This was a great vlog Johno. Thanks to the dairy farmer for sharing his business. Loved the drone footage of the 'Great Australian Bight' Happy Australia Day Johno [26th of January 2024]
Awesome. Thanks Clayton

Happy Australia Day Johnno to you and your family, absolutely Incredible video so beautiful, reminds me how beautiful Australia is, thankyou very much for sharing with us all ❤Cheers🍺🍻🍺🍻 KC 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎✌👍
Thanks again.
Naturally continued here. Fantastic insights again. But please, don't worry about what you can show "special" - just do it! We don't have problems watching you drive down a highway/road for the x-th time. That's why we're here!!! You do a great job on all this. 👏 👍🐺🙂
Thanks Dirk. I like to show interesting stuff and seeing the same road over and over does get boring. When possible I want to show new stuff.
You DO, Johnno! 🙂@@RoadTrainAdventures
👍
Thanks you Johnno, for the video of your trip to the Dairy Farm and Brusselton, for an old guy who grew up on a farm in NZ it was very interesting

Awesome video Johnno👍👍👍 when I was a little kid growing up on a farm in Texas. My mom used to tell me I called them moo dogs😂😂😂. Thanks for sharing.
Ha ha. Very nice. Thanks Raymond

Ha ha. I try to make it look professional.
Utterly fantastic Johnno😊

Awesome. Thanks heaps
That was Awesome about the milking cows. Great vid 👌🇦🇺
Awesome. I'm glad you liked it
Great video Johno and great to see you back in the saddle.
Thanks. It's kind of good to be back. Miss my kids again.
Wow, what an enjoyable video. I a former Victorian cow cocky who sold out back in the nineties. One of my first jobs was driving for Boof or Craig in Deni for two years at rice and wheat harvests. hows he going? Its 25 years back now. You bring back a lot of memories me, thank you.
Wow. Well I'm actually in Deniliquin right now. I'm lying in bed, ready to go to sleep. I'll be leaving for Perth early in the morning.
Lovely oceans
Thanks Rachel
Great work Jono thanks mate I hope the farmer gets good money for his hard work
Yes me too. The farm has been around for a long time so I would think he gets by.
Hi Johnno, loved this 💜 the opening of the video was breathtaking.
My husband and I were dairy farmers in nw Tassie. We enjoy seeing other farms
Oh wow. Very good. Thanks Karen
Another great vlog Johnno and what a lovely dairy farmer!
Very good. Thanks Trevor
Great video Johnno,it takes me back to my younger days ,I used to milk 200 cows twice a day, 12 days on 2 days off
Wow. Glad I could share it with you.
Thankyou always enjoy your content.
Good to see you catching up with Kenny the other day
Thanks for your vids
Awesome. Thanks again Richard
I enjoyed the dairy visit greatly. It reminded me of visiting one of my dad's friends' dairy farm sporadically over many years when growing up. First, the cows would come into a grassy milking paddock and stand in the same place for milking by hand. Later they made bales on concrete floors, where the cows would come for feed and be milked by hand. Lastly they had milking machines added to the milking bales. Such slow progress over many years. No milk was sold, the separated cream was sold for butter making and the skim milk fed the calves and pigs and used for home consumption. Just a small family dairy farm.
Thanks Alan for your story. This farmer sells all his milk to Bega.
Great opening Johnno, Happy Australia Day/Night to you all, Hope you all had a great day.
Thanks Gary. I spent the day editing that video but then went out with dad for a myall before getting some drone footage of the fireworks. I may put it up next time.
Happy Australia Day to you too 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Alan
Have spent alot of time in that area. Have a mate that lives just out of Bunbury. Have been there five times in the last 12 years. Keep on trucking !!!!
Awesome. Thanks Fraser
Hi Johno, great story on Australia Day showing hard working Aussies getting on with it, no public holiday for this crew and no protesters in site. These farmers across the country have been doing it tough for many years no thanks to the two supermarkets that are systematically destroying a way of life with their price gouging tactics.
No medals here for the Dairy Farmers, but there should be . But on a lighter note well done on an informative and interesting video.
Thanks Tony. This farmer sells his milk to Bega so maybe he does OK.
Cows have got a better view then us 😂❤😊
No doubt
Thanks Johnno, another awesome video with excellent pictures and a great story of the dairy farm - well done and keep up the great work.👍👍
Thanks Garry. We will see what my next project is.
Fancy finding your old truck, it lives in a shed now so it will last forever. A lot of trucks finish up on farms. Just a little snippet, dairy cows are creatures of habit, they will go through and get milked in about the same order every milking. Jeff
Yes Jeff. I never expected to see my first truck there.
Thanks Johnno, happy Australia Day to you too. Jeff
Thanks Jeff
Good one
Thanks Jonathan
Welcome back. We missed ya mate.
Thanks Darren.
Wow !
Very nice. Thanks
Hi Johno, I remember seeing the very first rotary milking machine (called a Rotolactor) in the 1960's as a very young child at Menangle, Southern Highlands of NSW, I think it was built in the 1950's. Stay safe out there, cheers, Garry
Very good. You all have! Experience than I do in regards to dairy.
Dairy farmer from Ireland very interesting job no keep it up 👍
Awesome. Thanks Teresa
Happy Australia Day Johno good to see you celebrating Australia Day, nice footage of the coast, I bet you can still smell them cows, its not bad but it does linger on.😂
Thanks Tony. Oh for the farm smell
@ROADTRAINADVENTURES

