Let us know what you thought of this song!
You should react to either the new song by a band called trivium that's gonna be out in like and hour or c$&tcrusher by infant annihilator drum playthrough and also good job you two are crushing it.
Check out Sullivan King!
Yas! Neon Empire - This Clarity also please!

Love the reaction didn’t like the song
React to stain the canvas : hell made me
It's much easier for an EDM fan to start enjoying Metal than the other way around. Also looking at EDM artists switching up their music, their fans are not coming at them for switching it up, unlike most heavy artists.
I definitely think these 2 genres compliment eachother very well. Concerts are quite similar, the music flows well. Just another way to expand the metal genre and spice it up.
If y’all really dig the metalstep genre, I HIGHLY recommend Sullivan King. He’s METAL asf with the blend of electronic elements
I love right before the second chorus when Noah screams "THIS IS A MOSH CALL" That's gotta be gnarly live with tons of bass
Yea liked the bad omens part, the drop by Kayzo was a bit weird. Different
Yeah the drop was odd af. Felt like it was too much going on.
It’s a different genre I think the drop is sick and that’s an extremely tame one, Kayzo is a dj but he does his own stuff, that type of stuff is not for evreyone I don’t blame you
They don’t mix.
Liamggbb123 they do if it’s done right this is definetly not a great example, if you check out some of sullivan kings stuff, you’ll see
@@trailmadeofgravel3955 The drop is disappointing for me unlike his previous collaboration with blessthefall on Before the Storm, the drop on that song is good.
These guys are easily my favorite people to watch! His how to videos have helped me SO MUCH with my foot work and tempo's! Thank you both for everything you do!
You guys need to check out kayzos collab with atreyu. “Battle Drums.” And Sullivan King
And code: pandorum!
Kayzo has done a song with of mice and men and one with atreyu, 2 good songs in this style
I second more kayzo reactions!
Yes! Kayzo has some super dope collabs
Blessthefall, OurLastNight,The Zealots
Underoath
That first drop is so amazing, from the intense heavy metal to the sudden transition to the chill low power beat is so good. I was pleasantly surprised the first time.
Kayzo has a whole album with people like Matty Mullins, Kyle Pavone, Underoath, OM&M, etc.
Everything was so heavy and then the drops came and I was like “-_-“
Gibster FGC noooo. That shit if u seen that live, is AMAZING. Shit is such an intense drop. Such a good mix all together
I kind of agree. Usually with Kayzo’s metal collabs the drops are usually much better than this one was.
I kept listening to it. Try singing the lyrics. It makes the drop flow better tbh
This song doesn’t leave a good representation of what kind of music Kayzo does! React to Kayzo battle drums. That’s heavier 🤘🏻
I would like to see overkill by Riot. That song is my song of the year of 2018. Perfect mash of Drumstep & Metal
@Shadow Yoda No, but this is one of his weakest tracks and I think a lot of people share that opinion. Has little drive and power to it.
This song is fucking fire tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kayzo has a nice Underoath collab called Wasted Space, that's how I know who he is!
React to Polaris’ latest album, The Death of Me plssssss
Vagabond is probably my favourite song this year, so good
Adam Parks it’s out of Vagabond, Martyr (Waves), or Landmine for me. Whole album is filthyyyyyyy.
Dude the lead in Creatures of Habit hit my G spot
Wyatt has listened to the entire album I'm pretty sure, he mentioned it in the Dethrone reaction if I'm not mistaken.
Toast The Third yeah just checked then, completely missed it when I watched that. They have a reaction for Pray For Rain, and hopefully the whole album.
Do reactions to the records by the word alive, polaris and amity affliction! They're all bangers
AMITY AFFLICTION IS 🔥🔥🔥
ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD.
I listen to almost every genre, I like both dubstep and metal, but I have to say this didn't mix very well imo. I think if there was some guitar work and maybe a breakdown I would've really liked it. But the drops were only dubstep so I was kind've bumbed.
And the dubstep drops were VERY underwhelming
@@liambarrett2638 Yeah the first needed a lill more oomph tbh, I like it, but it's not fantastic. The 2nd was great imo. I could feel the ideas in this song for sure tho
Check out Eliminate cause he's made this type of drop for long
Yea I've thought it could use a bit more differing sound design
As a straight up bass head. I FUCKING SCREAMED at that drop. Wow, that was incredible. What a mix.
Underoath with kayzo “Wasted Space” is great. I’m sure you’ve heard it, if not y’all should react to that.
"Suffocate" is the first Kayzo collab that's really grabbed me. I have to agree with Lindsay in that I find myself wanting more integration between the electronic and metal genres, which is why I think he was really onto something during the intro and at 4:20. Those gave me major Celldweller vibes, and I consider Celldweller a master at integrating metal and electronic (check out "Switchback" if you haven't yet heard that iconic track).
