You don’t want to connect it between the fuel rail and HPFP as that is high pressure. You want to connect it between the fuel tank and HPFP. This should be a soft line coming into the engine bay.
@stratifiedauto Mine is a 2.0tsi jetta with the plastic oil filter housing. I have an off idle lean code (clogged injectors) and a LPFP sensor reading too high code
I had the fuel pressure on 40bar on idle, 2 days later on low rpm the engine stalled and now it is at tje mechanic. No fault code what so ever, suspecting it is the lpfp and fuel filter. golf 6 gti
@@stratifiedautoSo, i've got the car back from VW dealership. I see that the engine is filled and mixed oil with petrol. What could cause this? Is it from trying to crank it up and start it without luck?
I have 3 codes on rn if anyone knows if it’s a sensor or the actual fuel pump? My codes are P2293 P053f P0087 Lmk if you know anything low fuel pressure
Hey nice video. Wondering what the low side pressure should be at idle cause mine is bouncing from like 79 to 85. Thanks
This is about right. You will get some fluctuations.
When are you guys gonna do a dsg tune for the mk6
When Cobb releases tcu tuning for the mk6
Is there a link to this kit pretty cool kit
This is a fuel pressure test kit from Amazon and a ram suction cup mount.
My fuel rail connects to the hpfp with a stiff aluminum fuel line. Do I connect the gauge straight to the hpfp? There's nowhere else to connect it

My 2015 gli low pressure is at 50 while steady speed then drops to 45 psi when I get the torque limitation code
The code and fuel pressure are probably not related.
do you know where the low pressure fuel pressure sensor is?
The mk6 does not have one
@stratifiedauto how come mine is throwing a code for it? 😭
The code for low pressure is from the HPFP sensor if you have an mk6 GTI.

Then you have a sensor, harness or connector issue. Circuit codes always mean this.

You can check the LPFP like it do shown in the video.
@@stratifiedauto Thanks, i let the mechanic know so he can start from there and save him from hassle.

I have seen stuck op e injectors on these motors.
What’s the pressure reading for 2017 gli?
This will depend on the demand on the fuel system. You want to see above 50psi at wide open throttle.
@@stratifiedauto HI i have a CC 3.6 ,what's the LOW/HIGH fuel pressure reading for it ?
What's the minimum pressure for the electric fuel pump on a GTI MK5 2.0 TFSI? 6 bar fuel pump?
I wouldn’t want it below 40psi at wide open throttle.
Hey I was wondering what’s the spec for a mk6 gti low side pressure
That depends on engine rpm and load. Under wide open throttle it should not drop below 45psi
I have 3 codes on rn if anyone knows if it’s a sensor or the actual fuel pump? My codes are
P2293
P053f
P0087
