    • @zigzagkillah7666
      @zigzagkillah7666 Год назад

@@perfrchandersen4853 well , there is some truth to what they are saying. Your pilot skill rating isn't just based upon your KDR. that is only a fraction of it. I have 2 accounts. One I play serious and one I Smurf around on. My serious one is a pretty baseline KDR, it's pretty low. But it's Pilot Skill rating is a Tier 2/1, I float between the two.
My Smurf account has a high KDR 3- 4.5, but floats between tier 4-6. Depending on how reckless I get.
The game takes into account of how much "teamwork" you contributed, in certain aspects of damage and shared damage. If you are just trying to Rambo it, in and amongst your team, and not really coordinate, then those scores will be low as well.
Anyone can run around and wait to pick of the weakest mech. that doesn't make you a good pilot. Anyone can build an assault with basically a 2 button kill alpha, that doesn't make you a good pilot.
Contributing across the board, does. All these RUclipsrs and Streamers do one thing very well - work with the team as much as possible. And when it's a wash, they turn it into great content. But all the really good games (beside the clutch games and imbalanced pilot skill ratings where people just get slaughtered) are all teamwork based, or team oriented.
TTB might be a solo player, but he utilizes the team as much as possible in a team fashion. It's what helps him succeed.
So, what I am saying is, maybe it's because you are trying to hard to solo it, and not be a team player. I speak from experience. I used to attempt to solo Rambo it... and got nowhere and was always in the lower tiers. then I started my other account and started playing WITH the teams given. And my Tier shot up within a week. Once I understood the synergy in the teams, it all made sense.
And as you go up in tier, the game changes. Radically. Better pilots, with better mech builds, and better strategy. It's literally a different "feel" to the game once you get above tier 3.
And this is my favorite area to play. Tier 2-3. Because you aren't playing against 100% sweaties, and you aren't playing with any fresh people. Tier 2-3 I believe is where most good casual players, who enjoy the game actually are.
BUT I also love just crashin and bashin, so I keep my lower tier account for that as well.
MWO has a problem with match making because of the low population it has and its complex Pilot Rating system it utilizes. I think when the pop is too low, it goes directly to "mech score" and tries to even it out as much as possible.
Also, time of day is a thing to consider if you are trying to go up in tier as well. Certain times of day are more less, better or worse, to play during too.

I think the tracking itself isn't suspicious alone. I mean have you seen Overwatch Tracer Pro players? Way faster gameplay and they manually track extremely fast moving targets with extreme precision. But the component switching is quite unusual and suspicious. But what really get's me to believe that this could be an aimbot is that usually someone with such a high skill level in tracking wouldn't be so hard out of position. I mean it's clear to me that this needs to be investigated but it's not a 100% for me. Especially because we don't get a 1:1 Replay with where that person really aimed at.

I make them usually from 20 metyers out to as far as 300 or so. 300 being rarer with 100 to 150 being the sweet spot. And I do realize a certain amount of luck involved. A few times taking the shot I would hit the head and go "Really? I got lucky" because of distance or movement or what have you in battle interfering with such a precision shot.
But for over 6 months now at least once a month either a headshot kill or an attempted headshot (my head turns yellow but no cigar) and most times I am running my main form of mech which is one of my Direwolves. Worse over the last few months I noticed it coming form members of a certain group even. These are typically 700 m or more distance headshots the last one yesterday coming from someone at the time 900m away. Of the certain team of course. That one really irritated me as first the attempt. Head is yellow. So then I engage a bit more and 4 min later boom second headshot connects and I am done and the kill is by someone from that certain group/team. I am running a Dire with the tartan camo with lots of yellows and a yellow decal flag over the whole nose inc cockpit also colored yellow. At over 700 m was the second shot... On Caustic. Yeah. Yellow camo and yellow decals on Caustic at over 700 m while I am moving and twisting battling with a closer mech about 300 m away and this guy nails mu head at long range. I was in Faction and was my first mech in a deck of 4. Kinda took the wind outta m y sails there. Did ok after, but your left wondering the rest of the longggg Faction drops, why? I could be getting groceries, changing the oil on my car or playing any other game so why am I wasting time dealing with cheating when in a year I haven't even seen Piranha address the issue now that it is here?
For the last 6 months now I have even been in drops with several players calling out the insane long headshots on people on my pug drop team. They are so bold now as to be dropping 2 or 3 players with stupid long range headshots in the 700 to 1000 m range. On the few times it has happened that the offending player responds it of course is some "Git gud" remark against the victims.

Looking at the situation @7:48 frame by frame, when he claims the aim "snaps" to components. I haven't played MWO in years, so I don't remember what all the HUD elements are. I assume the blue square is the actual cursor. The cursor swipes the Crab, and spends total of 2 frames on the arm, then swipes the legs of the smaller mech, spending only ONE frame on the right leg. And yet he calls out this single frame by saying "snap", as if he has just presented the murder weapon with fresh bloody fingerprints.
I'm certain that I could take replay footage from any of you, slow it down, and say the word "snap" every time your cursor hits a component of an enemy mech. And here is the kicker... EVERY part of a mech is SOME component. And if your cursor doesn't stay perfectly on a specific component, then I can go "see how he is toggling between components".
This isn't compelling evidence, unless you are already itching for a good ol' witch hunt and a lynching.

I've never actually seen an aimbot before, so I really couldn't judge. Having said that, parts of that did seem pretty suspicious. I guess it's inevitable that some people will cheat... but in a game with a PSR/ELO mechanic they're just making life for themselves more difficult. I'm not at all surprised that someone who cheats would run an all ERLL build.
Having watched it again, I notice that while you're watching frame by frame the reticule is _continually_ switching between components within just a few frames (fractions of a second). Tier 1 players might reliably accomplish that with a stationary target, I find it difficult to believe that anyone might do it reliably with a target that's not only dodging horizontally but also vertically.
The pilot has 2 of 3 weapons ready to fire while totally cold (ie very much a thing that people who are not proficient with the game do) while he has a near perfect back shot lined up. He then switches to an arm and shoots right past the mech, with what seems to me to be a delayed reaction or perhaps just trusting that the aimbot would hold the lock while he finally realised that he had a viable shot (likely because it was tracking faster than he could make decisions).
The fact that his lightning reflexes don't match up with his methods and decisions to shoot are inarguably incongruous. One can't both have split second, hyper-accurate reflexes in one kind of control and not in another within the same kind of physical movement and mental faculty within the same infinitesimal time frames.

Mmm..i don't know. I find this weird. I could do better than this guy did with his supposed cheats. Comes off to me as someone new being panicked and/or indecisive.
Slowed down it looked more suspicious, yeah but honestly you can make anything look sketchy when slowed like that.

So does this mean that there no anti cheat system in MWO, also if people are paying real money to support comp play is this a issue that needs to be addressed immediately?

No anti cheat. Considering that games like Helldivers 2 got review bombed for having anti cheat, I'd like the audience for these games to make up their minds, you can't avoid cheaters either way but why put filth on your PC?

Recently I saw a "Catapult" with 2*HGauss (there was a premaid of 4 "Catapults" in that match with similar pilot names), which placed at least several cockpit hits at complex-moving targets. 🤦‍♂ Morons never learn.

Why would you want to use aim bots for big stompy robots? Just learn the controls!

I've have been eliminated 2 times with 1 shot. Fully armored assault mech. Isn't it cheating?

Depends on where you were hit and with which weapons.

@@TTBprime really? Tell me if it is possible to eliminate an Atlas with 1 shot in the back. I'm tired of this game in which a scout mech can make so much damage jumping and running like a chicken. So many cowards hidden behind pay-to-win mechs