Kayzo has his own label and I think this single is like a joint release between Sumerian and his Welcome Records..
Kayzo is sick live! He brought out Papa Roach for his remix of Last Resort, and he's also brought out Sum 41, Of Mice & Men, Atreyu, etc. during his live performances too. He incorporates a lot of other genres into his music. You guys should check out Sullivan King, he infuses metal with EDM a lot more than Kayzo, and actually plays his guitar live during his DJ performances. He's insanely talented! Sick live as well!
Saw this live at Edc this past weekend. The crowd went nuts on the first drop. It’s just something you have to see live.
The buildup is so epic and then the beat drops and so does your face
The drop was literally the best part
I love this collab. It's so sick!
I've always loved the sound design on this
i love this drop so much simply for how unique it is. never heard a similar track
So many uploads!!!! Keep this shit coming man 🤘
I think they tried to make a song like korn,skrillex-get up but mehhh
Man as someone who doesn't really listen to dubstep I've been blasting this is my car on repeat for the past 3 days
I genuinely thought this was really cool actually, I like both genres and artists, and tbh I thought it mixed really really well. The going back and forth between the two styles was nice.
The drop is excellent. From a song writing perspective, having all those transients in your face, just to be sucked into a blackhole of 808 that creates a dramatic transfer of dynamics from the high end of the soundscape to the low end. Personally, I approve.
As a Black/Death Metal vocalist who DJ'd on the side as a hobby and eventually became a touring DJ for $$$, This fucking bangs. It's the equivalent of "Metal Dub Pop". It's catchy and I'M looking forward to putting it on my decks. I charted 20th globally on Mixcloud in "Metal". Not easy to hit as a DJ...
I'm sold on this shit.
Kayzo has done shit with Of Mice & Men, Our Last Night, Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire, Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low, and a bunch of others. All of the songs he's done with the bands listed above are in his latest album entitled Unleashed released last year. He also did one with Atreyu before this song with Bad Omens.
Suffocate was realeased of Kayzo’s own label Welcome Records
Of Mice & Men have a song with Kayzo as well. It's called Night Terror and it's pretty cool if you wanna check it out yourselves 😊
KAYZO
This song was definitely not my thing but dethrone, holy shit!
Check out the track he did with Atreyu. Battle Drums. Pretty dope! Dig the new intro btw. 🤘👌👍🔥
Love the drop. You guys should do an episode where you react to your fans music. And yes to Poppy
Kayzo has his own label called Welcome Records
You should react to poppy, but kayzo also did some other tracks with metal artists, most notable underoath, atreyu, blessthefall and of mice and men
I don't know what the people commenting on that video are talking about. The first time I heard that trap beat drop in, it was like that scene in Clerks 2, when Jay hears "Goodbye Horses".
PLEASE react to poppy i’m actually in love with her
So Kayzo is a hardcore guy at heart but happens to make dubstep but a ton of his music is influenced by bands from the scene. I def recommend checking out some of his other tracks, this isnt one of his best but the majority of his tracks are complete bangers. He has a ton of bands he's worked with and is doing a cool thing within the scene as I saw him actually on tour with Our Last Night and I See Stars last year.
If you guys want to check out some more of this electronic/metal combinations, be sure to check out Celldweller. Breaking point, a matter of time, my disintegration and into the void are some of his more recent songs and all awesome!
I find with the bad omens part with the switching to the kayzo part just randomly it’s pretty unique and dope in its own way, it’s different.
But only 1% Bad Omens's fans like Kayzo's part
Yes please react to Poppy - Scary Mask
Yes, you guys should definitely react to Poppy. Bite your teeth is a good track to start with. :)
It surely took me by surprise, but I liked it, so it went straight into my playlist 😎
Check out wake up hate- I just don't love you anymore, or some of the new album of great american ghost if you like it just a little bit more extreme 😜 scorched earth is definitely recommended 🤟
Yeah, in the Bass Music Scene, there's a whole phase going on right now called Freeform Bass. Basically a Bass Trap beat and weird basses for the drop. It IS out of the ordinary for Kayzo to make something like that, but I assume he's trying to experiment with it a bit. Can you guys react to Kayzo collab with Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low called "Up in Flames"?
Yeah...I can hear Subtronics and Eliminate's vibes 😁😁
Down with the sickness at start and 4:15 reminds me of ludens scream :d
Please react to Poppy omg
Also, I just think the Kayzo drop wasn't heavy enough. It was a good drop for a different song
If u love metal and electronic. This is god damn dream
If people could love to learn both, and understand both. It’s such a great combo and can be so hard.
Zomboy - Battfields (a really good example of this metal rock + electronic)
Qemists? I guess , idkk
Kayzo, Phaseone, Sullivan King 🔥🔥🔥
Dude.. can we pleaseeeee do some parkway drive??
If you guys liked this, Kayzo did a song with blessthefall!