Thanks again chair's m yes the story on the farm was great.
Great video Johnno. Very informative.
Thanks Damien
Greatest trucking vlog Johno. Nice and clear video, great stuff. Would you do a camera angle on passenger side headrest looking towards you and the front if that possible. It’ll be nice to see changing gear while doing uphill. Thanks mate
Yes I plan on doing a video on me changing gears. I'm just not sure when I'm going to do that. Since those soon.
good one Johno,
entertaining to watch the milking setup. happy new year, don't let Ken lead U astray now. Jim, Rye Prk ,Nsw
k
Thanks Jim. No Ken and I help each other out.
❤❤❤
Thanks Jessica
Takes me back to my youth. I grew up dairy. Knew the industry well. I have milked a lot of cows. Mostly Friesian or Holstein crosses. Never used a rotary parlour. Abreast. Or Herringbone, like he used to have. But not the rotary. He didn't seem to have much grass, when you visited. Hand feeding the herd. In the UK the cows are in all Winter, so you have to feed them. It is great when the time comes to let them out and graze. Lot less work. The thing with dairy, it is non stop. 365 days a year. You can get so involved, you do nothing else. After working 70 to 100 hours a week indefinitely. The only other things you do, are eat and sleep. But I loved it. Away from people. Out in nature. The huge variety of jobs. Tractor work etc. But the money can be poor. The prospect of finding a partner, often low. Having any other life but dairy farming. I got out. Glad I did. But bits of me still miss it.
Wow. You certainly make it sound like it's a lifestyle, like trucking. It did sound like it is pretty loud consuming.
Thank you, Johnno some good drone footage there catch you on the flip side.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome. Thanks again Wayne
Kia ora driver johnno great video worthy of an academy
Very nice. Thanks Denver
G’day Johno,
Welcome to 2024, Happy Australia Day & great drone footage of the coast.
Had to laugh when you complained running way behind what do you expect hanging out at a dairy farm all day but it was worth it.
Remind me when I was a sales rep for a stock feed company helped out p,entry of times in a rotary dairy you have to be ready to get your hands dirty.
Couple of times got squirted on by a friesian but my fav cows were always jersey cows those beautiful eyes they have.
Stay safe shiny side up rubber side down for 2024.
Cheers
Louis Kats 👍
Thanks Louis. It must seem like a while since I put out a new video. I guess it's good to be back in one sense.
Time to start making some new videos. I'm trying to find up with his stories to cover.
@@RoadTrainAdventures
👍
Very good
Another hour south in augusta and you could have caught up with me johno I mean mr roadtrain 😛😛😛
Thanks Dustin. That would have been great to travel around down there now.
Gday Johnno, thanks for the trip mate, some great drone shots and a visit to the dairy and no bull!
Hope ‘24 is a safe and happy year for you and the rest of the blokes carting our supplies around the island.🇦🇺
Bro nice. Thanks Graham. You have an awesome and safe year too.
Hi from Busselton loved your video
Oh awesome. Thanks
Heppy Aussie day John, just loved the footage of the high Nullabore cliffs on a very carm day, wonderfull.
Happy Australia Day to you too 🚚🚚🚚🚚🚚
Thanks Ross
You too Alan
lived half of my life on a family dairy and I miss the cows. You finding your old ride was a good ending
Yes. That was amazing
Nice one
Thanks Wayne
What a fantastic video Johnno. Hope you had a good Australia Day. So looking forward to my holiday in Perth in October but it will come around very quickly. Thanks for the farm tour, cows are such beautiful animals
Thanks Kylie. I can't wait for October too. Then it's closer to Christmas again.
Thanks for the video Johnno. That drone shot over Busselton showed up the jetty sticking out into the ocean. We walked that 20 odd years ago . Still remember that even though it was summer it was bloody cold for this North Queenslander
