On rangfinders just turn the camera to the right not the left, takes a bit of getting used to, but works great, this comming from a almost balding cap wearing guy 😊
Awesome video Joe! It's cool to see someone doing this in Colorado. I shoot 120 every week RMNP. There is a never ending amount to shoot there as you start exploring deeper. Keep up these videos; they are getting better every time!
Just gotta say that you've been one of my biggest inspirations for the last few years. Absolutely thrilled you're posting again right around when I'm about to go into college.
Love the work you're putting out in youtube! Would be great to have a series/video dedicated to those wanting to dabble/start with film and explaining all those technical details
b of course he had to! Otherwise the film would just be underexposed. He probable told the lab to push it + 1 stop. The lab knows how to handle the rest in the development!
@@collinyung7225 I just noticed he shot portra 400 at 800 which means that he underexposed it. Probably in order to get a better shutter speed. People normally overexpose to get those flat colours everyone likes.
Bro I just casually looked up how much it would cost to buy that camera and JEEZUS! I was not expecting that. I’ll stick to my $35 fujica from the thrift store
Dude love your vids- I shoot medium format film in the surf and I did a little vid. Should watch it. Keep up the great work ruclips.net/video/_i7o4DfMj70/видео.html
flipping the bill of your cap to look into the viewfinder is something I can relate to.
NonchalantGarage yeah man i feel that
Me too!! The struggles of wearing a hat as a photographer.

The most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The camera and the film are not bad either. Inspiring video. :)
do you develop your film yourself or do you take it to a lab?
my only question is - where is that hat from tho?
Great video! I really dig that you didn’t cut the hilarious scene in the car at the beginning LOL
Hi, did you push the film in camera or in processing

Love this channel!
Cool !!!!
did you tell the lab to develop the portra 400 (pushed to 800) normally or with more time?
b of course he had to! Otherwise the film would just be underexposed. He probable told the lab to push it + 1 stop. The lab knows how to handle the rest in the development!
Do you use a light meter?

Like the talking dead style after the video 👍🏿
so good
fire alarm just sounded in my notifications!!!

Did you say you pushed half of the 400 to 800? I didn't think that was possible. I thought you have to push the entire roll or nothing at all.
My Mamiya 7II is matte as hell, how is yours so shiny?
What does the +1 below portra 400 mean?
appleshampoo ahh okay, thanks!
