- In today's top 5/10 mario video we are going to look at the origin, secrets, timeline, story, lore, mysteries and history of the enemies, bosses and others in the super mario series made by nintendo. Throughout the years there have been a lot mario games like super mario world, super mario 64, super mario sunshine, new super mario bros, new super mario bros wii, super mario 3d land, super mario 3d world, super mario run, super mario bros 3 and not too long ago they released the new super mario odyssey for the nintendo switch which has all kinds of new characters like cappy and locations like the sand kingdom, new donk city and bowsers kingdom. In these games we have seen enemies like the goomba, koopa troopa, pirhana plant, bullet bill, thwomp, hammer bros, broodals, koopalings, bowser jr and a lot more. However which minion of bowser that keeps helping him kidnap princess peach and stop luigi, mario, toad and the others is the worst? The most hated? Well let's find out!

10. Complains about design being pointless, despite basically being an underwater goomba.
9. Complains about balloon goomba because "why not paragoomba?"
8. Complains about cat bullet bill because "should be more original"
To sum these up, nothing wrong with the enemy, just somewhat unoriginal.
7. Mr I. "It's a boring filler enemy"
I can see that.
6. Manta Ray from SM64, "The rings are frustrating to get through"
It's not even an enemy. Also, this is a game design complaint, not an enemy complaint.
5. Heeve-hoos can "Sometimes move really weird which can hurt you" no they really don't. They also "sometimes stop, which is annoying when trying to line us a shot" which is a feature included to make it less annoying and easier to get around.
4. Swoopers in SM64 are "hard to deal with" while showing footage of easily dealing with them.
3. "Everything about the baby chomps from their barking to the flames is annoying!" Maybe navigating them is the only annoying thing. Only if you hate dogs would their "barking" be annoying.
2. "The ducks from Super Mario Sunshine are annoying" Yea. They are.
1. The sun from Super Mario 3. Low hanging fruit.
Overall, poorly constructed list where I still don't know what he means by "Worst" enemies. Worst in originality? Worst as in too hard? Worst as in too easy? Worst as in both too hard and too easy?

That Sun always annoyed me and freaked me out when I was a kid. However the angry sun is not the most annoying in my opinion. Like so many people I freaking hate the hammer brothers.

actually you can argue that the whole purpose of the cat bullet bill is it being fun is the idea of making a cat shaped missile not fun also it isn't lazy quite the opposite if they were lazy they'd of just used the existing red bullet bills or just made the regular ones flash red
Yeah, I personally agree. It's not meant to be a new enemy, it's just supposed to be like "aw it has cat ears that's a cute touch." Same with the balloon goomba - not really meant to be a new enemy, just a goomba flying towards you with a balloon for one stage.

Angry Sun is one of my favorites enemies ;-;
Angry Sun definitly added a new layer of challenge to levels which normally would be just side scrolling and jumping. It's hard to kill but it's attack pattern if fairly predictible since after every 3 rotations it swoops towards Mario in a curve which you can time to avoid it as long as you have some patience and don't rush through the level so it makes you play the level differently as well. Angry Sun probably topped because of salt and frustration since no solid argument was given why it's the worst.

Some of these complaints seem to stem more from disliking the overall level design rather than disliking the enemy itself (ex. manta & chain chomplets). Also, the way you described the angry sun other than just saying it's annoying makes it sound like you think the enemy provides a challenge instead of thinking it's annoying. For the swoops, you talk about them being annoying to deal with and show footage of them being easily taken out. You say the cat bullet bills are lazy, but wouldn't it be more lazy to just use the bullseye bills again? They likely used the cat ears and tail to tie the game together thematically. Overall, a pretty bad list.
Not to mention Mr. I is useful he has blue coins and can be hard if t aren't cerful.

The swopers are not really bad enimes your just not that good at beating them
I never had a problem dealing with them. The times I got hit by them while completing Mario 64 can be counted on 1 hand.

When I was a toddler, the Evil Sun was the first thing I can recall ever being scared of. I'd make my Dad beat the levels with him in it for me. Everything else was fine, just that sun scared me for some reason.

Wait, why do you play the games if you don't like this many enemies? They add the challenge, and challenge is the reason people at least used to play games -- for a challenge and as a learning experience of some kind. The first fish you'd mentioned are like the green shelled koopas and the other ones are the red shelled ones.

bullseye bills are only seen in 2d mario games and the cat bullet bills are there to fit the theme for cats in 3d world similar to the hats in mario odyssey

The fishing boos from Super Mario World always got on my nerves. They make it difficult to jump, and thus, near impossible to dodge obstacles.
I didn’t think that anyone else agreed with the fact that the angry sun is the WORST enemy in the entire Mario franchise. It is truly the worst.

Let's see:
10: Technically this behavior existed since the original Super Mario Bros, so it's nothing new.
9: Pretty much wasted potential, and the want of recycled enemies.
8: Same as 9. In fact, it would be more lazy to use recycled enemies instead of an old enemy with a twist, which is why Honey Queen is worse than Pink Gold Peach.
7: There are two things you forgot about this. 1, they shoot projectiles, basically acting like a still sentry, and 2, they are recycled Mr. Blizzards. Heck! They both start with Mr.
6: Can you consider this an enemy? That's like saying that Koopa the Quick is an enemy. I guess as long as it hurts you on contact.
5: Yeah! Out of Wet Dry World and Tick Tock Clock, Heave Ho's are only really helpful in Wet Dry World. You also say that it's the worst, despite the fact that we're only just over half way through this video.
4: Why did you mention Zelda if Zelda is a completely different series than Mario? You're comparing a Mario enemy to a Zelda enemy. And yes, I am aware that some stuff in Zelda are shared in Mario like the Chain Chomps. That's like comparing a Kirby enemy to a Yoshi's Island enemy.
3: Basically you say that they sound annoying and their behaviors are annoying. Why did you put that on Number 3?
2: Basically Heave Ho's but you take damage. You should've put them near the Heave Ho's spot.
1: You can predict what the Angry Sun can do. When they go in a circle, that means they are about to swoop down. Also, technically they are also seen in Super Mario All Stars too.
Basically this list is bad because it doesn't have a fixed theme. Some enemies are said to be too easy, some are just too hard, and ere is some that doesn't even fit these two aforementioned explanations.
