  • Star Bag time! This viral crochet star bag has been going around for a bit, but I always see it woth huge gaps and thin straps. ain this Crochet Tutorial, I show you how to make your own Crochet Star Bag without any of the holes that lead to things faling out. The decorative mini holes still line the star points, but the ones that lead to stuff falling out are all taken care of. Plus, the strap is thick and crocheted on to be sturdy. This is a beginner’s tutorial, but can be followed by everyone due to how easy it is. This project is quick, so sit down and enjoy!!

      @faith.wisest  6 дней назад

      Hi! I can absolutely help you. So the row that you were doing first I told you to add 2 dc after you make the points. The points themselves are adding more stitches to the next row if that makes sense. So when you’re on row 3, you would need to dc 4 times, make your point, then dc 4 more times. In the next row, you would dc 6 times. That number goes up by 2 each row. I hope that helps!

    • @faith.wisest
      @faith.wisest  Месяц назад

      Thank you! It shouldn't stretch too much because we minimized the holes by using the magic ring at the start and we made a sturdy strap! Of course if you load up of the bag to the point where you are pushing it out of shape it'll stretch a little, but a phone and wallet combo hasn't stretched mine at all!

    Hi there! So for each row after you do a point, you skip 3 then 2 to make that divet. I’m on my third row and I’m wondering do I need to continue to skip 2? Or does does it decrease by one each time and I only skip one?

    • @faith.wisest

      @@Sxnny_lavender Hey! don’t worry about the skip three after that row. that was just to set it up the shape! Is there anything I can do to better explain? I know a lot of people have trouble with the magic ring, I have another video that real breaks down all of the steps if you are brand new to crochet!! To give you a brief explanation though, once you make the ring itself, you will already have 1 loop on you hook, afterwards, you chain 2 from the loop you made. Then, the point of the magic ring is to double crochet inside of it! It is a bit hard to explain in text, so I recommend slowing down the video or watching my beginner vid!

    • @BlueAii
      @BlueAii Месяц назад +1

      Double crochet into the loop, push them together so they’re nice and uniform on the loop and you can easily count them. It took me like three tries to understand it. I kept running out of room on my loop and just started crocheting over the dc I had already done and it looked a mess.
