I love this video. Just to see how much Claudio has grown is absolutely amazing. The enthusiasm and wonder of a young man trying to make a mark in this world. He has definitely accomplished that and then some. Cheers from one of many among the fence.
i'm glad he decided not to put all the band members into the story and its great to see how much this band has evolved not only conceptually but technically. p.s. lawl at The Upper Armories of the Third Deep.
this was about a year after i got into them... a high school friend went to new york and brought me back a copy of the delirium trigger ep when they were still shabutie... this has been my band ever since... i bought second stage the day it came out and flipped when i saw it had delirium trigger junesong provision and 33 on it... damn i wish i still had that ep... would be fucking awesome to have claudio sign it
The Story used to be WAAAAY different, Elf Tower New Mexico used to be a Cannon part of the story, it Was a portal to Heavens Fence, Claudio, mic, Josh and Travis are the children of Co&Ca, Something about a god named Hiroshima and the Lord Apollitic. more stuff happened on Paris: Earth... the story was way way way different back then.
Yea....... Claudia changed some shit when you know who came back in his life.......now the ONLY song he says he hated and won't play live is Elf tower....and if you know why I guess you can understand.
@@solonelyjonesy3820 aww bro....I'd be here all damn day typing that shit out......I guess if you can find the info look up "Nikki Owen".....then look up "Chandra Ekhart"......alot of the bands earlier work is about Claudios and their relationship.
Coheed and Cambria, they’re a good band, you should go check them out. In fact, they’re fucking amazing. Started listening to them in the In Keeping Secrets era and I’m so happy they’re still making music and going strong.
My first shiow was in 2002, and have been to over 30 now. I've never committed to something for so long ha. But for real every show when your're around complete strangers, but they're not really at all.... or when you run into other coheed family..nothing like it. I rant all of this because for anyone that reads this and knows how special and ridiculously talented this band is please go to 4min 25sec into this video.... what a guy....and you can tell he had NO idea what was to come.... end rant.
holy hell. its amazing to see how much claudio has grown up since that first interview. he looks so young and nerdy! but we still loved him. coheed and cambria
mab love claudio, like how he couldnt look in the interviewers eyes etc such an amazin guy, his shyness produced some amazing music and works of fiction.
The story changed so much!! Althought I do like a lot of things about that original story... the band members are spawns of Coheed and Cambria, and they go to Heaven's Fence to kick ass? YES!
@xMildChildx I know, right? I have started reading Year of the Black Rainbow and am pretty far through it, and hearin ghim explain I was like, "That doesn't seem to be what I read...?" Lol.
Idk... His stories have gotten better since then, he's writing better songs, and he's definitely got cooler hair! I guess the only thing that sucks now is that his acid reflux has gotten worse... its sad when you see him struggle on stage and you know thats why...
Why do they not jump around on stage as much anymore??!?!?!?!?!?!?! Claudio, if you read this, JUMP AROUND MORE!!..and i say hi...Oooh and also, Please come to Australia...but not over 18 concert again.
Did he have ANY goddamn idea what he was doing with the story at this point, or was he just making everything up as he goes? "The band members will come in and kick ass"... WHAT?!
Jumping around quickly takes a toll on a musician. I dislocated my knee jammin' at a gig and I'm only 17. Plus it's really hard to keep focused doing windmills, slinging an instrument around, while maintaining balance, playing properly, and not passing out from the heat of stage lights (those create a great deal of heat!). It's fun, but sometimes not worth it, especially if it lowers the quality of your music live. Yeah, put on a good show, but play good music as well.
Looks like he was just making it up as he went. Haha. But damn, look at how things have changed. Claudio looks kinda naive and like he doesn't know how big the band will eventually become. Or how big his hair will end up for that matter!!!
he gets so excited when he starts explaining the original story behind the amory wars, i love it
with a fan base of millions, why has this video only been viewed 21K? Coheed and Cambria is one of the greatest rock bands of this generation.
This is a person that stands by his vision, even if the radio minded fools wrote them off at first. Look at them now, they've taken over!
I love this video. Just to see how much Claudio has grown is absolutely amazing. The enthusiasm and wonder of a young man trying to make a mark in this world. He has definitely accomplished that and then some. Cheers from one of many among the fence.
Hell yeah, looking beautiful as always Becca! Have a great night!
i'm glad he decided not to put all the band members into the story and its great to see how much this band has evolved not only conceptually but technically.

he seemed very eager and excited to tell about the story of coheed and cambria.

