  • In this first video I ride my new 2023 Yamaha Superjet. After 30 years of being absent from riding stand ups I return in 2023 to hopefully relearn how to ride and take you with me.

My Son always keeps me on my toes since he was little, used to watch him out of the kitchen window on the same lake ride his bicycle off that boat ramp before he ever thought of his next adventure, I guess as a Mother I always will worry about him, so proud of all his accomplishments in life, Love Mom❤

I started riding stand ups again in 2019 after about 30 years too. I just bought this 2023 Superjet on July 1st and love it! I hope you're enjoying your SJ too!

Very cool, you have the best ride on the lake! You'll get the modification bug before too long!

I'm 53 yrs old and have not ridden a stand up for 20 years, would you recommend this, I really want one.

Hard for me to recommend it. I wondered a couple times after my purchase if I’d gotten into something I shouldn’t have but after putting in some time I feel pretty good about it. I can tell you this. It is a better platform to start with than what you rode 20 years ago.

If you're in decent shape and have good balance, get one. Plus you've ridden before. I'm sixty four and just bought this ski July 1st and love it!

I have a reed 550 that I bought about a year and half ago that I still have to practice on. Eventually I would like to buy a 4stroke super jet or sxr. Why did you choose this over the sxr1500?

Availability and I wanted something more like the 550’s I rode back in the day. It’s little bigger but I know it’s closest thing modern I could get to the old skis. However I did ride a Kommander Gp1 last week and I’ve never felt anything like that in my life. It also handled extremely well. More money but definitely worth it. I’m happy with my Superjet though it’s all I need at my current skill level.

If you can ride the 550 you can ride anything. Personally I hate the newer stand-ups. They feel huge and heavy.
