It is very important to put the fuel hoses on the tank on the proper ports. Just finished chasing a P0087 Low Fuel Pressure fault on my Jetta TDI 2011. Seems to only occur during warm weather and on hill pulls. Vehicle will go into limp mode. I've heard there is a fuel thermostat that is bypassed if hooked up wrong. You will hear a buzzing noise intermittently.

@@CAMMORANIUM No, just swapping the lines was the fix. Haven't had the issue since. Another person on Facebook had the same issue and found their lines swapped too which resolved their issue.

You can disconnect negative on battery if you like, usually best when working around gas but can be done with out
