Really stunning flight. The inflight services look quite nice for trans Atlantic flight. Still haven't had a chance to fly on A380, so I hope you would be able to be on that plane soon.

Great video, as always! Fly 380 on upper deck is one of my goals! The IFE looks bit older, but the seat configuration on upper deck is much better than on many new planes like 787 or A350! Btw. I hope the infant on board didn't scream all your flight :-D
Much appreciated! Completely agree - the upper deck offers the best economy cabin in the sky. For once, all the infants went straight to sleep :D

Good trip report mate! BA's long haul product doesn't seem to be bad however I do think 80 Pounds to reserve a seat is a bit over the top.
Thank you, appreciated! The fees are absurd, that's why I tend to wait until seat allocation during check-in.
Amazing video, LHR flyer... subbed/liked... amazing channel
I flew a BA 777 from DFW to LHR in May and the IFE was still the same and the touch screen still as annoyingly unresponsive. I'll be making the trip to DFW again in September and I'll be flying home on the A380 just for the experience. I tend to book through BA for the Avios but fly AAL because I think the IFE is so much better than BA's but I'm making an exception this trip just to experience the A380 for the first time

Next time could you please record the sound of the engines during the take off? I like more listening to the sound of an engine instead listening to the fucking music.
Passive noise canceling, at best, in that they physically block out noise by being snug in the ears - there's no technology that cancels out noise.
Had the same seat on flight to Singapore - will never fly BA economy again. 31 inch pitch is horrific and then they stick those TV boxes by your feet... Madness
Richard Miller Thanks for the clarification on the earphones - makes sense. Between Singapore and London, I’d chose SQ or any Asian airlines for that matter over BA, but doubt that there are many better options when flying from LA.
Thank you that I had to listen to music during the safety demonstration. It is nice if somebody who loves listening to Brtish English has to listen to music. Moron.
