Nice job Ford.
Sadly, EVERY vehicle is too expensive right now...
Like the look of the 2 door instead of the school bus look.
thanks for the video guys. It's great seeing the Bronco on real Ontario off roading courses and trails!
Looks fun! Couldn't see myself paying $60,000 or more for one.
You shouldnt pay more than $100. All Ford products are complete garbage!
$50K for my Badlands
2023 WildTrak’s will be even better since they now come with the Fox shocks. HOSS 3.0
I have the 2003 HOSS 3.0, love it, but I took a non SAS Badlands through the Moab Off Rodeo, and it was suepr capable. Basically went everywhere the others went. The biggest difference really was the lack of a camera for tight areas. A super capable machine in most forms.
Wow, Minden is close to the route I used when I travelled between Barrie & Ottawa back in my college years! Best scenic roads ever!
Mine would be Base Sasquatch for touring the US Midwest. I really want one but I’m open to other vehicles now too. I’m over the hype.
Jeep needs to do something about the Bronco. I can get a base Bronco with the Sasquatch package and get 35s and front and rear lockers for 40k. If I want the same thing on a Wrangler, I need the Rubicon Xtreme Recon which will run me at least 55k
Awesome review. Nice jump. Good to see these vehicles get real life tests
70k, thank you! Sounds fine with me!
Really good job narrating. You rival the pros!
Awesome awesome video as always guys. Love the content you put up on the channel for us to just gobble up. I really wanna see Ford Ranger Tremor VS Toyota Tacoma TRD Offroad....I think that would be cool.
12:39...I did a jump like that with my 84' Buick Electra Wagon over set a Railroad tracks...car came down heavy.. never did it again 😧 Good afternoon Howard n Steve!!
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it
I have a new 2 door Eruption Green Bronco, on 37 in GY Wranglers, beautiful offroad bumpers with an ARB winch! People constantly stop to check it out lol. I have not noticed a need for a names rock crawl mode, or a stability bar disconnect! It is the most capable 4x4 I have ever driven!
I have to admit, It was already on 37s and had the offroad bumpers and winch already installed when I bought it from my boss, so it seems so weird seeing them stock online here without 37s lol. Mine looks like a monster truck lol, by comparison.
I only bought it to have until I can finally get a Bronco Raptor!
Can’t wait to get my Wildtrak at this off road course. Thanks for video and hope you can’t arrange a off road bronco weekend meet for a off road course
Check out the Minden off-road park - its really tough.
Needs a manual and it would be awesome
Apples to apples...2-door Bronco Wildtrak vs 2-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Bronco is more refined. Both are a blast though.
I'd like to know what rules the manufacturers give you guys when you test the vehicle. And what do they do with the vehicle after you're done testing it? Like do they still sell it as new or do they have to sell it as a used vehicle.
Dealers here in Alberta charge a premium on the bronco. I seen as much $20,000 over sticker!!! At Koch ford in Edmonton. Usually around $10,000 for base models then goes up with badlands and wild track models. They say there’s no premium if you order one but then they tell you it’ll be at least 8 months before you get it.
looks good but it has a long way to go before I would think about trading my jeep for one.
Dad is who jumped! 🤣🤣🤣
How come you didn’t use the trail turn assist?! 😱 PS - your voice when you were in the Baja mode part you sound like Rick Sanchez 😂❤
Agree that both Jeep & Bronco have their respective high points. Regarding the Badlands not being as 'Baja' as the Wildtrack... I'm not sure I understand that. If the Badlands has the Sasquatch like the Wildtrack I would think it's as Baja capable. The + of the Badlands is it also has the disconnecting stabilizer, which would elevate it closer to the Jeep rock crawling capability - in my opinion. Am I missing something? I'm not an offroad pro by any stretch. Great video! Can't wait for my 2dr Badlands which is almost here on the train 👍👍
The wildtrak has different shocks with reservoirs. This gives it more high-speed capability. The newest wildtraks with hoss 3 get fox dampers and a strengthened steering rack. The badlands even with the sasquatch doesn't get the same tuned dampers because it's focus is slower crawling. Not all sasquatch broncos have the same suspension.
@@WbrookS-jm2bj I understand the HOSS 3.0 upgrade... makes sense. I was unaware there were different suspension options on the Badlands. I have one on the train right now and didn't know that when I ordered it... hmmm
@@adamwebber9547 I think the badlands still has bilsteins with reservoir but that there was some difference in tuning and spring rate between the two. I took my dad to pick up his wildtrak yesterday. He got the hoss 3 package but because he wanted the uprated steering rack. I drove it about an hour and really liked it. Felt way more nimble then my power wagon lol. Hope you get your bronco soon. Enjoy it.