Ha ha. It wasn't that cold when I was there
Beautiful views, great music, 👍👍👍
Thanks Eric
Happy Australia day to all.
Ace drone photography Johnno 👌, great video.
Very interesting at the dairy farm, old friend I see, ref 🚚 truck.
Thanks for sharing.😊
Yes. Thanks. It was a great trip all round.
Make me proud to see dutch cows for the milk. Greatings from Holland
We'll set what we can do
The south west region of WA is basically the size of Victoria so good luck getting all that in one episode johnno 😅
Yeah that didn't work. My time disappeared.
@RoadTrainAdventures but Busselton is nice . I'd live there in a heartbeat if I could
I've only been there in those camp grounds down the road
@@RoadTrainAdventures did you go to private schools in Perth? They usually camp there in Vasse
No I didn't go to school in Perth
Great job mate, good to see you back into it. I have a short story.... about 10 years ago, I flew to Brisbane with my (then) 15 year old son and took a b double back to Perth. We got near Eucla and I decided to take him to see the cliffs. First instruction was (do not go to close to the edge!!!!!) I turned around to light up a smoke and when I turned back, the little bugger was standing right on the edge looking down! I nearly crapped my pants,!!!!! Anyway, all turned out well...
Oh wow. That would have been scary. I can just imagine.
I really enjoyed the video and learned a good deal. The sequences of the coast was a beautiful opening. The explanations of place, time and history interesting, a different take of things in the trucking type of upload (‘ scuse the unintended pun!’ ). Wondering how many miles/Kim’s you drive a year?
Regards, Phil - Suffolk, U.K.
Thanks again Phil. I do about 220 to 230 thousands kilometres each year.
@@RoadTrainAdventures good grief !😝🤩
@@FIL357 👍
What were the chances of you finding your old truck like that , you’ll never take milk for granted again , I was having chuckle to myself when you were showing the magnets on the trailer , hope you don’t go to close to cyclists 😊 great vid , till the next take care 😊
Ha ha. Yes catch a couple of push bikes
Another great video Jonno thankyou, a farmer near us in the UK has just installed a rotary parlour like the one you visited milking about 500 cows some bit of kit , odd question ive been trucking all over europe for the last 40 years and on my bucket list i want to drive a roadtrain are there companies in Australia that can offer that experence ? cheers Johnno safe trucking
If you were to chine to Australia and get a visa where you can work I think you could get s job driving a B double first then maybe a road train. I'm not sure if you could just drive one otherwise.
Just finished tough jigsaw. Might give the dairy cow puzzle a miss
Ha ha. Yes this one wound be hard.
Your East Perth drop most likely would have been at Welington and Hill St's there a building site there
Yes. You know your stuff.
@@RoadTrainAdventures I live just up the road Johnno, and I was able to see the tower cranre being built, from my Bennett St address, the next set of lights heading east, hope you had a great OI OI OI aka Australia day yesterday
Thanks Kelly. Yes it was a great Australia day
@@RoadTrainAdventures Your welcome Johnno, all going to plan I'll be joining the channel on Tuesday, love the stories, keep up the awesome work 🙂
Oh that would be great.
Do you lock or secure those dollies and trailers when you leave them behind?
No. They just get left where they are.
Rippa
Awesome. Thanks
Dairy farmers are the backbone of agriculture, every day morning and night, kudos to them. Would be great if the supermarkets could show some respect to them. Instead they use milk as the loss leader, and are miserable with the milk contracts.
Yes definitely.
Hello sir, I have european truck driver license Can i convert my license to australian truck licence or i should get license(do knowledge and driving test) from Australia?
I'm sorry but I don't know how international people get their license so u can't help.
