To be fair, advanced zoom can be a little wonky sometimes. I would recommend that he get the ASP module for the head and have one less heat sink. That can get regular zoom up to a magnification of near advanced zoom levels, but without the weird interface.
Heh, I always get a laugh out of SHS builds. I was first introduced to them with the phrase 'They said I could boat anything, so I boated Single Heatsinks'. It was on a Laser Vomit Banshee, and it was really cold running for a laser build. SHS builds always make me giggle when I see them.
i ran into a SR built like this, scariest thing ever, my 147 kph Phoenix hawk dodged those lasers and never peeked again. LOL this is why i run super speed PHX Hawk :D i'm a shinobi on the battlefield.
Now that the new patch is out, I want you to grab a Locust 1M, stuff it with 2 Thunderbolt 5s and tick all the range, cooldown and velocity nodes. 800m range TBs with 495m/s and like 1.6s reload on such a fast platform is stupidly funny. Difficult to play yes, but an absolute gremlin of a mech
I love the 1M I have played with all of it's missile builds and I think until the Tbolts get a bonus ammo quirk adjustment in a quirk pass or something it just falls short of running twin Lrm Artemis 5 with a tag. Still a fun build but I just think the Artemis build is actually easier to play and has more survivability with the locusts speed, over 1149m of range and with a much larger ammo count youre also able to put out more potential damage while still being able to hunt CTs similarly to the thunderbolts.
i dont know how you manage to sit up there for so long before getting shot back. I can do that on a locust and as soon as i peak the ridge 2-3 people already trying to burn me down from 800m,lol.
Can you do a speedy papercutter? Max Micro pulses, max er small and max sm pulse. (ie. Max before ghost heat) should be a nasty backstabber. The alpha should be awesome.
I feel you on not liking advanced zoom. I don't like it either. I do try to use a targeting computer or if inner sphere, advanced targeting. So your regular zoom is more effective. And you get beam range
The way MWO implemented advanced zoom is borked imho. In every other game I've ever played with a zoom, it lowers your sensitivity after the zoom so that the distance your cursor traverses per mouse move feels about the same relative to your screen size. It's consistent. In MWO, it literally only doubles the size of the center of your view and changes NOTHING ELSE. That means your aiming reticle moves twice as far relative to the rest of the screen for the save mouse movement, and it throws your muscle memory hard unless you take the time to train on it.
Hey Bara, if you want an excuse to play the Hunchback-4G again, try the cavalry mech version: Light engine 275, Ultra AC20 w/ 4 tons of ammo and a med Pulse laser (+ endo & ferro) A90920h0|Qg|9P|9PpX0|O@qX0r80sH0t`0|9Pu`0|9Pv@0|c?w808080 great for poking in the mainline but also flanking and very good at hunting lone assaults. The Ammo is a small concern though you have to have a little trigger dicipline :D
ONLY 8 LASERS!!! WEAKNESS!!!!!!!
But seriously, gg xD.
Baradul: I won't take zoom, it's not my thing.
Also Baradul: I can't see anything.

He must have very good eyesight because I couldn’t spot most of those long range targets he was shooting, at especially in the first match.
Baradul calling us "everybody" and not MechWarriors in the beginning of this video was the biggest set back of 2024.
Blame goblin stone 😂
We're all goblins now....
Instantly paused the video to go to the comment section because of that "everybody"😂.
That just didn't sound right🤷🏼♂️
Such is life. Cope.
13:55 Front LT hit but damage was transfered to rear.
Haha glad I got to work against you up top in the Grasshopper. Was a good duel
Just to confirm, you took and used zoom right? ;)
@incognito4267 absolutely I did. Not for all poptarting shots. But to lead shots at 900m+ it is mandatory.
Bara in here running a mech whose HEAT SINKS weigh more than most entire light mechs

I like the Diablo 1 quote that is often used by Baradul, yet i don't think he ever once shared any Diablo content.
Damn. Missed it. What did he sneak in there from D1?
@@Zen-Lion "stay a while and listen!"
Something about Baradul's first threat being a Charger 1A1 with small lasers just seems especially funny to me.
Happy Birthday Bara my man🎉🎉 enjoy your day with your family 🎉
The 1A1 at 07:00 aimed like a drunken fraggle😂
if you dont like the ADV zoom, maybe replace 1 heat sink and some armor with ASP ?
Have you tried Advanced Sensor Package? What do you think?

I love the stone rhino's shape. I love shield arms.
I have a Kodiak with pretty much the same build. I thought it would be funny. I didn't expect it to be effective :D
This is what makes MWO fun: You can build a mech matching your taste.
i dont know how you manage to sit up there for so long before getting shot back.

lol same! I can NEVER sit in sniper spots for more than a few seconds before I either get shot or swarmed by a wolf pack…
thanks for the video!
It reminds me my MAD-4A with 8xLL.
With groups:
1). 3xLL (LA);
2). 5xLL (RT+RA);
3). 3xLL (RT).

13:34 You can run the ASP on clan mechs now can't you? If you are not running adv zoom an ASP would be a good substitute
Always love your videos. When will we see Mechwarrior 5 again?

advanced zoom and chain fire right and left side for peeking.
"Hätte, hätte, Fahrradkette" 😂
I'm guessing the 10 weapons were recommended so you could perk range instead of cooldown.
Bingo, but I will admit it's quite hot lol
the heat level is hot
Looks like the M.A.C. II Monster from Macross / Robotech ;) (I know. hush)
It's too fast to be a M.A.C II / Monster though. 😅
Luvverly lazerz there...
How about stone rhino sr7 with only plasma cannons since they made them generate less heat now
Did not feel good, cannot recommend atleast after few matches
Better than beam laser thats for sure.
wub wub with the flank. so close
Who else caught the diablo reference?

Need the stone rino for Cbills already ffs!
Ha typical wub gameplay at 6:50
Try FAFNIR J whit 6.RAC2 IS INSANE
That's a LOT of heat sinks...are you sure you're not just a heat sink transport mech?
I'm sad about my beam laser builds :c
not using advanced zoom on a build like this is weird man
Hello "everybody"?!
And why is your background that bright?
Are you all right?🤔😅
Rating.
