I actually had a bunch of these when I was a kid. My dad supported anything that indicated I was into science-fiction, since he loved stuff like Jules Verne, Star Trek, and Star Wars, so any time I wanted toys with a sci-fi theme he would go overboard and get all of them that were available. These toys had magnetic feet that would make it so you could have them "defy gravity" by walking on the fridge and the microwave and stuff. Pretty cool stuff back then.

Truly a under rated yet amazing toy line. so much thought and design went into these toys.

The modularity blew my mind when I was kid. I had one of the cargo lifter trucks. Once I saw all the vehicles that my truck could lift onto the bed of the truck was *awesome.* This series was really cool, awesome mechanics.

Probably too ahead of merican kids mind. I remember it was crazy hot in Asia. All the neighbours kids have some . The design philosophy went ahead and influence modern design thinking like plug n play in real life item. I recently tour a newly designed warship. The officer was telling me their aft deck has all necessary space for plug n play container size mission module. My mind was screaming that starcom ....

@fuzzylogic218 What they did back then with springs and gears was nothing short of incredible. And the quality of materials and construction! There was no undue paint bleed or shoddy joints! It was all made well, and surprisingly durable for how intricate the details could be! God, I wish today's toys weren't the cheapest, shittiest crap imaginable, our children are really missing out!

I remember ordering a catalogue from them (you had to actually send them a dollar) and never receiving it. Maybe its because I ordered it from Germany. I sent my mother to the bank to change some Deutsch Marks to a dollar bill and was fascinated that you have bills for 1 Dollar =)

Seems like there were no accu batteries allowed in the USA at that time because it was always about the batteries. Till this day I can say batteries are cheap if you use recharchable batteries! But it seems like americans never got them. In every 80s toy commercial they advertise how great it is because batteries included or not included so this seemd to be a big selling point at the time because none recharchable batteries were expensive and of course did not last long so you had to buy batteries over and over again instead of using recharchable batteries which I guess were hidden treasures at that time or the people were to lazy and just bought new ones. In the Video the seller always reminds you that no batteries are needed here. So this was a big selling point. Hello...Recharchable Batteries....just like the ghetto blaster radios back in the day which needed about 12 big batteries for a listening time of 3 hours. After that they went back to the store bought new ones till the purse was empty. Crazy...😂

Everything was cool in the 80's. Good guys. bad guys. enemy armys. lasers and explosions. fighting. military war. I loved it as a kid. now kids just watch stupid shit about capturing cards and dumb anime about collecting dumb creatures and spinning tops. no one really plays with toy guns either. kids today are lame.
