- Different stakeholders have worked collaboratively under the Community Action Project to address child trafficking and sexual exploitation of children in Karamoja, Uganda.
The video highlights the views and experiences of the religious leaders in their plight to stop child trafficking and sexual exploitation of children. The religious leaders in the Napak Religious Leaders Forum, established with the support from the project, work together to sensitise different communities on the impact of child trafficking, report cases of child trafficking to law enforcement officials and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that trafficked children are returned back home.
*The Community Action Project is implemented by Terre des Hommes Netherlands and Dwelling Places with funding from the U.S. Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons through the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery (GFEMS).
