I can’t wait to start October 2nd. I’ve done the DadBod program, Swole program, and I’m 6 weeks in the functional athlete program right now. I’ve dropped 63lbs over that time and gained a ton of strength & mobility back that I’ve lost over the years. I love the programming!! FC has turned my life around over the past 6/7months. I feel like a completely different person. I have so much more energy for my family and to do the things I love, especially golfing with my teenage boys. I can’t say enough good things. I’m looking forward to the program and being part of FC.😁💪🏼

It’s awesome to see your body progress throughout your life and how your training has changed aswell. Always working hard and staying true to yourself.

Let’s go Steve! As I’m about to hit my mid 30s, I’m developing more interest and passion in functional strength and athleticism over just looking big. Call it hybrid athleticism or whatever you want, I just think maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system and being able to use your muscles and strength in a functional way trumps looking good but feeling like crap. 😂 I’m eager to try some of these exercises!

I'm so damn hyped about this series, Steve!! I know that you had variations of training but i feel like you're truly built like an "always prepared athlete." I've always loved that mindset and i used to always train that way. It made it much more fun. I've gotten away from that over the years but this is huge motivation to get back into this type of conditioning. Thank you, Steve! I'm buying this program. Can't wait for the next vlog.

Good stuff man, love seeing the transition to versatile training like this that checks off all the boxes to keep people as well rounded athletes.
Have you considered incorporating resistance band training into the program?
I have used the rubber band style ones for things like push ups and sit ups to make the workouts more difficult without adding weight to support fast twitch muscles and keep the muscle fully engaged to avoid rest positions.
Keep it up! Looking forward to checking this program out

Such an interesting comment, even when I was competing, I trained like an athlete- with one day a week of swimming or track work, one day a week of hot yoga. Rarely just walked on the treadmill. Clearly haven’t tried any of our programs.
