so your c720 is touchscreen? i have a refurbished c720 and as far as i know it isnt touch screen. also once i go in to developer mode, how easy is it to change the channel back to the default? also, i have play store on my acer c720 however everytime i download an app from google play store it only gives me the option to download it to my phone. it just says installed. how do i run it on chromebook?

Click on the 3 line in the top left and click about chrome os

okay so what you wanna do is click on the three lines in the top left corner and hit about chrome os then hit detailed build info. and hit change channel (to change the channel you have to be on the owner account/first account made) when you hit change channel there will be some options choose developer mode and then search how to switch your chromebook into developer mode on youtube ;)

It won't work on all Chromebooks as I've recently found out , models pre 2019 it's hit and miss , search for Android apps for Chromebook and somewhere the is a link to a Google post that lists all the Chromebooks that will run play store
