the roadside eating joints) , in the world, even more than Chinese cities like Beijing. I do not know of the current status though, however it still has a huge number of Chinese outlets. However, majority of the street side chowmein joints have now been replaced by biryani joints. Biryani is the current favourite of the city, replacing chowmein, which was the fad back then. 🙏 Second most popular nowadays are the momo joints it seems. Chowmein seems to been relegated to the third place nowadays. 😊 Changing times, changing pallette choices, I guess. 😁

The Big difference between Indian cuisine is in the technique even though many of the ingredients and spices are same. Plus authentic chinese cuisine tends to use a lot of schwezwan pepper corns, which has a surprising flavour
