This is such a wild coincidence but I've been wanting this car and starting looking at videos like any normal person right... the road you're driving on at the start with the pond is the road I live on! It's a clear sign I should get the ST1. Such a crazy coincidence you're in Clayton.

Very informative.. right.on point.. I was fortunate to acquire an ST-2 pre face just before they changed it to the new face model so got a huge discount.. then went to Mountune for MP275.. all for under 20K..

I was able to pick up a '17 ST1 with 20k miles used at $15,500 and I feel like I stole the car from the dealership. @Gjeebs recommended me to your video here and I agree with everything you are saying. Sure, the features in the ST3 and 2 are nice but I drove the ST1 and fell in love and it didn't matter to me about the interior.

I feel the same way as you , I'm pretty low tech from the old school and not into the Infotainment thing . I just wanting the ST1 package and no moonroof ( because I know that can be had as a seperate option) because they can cause squeaks and rattles. Futhermore, for me coming from an older Scion XB , this is a huge upgrade for me. Ive always wanted a turbocharged engine with power and the Focus ST is an awesome car !! I love my 2017 Focus ST1 in Kona Blue ❤️
I got a 2018 focus st in blue and it was 20k. Even had the upgraded wheels and red brakes.
Fast forward to July '19 & it's just the opposite. Dealers are getting 20-23k for used ST1's w/ 20k miles on them, it's a joke.
Sold my GTI and shopped around for a few months before I came across my ST. Cars I seriously looked at were the Mini cooper S, JCW Mini S, Focus RS and Hyundai Veloster N. All of which were better vehicles imo but were close to twice as much as my purchase in the end... I got my 2018 STI1 with 20K miles for 17K. My ST has only impressed me since I got it and hopefully it holds up better than my MKVI gti. The only thing I dislike about the st1 are the halogen headlights and the fact its called a focus lol.
Just rip the "Focus" emblem off the back and nobody will ever know lol. Congrats on the purchase. Still loving mine!

How about a fiesta st1 for performance bargain?
Oh yeah the Fiesta is a great bargain as well! And a fun little car to toss around. For me though 2 things pushed me away from the Fiesta. First one is the size. Just a little too small, and the second was I was looking for something that had over 200 horsepower out of the box. But I have driven them and I will say they are more fun then the ST but to live with I needed the size of the Focus.
Nice looking car , I would probably put my own buckets in and take those ones out but I have always changed the interior of most of my cars and put my own custom wheels with a nice set of meats to suit my own taste of what I like or want where I can say its mine and there is not another one like it. Btw whats under the hood ?
Ron Smith it's an ecoboost 2.0 turbo. Factory they make 252hp/270tq but I have some goodies on mine that have bumped those numbers up quite a bit. Video coming soon with details.
Sunroof, Navigation with subwoofer, Recaro seats heated, heated steering, headlights that move when you steer, keyless entry keypad, carbon fiber package ST3, upgraded wheels. If you like the base model that's for you. I like the car so I went with the ST3 package carbon fiber in white because white is cooler in the hot Florida sun black is very hot and its hard to keep clean and since its so dark of a color you don't really see the car black exterior details as it blends in with the black. If I could of I would have gone for the flat new grey on the RS but it was not available.
Every conversation from here on out you have to explain why you chose st1.