That’s a badass story, what did you think of The Unheavenly Creatures?

God he's so young.

Jeez.... I damn near cried when he got to the part about kids saying they'd love to "bludgeon him to death in a chair." Poor Claudio! =[
This is an awesome old interview of Coheed, especialy for anybody who is interested in checking out and reading their their story.
the upper armories of the third deep lol
It is a deep cut Lord of the Rings reference.
I wrote that on my iksse cd cover

That laugh, lol.
This his definitely a gem 💎
I do the same thing. My lady calls it my "stoner laugh".
I am so glad they kept at it, although TSSTB is my absolute favorite album from them and a top 3 ever from anyone
the bag on line is the amory wars he change the name of the project a couple years ago
Haha, Claudio seems so nervous for this interview. I think he eventually got the hang of it at some point.
Its crazy to see how different the story was
He looks so much like Cedric Bixler-Zavala in this interview!
His laugh at 2:21
LOLZ!!!
you did it guys you fucking made it
Love this 💚
sounds so young and animated
I fucking love Co&Ca omg
Mine got stolen as well, i'll miss that yellow disc with black print. I'd give anything to get that equal vision version back.
My son's middle name is Apollo because of coheed
this is so trippy to see
He has improved so much as a speaker. He hardly sais the word "lik" now a days.
@xMildChildx I know, right? I have started reading Year of the Black Rainbow and am pretty far through it, and hearin ghim explain I was like, "That doesn't seem to be what I read...?" Lol.
you can tell he wasnt really saying teh real story just changing it or dumbing it down to make it not seem as crazy as people think it is.
sounds like his idea for amory wars
dramatically changed since then lol
Wait it wasn't called the Amory Wars originally?
Yes but with the pre fix of .....the bag online adventures of coheed and Cambria......he came up with it when he was doin the Shabutie thing.
@@streamer_services Thanks, I didn't know
2:20 Dat laugh...
An island of precociousness in a sea of playfulness...
he sounds high while talking about the amory wars :)) fucking love this guy and this band
Dammit Claudio is my fucking role model period!
Idk... His stories have gotten better since then, he's writing better songs, and he's definitely got cooler hair!
I guess the only thing that sucks now is that his acid reflux has gotten worse... its sad when you see him struggle on stage and you know thats why...
What's holding his hair back. I'm trying to grow my hair/beard like this and would like to know.
I think it’s a slim headband
nice
we return to heavens fence and kick ass lol
how old is this? or around what years does each peace of footage arrange?
Why do they not jump around on stage as much anymore??!?!?!?!?!?!?! Claudio, if you read this, JUMP AROUND MORE!!..and i say hi...Oooh and also, Please come to Australia...but not over 18 concert again.
Uh yeah, no stage security it seems, 3:44. Awesome shit. Up on stage with Coheed.
dat laugh
His overall genius is present but he didn't yet know how to apply it.
Did he have ANY goddamn idea what he was doing with the story at this point, or was he just making everything up as he goes? "The band members will come in and kick ass"... WHAT?!
Haha, my has the story changed over the years.
That is not what happens in the story at all lol, but he definitely made it better.
@VmanTheMind yeah I've guessed as much.
haHA! claud! so young!
We're all gay for Claudio. That's entirely acceptable in society's perception
when did he get those chipmunk teeth repaired?
@mohdhisyambabdrazak lol!!

@Omnivoe Probably a hair band bro.
danng claudio seems soo geeky xD ahhah still badass though :o
