i distinctly remember a point in high school when the idea of "making it" as someone starting to dabble with DAWs on my ancient gen 1 iPad and a secondhand iPhone 4, was to get a song released with DA5H. not even Monstercat, man, it was crazy. your music has always been an incredibly inspiring force for me ever since i first heard it with Back To Love. there's so much passion in so much of your music that rings through so clearly-- it's a rare and wonderful thing that im so glad i can say i was here to feel it to the fullest extent. i got excited SO MANY times like a child hearing callbacks to older beloved music! this whole album really did feel like it was made for the peeps like me, and im so so grateful you've put so much passion into making it for all of us to enjoy ❤ anyway, imma zip it before the sappiness gets everywhere and jam out real freakin hard to this thing front to back again!!
The self-samples are my absolute favorite parts, it comes across as a love letter to your own journey, and as an artist myself there's something so magical about that; Your music never ceases to inspire
I can say with confidence, we all love you Vylet. You've probably changed lives, and I can say with confidence, you've changed mine. I probably wouldn't be a brony today if not for you, I wouldn't enjoy a show I fell in love with if not for the best side of a fandom like this. Thank you so, so much Vylet Pony for what you do.
Imagine every single film you loved as a kid to early teen, then imagine that you knew each and every director and genre. then imagine literally ten years later you come across a film made by someone who looks very clearly apart of an artistic trend you can predict, and then when you watch that film it's every film and genre you knew as a kid recreated and chopped apart with such knowledge that you can only stand agape at the fact that someone has made something totally new within those classic genres, while also displaying exact knowledge of the films you knew. That is this album. Everything good and interesting about brostep as an ur-genre is featured in this album, this is made by someone who knows and loves sound more than they do the festivals and parties that these genres were made for. I have come into contact with a true artist.
It's little moments like this that make several tracks in this album my favorites ever because of how *hard* they made me laugh out of fucking nowhere lmfao
The sound design ALONE has me PINNED to the ceiling right now. oh my god like my soul wants to ascend to heaven but i couldn't possibly bear parting with such a masterpiece;;;; trapping me a limbo of pure audio heaven 2010's Skrillex COULD **NEVER** Hell, even Camillia should be quaking in their boots over this. Jokes aside though, this is probably my favorite album of the year, and will likely stay that way -- music is my entire lifeblood, so this means a lot in my books. Your art is a blessing to all 6 senses, and I am truly grateful that I found this today. Thank you. 2,147,483,647/ 10.
I’m by no means someone who’s into My Little Pony (tho im NOT a hater of it dw lmao) but damn this is an album and a half. I’ve missed this 2013-2016 sound for so long and you’ve captured it so well i’d genuinely think these were some demos from that era if i didn’t know better. Like this is genuinely my aoty for this year you absolutely KILLED it here across the entire album, the back half especially with Sacred Dragon & Facing Oblivion, i hear a lot of old school Porter Robinson/ZEDD in them and that’s possibly my favourite sound rn Anyways, this is my AOTY, you’ve really created something special here
This was such a beautiful blend of so many different genres of EDM. You've got Color Bass, Bass, Glitchstep, Big Room House, Progressive House, Trance--god so much variety here. It feels like I'm seeing three different stages at EDC at once. Phenomenal. And I could hear (what I assumed were) tons of different inspirations in each song. Language by Porter in Facing Oblivion, some Martin Garrix sprinkled in a few tracks like DJ Goober, some Virtual Riot/Skybreak, what FELT like Skrillex inspiration in Musicians of Ponyville, I THINK I heard Madeon somewhere, I need to relisten, but you put that unique Vylet Pony spin on each of them. And don't even get me STARTED on the raw emotion you put into the last track. The vocal struggle into the resolved "One More Time.." before rolling into Antonymph. Thanks for the tears homie. I might be biased because I'm a festival/EDM junkie, but jesus fuck this was beautiful. I listened to this album like 4 times on the way to Lost in Dreams LA last weekend, and this would've peaked even Dab The Sky for me. Make more thanks.
it's 4 am and i am listening to the album as it's premiering. life is chaotic and a rollercoaster, but right now it's good. i am sitting in my room listening to music i am loving more and more by the second. life, as it is right now, in this very minute, is going great. that is a privilege i can confidently say i currently possess. what a lovely album, what lovely music.
I don't know why but the lightning sound effect at 14:50 gets me every time I listen to this album, its like the wub wizard randomly decided to cast a lightning bolt mid song because its cool⚡
This album has been such an amazing listen through the last week of working on things and it's so wonderful seeing you continue to thrive with every new musical project you do!! Always ecstatic to see what you do next, it's always an incredible time ⭐
"this album looks to be a sillier one, i don't think i'll start bawling this time" (ONE BRAINMELTING LATER) GOD LIKE. i am having a genuinely difficult time putting into words how strongly i feel about this because i always have a hard time putting it into words i just. hajskldghjaksdgUAUUAUUAUAUUAUAUUUUUU.AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.🌈🎶✨❤🌈🌠🌈💖🏳🌈✨🎵