Edit- I shouldn't have said better in the first response. Maybe different.
Originally, the primary difference between the BL and the WT is that the BL had the swaybar disconnect and rock crawling mode, whereas the WT had Baja and Sport modes. The WT also came standard with the 2.7L engine and Sasquatch. However, Ford added the HOSS 3.0 option to the WT (only), which is now standard -- if you can even order a WT. I have it on mine, and it upgraded the suspension and shocks significantly, while also adding a rear swaybar. This made a huge difference in ride quality, on and off road. AFAIK, the only suspension options for the BL were Sas vs non-Sas, because you could order a non-Sas BL.
@@supermike0822 i have a non sas Badlands. I have Baja mode.
Hey ain’t watched yet, but being 2nd to the iconic Jeep while improving the on road manners ain’t a bad thing!
Chevy need to get in the fight......
Fun…but both are way too expensive
It’s really odd but in my opinion the bronco is one of the extremely few visual things particularly vehicles that looks better on video and picture than in person.
The bronco stomps the jeep
Now, if only you could actually buy one LMFAO!
Got this exact one in Sarasota fl a few weeks ago worth every penny nothing comes close imo
That’s why it’s called a bronco, it bucks when you off-road in high speed😜
Both this and the Wrangler are too expensive, but I prefer the Bronco. Would get the Black Diamond over this though. Glad to see you with the two door version. Both brands look terrible in a four door.
To bad it only has the Hoss 2.0 system, there isn't much content on the Hoss 3.0 yet...
Most people are going to be just fine with the 2.0 but the hoss 3.0 is of course better
@@thebayharborbutcher9115 most people that buy a badlands with the Sasquatch package would immediately opt for the 3.0 in my opinion. They should have offered it as an option on the Badlands they made a major mistake by not doing that. Not that they will be losing money because they're making hand over fist money, but rather they are upsetting loyal customers, complicated by dealership b*******. Ford is also becoming very elitist making specialty vehicles nearly impossible to get unless you're a blue check or you have never ending deep pockets. I went to my dealership said I had $30,000 to put down cash, that wasn't enough to get me on the list.
Waaay too pricey.
70K. No thank you.
Mine came in at $50K. 2dr Badlands, front & rear lockers, stabilizer bar disconnect, Marine Grade Vinyl interior, 4 auto, trail (cruise) control, keyless entry, auto start, heated front seats.
I have doubts about the performance of this Bronco, I just another video from an off-road recovery where they had to pull one out of easy desert spot... 🤣
The owner in that video didn't know how to get it into 4Low, not a damn thing wrong with the truck.
@@2004LIGHTNING 🤣🤣🤣
4 cylinder...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yup, that's where I'm at with these prices... should be a v8 😁
You are aware that the v8 is a gas guzzler and weighs a ton so unless you have drove one of these in a 2.7 you would be surprised how good they are
@@thebayharborbutcher9115 2.7 does not provide the growl of 5.0.
Not to mention low hanging suspension parts that hit rocks .
It’s a convertible 4runner basically.
with leaky roof and guaranteed rusty floor pan in a few years. Other than that its a fantastic car.
Jeep is better period
Better at what? Because every jeep I have been in feels like a sardine box but do you
@@thebayharborbutcher9115 at just about everything
Besides rock crawling jeeps are terrible 😂 but good try
I see a lot of the Nancy’s like jeeps I wouldn’t waste my money on fiat
you dont need a K on your shirts. Thats dumb. Dont be dumb. We know the channel we watch, dont need K on your clothes. seriously guys
Once you look at the undercarriage, that’s when you realize how badly designed it is. Jeep JL/JT ain’t much better.
What do you mean by that?
It snaps tie rod ends like tooth picks…breaks steering racks and blows differentials. Buy a Jeep Rubicon if you actually go “wheelin”!
What are your sources for this information? Got Receipts?
Bronco holds up decently in stock form. Many of the people who have had problems are running larger than stock tires and aftermarket suspension lifts. I agree, that if stock does not cut it for you, the Wrangler is a better platform to modify.
Wrangler is better in the rocks and the Bronco is better in the dunes/high speed.
Over-done. Tie rod damage is very very rare and there is a kit from Ford for beefier ones for those who want it. Bigger issue with this and Wrangler is leaky roof and future rust issues.
Buy a garbage jeep rubicon that doesn't leave the service centre and catches fire or breaks the axle , differential and shaft everytime on road not even trails , man you garbage jeep owners are something really hard. That's the wheeling if you talking about I agree buy a garbage jeep
I still rather have a jeep
