Maybe 30 seconds before the pitch, told my wife, who knows nothing about him, that “Freddie’s a good guy, he deserves something good to happen to him especially after all he’s been through this year”. I know “deserve” has nothing to do with it (ie Nestor didn’t deserve to be put in that situation by that idiot manager of his), but so happy it worked out for Freeman. When I look at the Dodger players, I really don’t see any dbags (eg Chisholms, Machados, Verdugos)…fans are another story…but all teams have those.
Was there for Game 1, was sitting next to a Yankees fan and I told him when the Dodgers came up in the bottom of the tenth that they were going to walk it off, he said no way, I was certain it would be Shohei, but it turned out to be Freddie, an utterly incredible moment, and I was there, praise Jesus, God bless Freddie Freeman, and let’s go Dodgers 💙❗️
2024 was such an inspirational season from so many perspectives. I'm so happy for Freddie and his family. Well deserved victory - but this is underscored by the intense perseverance demonstrated by this 2024 Dodger team (and organization). Well done team!⚾🤜💥🤛⚾
you wonder if this is what its all about... Freddie has be on the circuit for a bit now... I know for me its hard to constantly rehash the old time with my grandpa, but I do - its my grandpa and you only get that for a short time. So is it kinda like that with Freddie? you only get to talk about magic with the world for a short time these days, enjoy it Freddie.