I also like to be detailed in comments and stuff because i LOVVVVVEEE finding details and stuff in people's work, and interpertating stuff. I will take your suggestion and look thru more of their music and some of the older stuff YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ayyy i started Vylet’s music with Lesbian Ponies With Weapons too!! Designed a character around it on my first listen. So glad you’re unpacking your past and processing. It’s an aspect of a couple of her most recent albums too.
feel like i’ve screamed in surprise so many times listening to this.. dppt soundfont, antonymph callback, the intro text lyric (which i did not realize was from another song I need to tap in), and now 57:35. whAAAAAAT
i don’t usually comment on anything but i just wanted to say thank you. ive been here since CUTIEMARKS and your music was definitely a factor in changing my life for the better. CUTIEMARKS taught me how to live again. fish whisperer taught me how to love life. Carousel broke me into a million pieces and then picked me back up again, teaching me that me and my trauma could coexist and work together for a healthier future. Paradise Valley cradled the lonely and queer neurodivergent child in me. And finally, Girls Who Are Wizards showed me this was all just the beginning. thank you for this music being here on the journey of mending my mind and soul. getting my feelings out right is complicated, but i hope it came across, this album is fantastic as always! love ur stuff, it’s very healing 💕🌱

This was my first time ever listening to a Vylet Pony album, and what a treat it was! I heard of you in 2021 when I found ANTONYMPH on Equestria Daily, and even though I really enjoyed it, I made the mistake of not checking out your other videos after that. I heard people speaking highly of this album so I decided to finally give it, and a lot of your other music as well, a listen. I have never heard so much care, originality, fun, and raw emotion put into music than I have with Vylet Pony. Your utilization of sound design is immaculate, i can honestly say that your music sounds like you having been honing it as a craft for over a decade. This album made me feel the entire spectrum of human emotions and some non-human ones too. Your sound completely defies genre and manages to explore so many themes and motifs while still remaining true to EDM. And there’s a fantasy story to go along with the album? This is really something special. I think this might be some of the most amazing and love-filled art ever created by humankind. My personal favorite songs were “Creature City” and “Facing Oblivion to Become the Lode Star”. I also really enjoyed “Wayfarer” from your album “CUTIEMARKS”. And one final note to close this comment, I loved Shelly the Android Lobster!
this is probably the best dubstep i've heard in years. might beat out the first time i heard alchemist by savant or there goes your money by virtual riot. never stop making music
Phenomenal album. The wait couldn't have been more worth it. The Antonymph moment near the end got me tearing up not gonna lie. Love your stuff, I'm gonna have this on loop for months
Just discovered you from this release and I'm halfway through and LOVING it. So inspired by certified hood bangers of the 2010's golden era dubstep age. Your sampling is insane. Also hearing a massive Savant influence in these tracks -- from harpsichord to straight up sampling his synth stabs, and its blended together masterfully with some great vibes. This is gonna be my summer jam, I can tell. I ain't even here for the ponies, I'm here 100% for the crunchy chunes. Massive ups broski
this album is amazing man, i cant believe you covered all the bases. monstercat, ncs, spinning records, trap nation, you name it. we got prog house, big room, all kinds of -step, what a throwback! such a fun treat. i love ur music man
Unironically the best album I've heard this year! Thank you Vylet and friends for making me feel such immense joy in music form 😭 This album inspires me to do my art and helps me keep my mood up in the sky! Hugs from Brazil 💕
That last song was truly magical. I usually just skip through albums and even songs cause I'm a brain rot psycopath, but I thought for this one, Ill actually try to listen to a whole album all the way through just this once, so happy I did
You've been a huge inspiration for me and this album and your music as a whole has created a space in my heart that I will always cherish. You've created such a beautiful community and musical identity that i've haven't found anywhere else and for that I am forever grateful. We're all proud of who you've become and what you've created and I think 13 year old you would be proud of what you made of this. From me to you and everyone else. Thank you and never change 💛🤍
