Ironically, he wasnt intended to spam beast eye like that when they designed him instead of it being scripted to use it like most bosses that have it. So they patched it in the HD version

His AI is completely random yet he still somehow spams Beast Eye and Megidolaon MORE even with MORE FUCKING MOVES making it REALLY HARD TO spam the original three moves he had.

Well lots of demons switch affinity seemingly at random between games. As for Maragidyne I'm still not 100% sure if he had it in vanilla, I always kinda assumed he did because he had Mazandyne and has both moves when you get him as an ally, but he rarely used any elemental spells at all as a boss so IDK.
I basically cheated and slapped his shit with a 40 luck metatron who kept evading and wasting Mot's turns. It made it feel like fighting a normal enemy because of how fast it died.

Coding error, in the original. They gave him unlimited access to a skill that is supposed to be restricted in use even by bosses. In the original you can increase so much your evasion that he can lose all of his turns to a single missed attack, so you can have a winning strategy. In hardtype they gave him a accuracy increasing skill, so you have to nuke him before he can take all the turns.
I think that Beast's and Dragon's Eye should work exclusively if you still have Full Press Turns left rather than with Half Press Turns too. It'd be less of a meme, yes, but it'd make more sense (IE: taking a full turn and splitting it into parts).

There's max number of press turns you can have at one time. He can still keep using Beast Eye after it but he doesn't get any more blips.
Yeah, the limit is 7 I think, presumably so the turn icons don't clash with the moon phase indictor. The limit is 8 in DDS2 and I haven't tried DDS1.
