- Solina came today and first demo also done now.
Here is three part demonstration. Only Solina's fx used.
Part one: Contrabass, Cello, Viola, Violin, Modulation and Phaser.
Part two: Contrabass, Cello, Trumpet, Horn, Modulation and Phaser.
Part three: All sounds together with Modulation and Phaser.
Tune 0, color up and rate 40 %. Korg microKONTROL midi keys for Solina.
Roland Go:Mixer Pro mixing desk connected to Sony FDR-AX43A video camera. Composed, played live, arranged and improvised by me in Studio Tupos 8.6.2023. Nr. 899.
Tilasin Behringer Solina String-Enseblen jokin aika sitten. Toimitus viivästyi noin viikolla, mutta tänään se saapui vihdoin kotiin ja pitihän se heti tyypittää. Tässäpä kolmeosainen demoilu. Kaikki soundit Solinasta. Korg microKONTROL midikoskettimina, Roland Go:Mixer Pro summasi soundit ja lähetti ne Sony FDR-AX43A videokameralle.
How they re-engineered a Solina into a desktop module while keeping the phat phat sound intact, well done Behringer designers!

Agree as an original eminent solina owner. They have done a great job & with the added phaser it sounds great 👍
Just got mine. Plays well in the sandbox with my Blofeld, Hydrasynth, and Deepmind.

I have Strymon Mobius pedal. In the Chorus effect section there's different modes. The mode "multi" is completely imitates solina ensemble chorus!!! (With few other adjustments of level, depth, rate, and tone. Tweak it and you'll nail the exact solina tone!!!
Must check it, I also have Mobius pedal.

This kind of synthesis is pretty much unique to the Solina. It has so much potential, it's kin,da shameful that nobody tried to build upon it.

Is it designed to be racked? I see front midi and power. What about audio jacks?
Yes with Behringer Eurorack Ears 70HP for 19" rack, the front out doubles as audio out or phones 3.5 mm (1/8") TRS stereo
Backside of Solina is audio out mono 6,3 mm jack and 3,5 mm stereo out in panel which I used. Also Eurorack size too.
What about build quality?
In that price very good.

Can we hear it without the bloody phaser? I had a Small Stone in the 1980s - I KNOW how it sounds! 🙄