Absolute SHOWSTOPPER of an album that's exploding with musical colors and textures. I'm begging you to please keep at more tracks in this vein if the inspiration strikes - when you do, you blow the doors down like no one else!
Been looking for this style of dubstep since about 2016. I genuinely thought it died completely, but holy crap here you are. Please keep making this stuff- it's sorely needed.
I dont know who you envisioned listening to this, but I think its kind of crazy that its playing an active role in getting things done around the world, things are being done with this music and motivated by it that you cant even imagine, for example intense gaming experiences, building cars or airplanes, running trains and systems, building computer networks... the list is literally endless. Im an engineer for a space company thats why i figured it would be amazing if you knew so many people are doing things in the world to your music and has a crazy influence WOOO!!
it's been a weird journey for me, starting out liking your music but thinking you were cringe (because I was transphobic) ...and then becoming trans myself, and now I'm starting to get into music and other art forms and all I can say is I really look up to you and other trans artists like u, you're an absolute inspiration
Holy moly, it's been a long long time since I've listened to some Pony Dubstep. Takes me back and yet it makes me feel like I've caught up all at the same time. What an experience. 🎉
this comment goes out to my fren rubes, the very person who gets to hear this at a much timely hour than I do with how she’s in a different time zone right now. and also the one who introduced me to Vylet’s musique. :>
I fucking love it... Unforgiving electro... Hard hitting dubstep.. elsctrostep... Sick sound clips.. even my inner gammer nerd got some play in this... Fucking fire.. fire fire fire..
There has been *no* more satisfying exercise than the freeform dancing and raving I did to this album. Also had a good couple cries throughout. In short, keep ice water handy to stay hydrated, y'all!!!
Oh my god it's been over a decade since I've heard fresh pony music hit my feed. Maybe I've been out of the loop... Nevertheless THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING AND I yayED SO HARD
OH BOY OH BOY IM SO EXCITED I WAITED THIS ALBUM RELEASE FOR SO LONG AND NOW ITS HERE YIPEEEEEE I CANT WAIT TO LISTEN TO ALL OF THIS SONGS AND CHANGE MY PERSPECTIVE AND MAKE ME THINK A LOT AND CRY EVEN

Im an engineer for a space company thats why i figured it would be amazing if you knew so many people are doing things in the world to your music and has a crazy influence WOOO!!
homeless rn, sadly wasnt able to watch premier but I love this!
THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS NO ‼

Is anyone else thinking that shelly the android lobster is THE defining artist of our generation?
THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER??????? MY JAW KEEPS DROPPING EACH SONG OH MY GOD
it's been a weird journey for me, starting out liking your music but thinking you were cringe (because I was transphobic)
...and then becoming trans myself, and now I'm starting to get into music and other art forms and all I can say is I really look up to you and other trans artists like u, you're an absolute inspiration
22:38, its f#@$ trixie!
THE MUSIC NEVER STOPS!!!!
As we look each other in the eye and our wizard hats manifest from the aether, there are but two words at our lips.
"Goes hard."
i dont get the coin collector jokes but i love them regardless
Holy moly, it's been a long long time since I've listened to some Pony Dubstep.
Takes me back and yet it makes me feel like I've caught up all at the same time.
What an experience. 🎉
I remember when vid said it’s wizarding time and wizarded all over the place
this comment goes out to my fren rubes, the very person who gets to hear this at a much timely hour than I do with how she’s in a different time zone right now. and also the one who introduced me to Vylet’s musique. :>

This scratches the itch I've had since hearing Worlds and Adventure in 7th grade

I've always loved Vylet's EDM songs so this album is a godsend 🙏🙏🙏 every song is amazing
There has been *no* more satisfying exercise than the freeform dancing and raving I did to this album. Also had a good couple cries throughout. In short, keep ice water handy to stay hydrated, y'all!!!
Another easy peak album from the goat I almost cried 3 times, you'll get me one day
I havent heard music like this since Savant's latest album. This is sick
The transition in the first track activated sleeper cell gamer programming in my brain