I do feel like the drop was left a little too open if you know what I mean. a bit empty in a way where they could have done more but the rapid notes/sounds (Idunno how to describe music) in the first drop I thought was cool I just wish there was more going on in the background but every other part of it I loved from vocals to the screams cut in during the drop so over all I quite liked it but damn the ending got me I WISH they just added even this tiny 1 second super heavy part with a scream and then just cutting it off. I also got some Mick Gordon DOOM vibes from 4:21 for a second which was sick
Kayzo has a very unique sound to his EDM drops. People are saying Kayzo ruined the song. Bad Omens & Kayzo worked on the song together. Bad Omens for sure heard the song and approved it. Soooo, by discrediting Kayzo you're also discrediting Bad Omens' judgement and what they like.
It wasn't a heavy dubstep drop, but I'm sure another artist will remix it to be heavier. It had potential with bad omens and the second drop but it needed to be heavier.
Your techno comment and dubstep being metal of the electronic side of things comment are spot on lol
It was a great song in my opinion... great mix and wasn't upset with the kayzo mix. Bad omens never let's us down and is always evolving.Let's goo 🤘👍🎧
Check out my latest track "Revision ft. Joseph Vanporppal" if you're into that Metalcore/Dubstep/Riddim vibes.
This is how you don't do a collab tbf. Doesn't really gel well.
Welcome to the metalstep scene!! Hope you stick around! Checkout phaseone- circle pit
You should check out other Kayzo collabs with scene bands. He’s got songs with Of Mice & Men, Kyle Pavone, Underoath, blessthefall, and more!
The more I listen to it the more I like it. I think it sounds soooo different, and that’s not a bad thing. The drop was too quiet?
It's not quiet, there have been more producers doing this type of drop
Kayzo is considered to be dubstep/bass and You should listen to Last Resort Remix by Kayzo
Haha yeah dude. Do Poppy. Just curious on how you guys react to Poppy.
I really enjoyed the whole song. Actually loved the drop. Really cool mix. Doesn't have to be heavy all the time imo.
YES I WANT TO SEE YOU GUYS REACT TO POPPYS NEW ALBUM!
Landmines by Polaris!!!
Also this song was alright. It gave me blueballs at first. Was expecting a big hit and the carpet got ripped out from under me.
Same lol
React to scary mask by poppy!
Really wish the drop was heavy-hitting dubstep. It’s just what’s currently trending in the EDM scene, a weird wobbly trap drop.
Can you react to infant annihilator
Let's have a Slaughter To Prevail drum cover! You pick the song, cuz any of them will do. It would be a dope cover to watch.
Well that was interesting, I liked the Bad Omens parts. I think you have to get warmed up on the electronic parts, didn't enjoy them on the first listen
I thought I was the only one who liked the drop, I mean it's dooooppee!!!
YES POPPY
The drops...THE BLUEBALLS. H E L P
Poppy, yes please!!
Naah, I don't love it to be honest. The drop just wasn't my thing but the rest was sick
Yeah drop ruined the whole vibe I'm so mad cuase the rest of this song is sick.
Listen to violent stimuli! The drums are insane and I think you'll love it
Something different, I like it
Zomboy - Battlefields (sampled A Day To Remember) did this WAAAYYYYY better. Sorry.
Yes react to Poppy!!
Crossfaith are a good metalcore-edm band, try listening to countdown to hell, xeno or catastrophe in a video or not, they're pretty hype
Something nobody mentions is that the drop sounds weird on the record but would sound SO GOOD LIVE. I honestly think this song is dope and I pretty much just listen to metalcore. Not a huge fan of Bad Omens' new sound and this was aggressive and thus refreshing imo
as a huge fan of both genres, I thought it slapped
Kayzo collabs with post-hardcore/metalcore bands. From Underoath, Atreyu, Blessthefall & Our Last Night. He did blow up with a remix to last resort and is in the studio with papa roach about a week or 2 ago. Hes an awesome producer for doing these collabs. His other songs with bands are better than this one If you were to do more Kayzo. id like to see some PhaseOne who does about the same style.
Edit: Techno is in the community as pretty standard term. Like technically its all techno, but like metal it has alot sub genres based on sounds and bpm.
React to Someone You Loved by Our Last Night, I See Stars, The Word Alive and Ashland
Kayzo has an amazing collab with blessthefall called before the storm. Much more instrumental than this track
React to Crash and Burn by Northlane and PhaseOne!
PhaseOne is a metalcore inspired dubstep artist that occasionally features artists like Northlane, Crystal Lake, Thy Art Is Murder, etc.. PhaseOne’s new album Transcendency is dope and you guys should check it out.
For me broken home was better than last resort
I feel like it's cool to see the genre meshing but I think it was just the aggressive contrast between the drop and everything else that didn't quite work for me
Yeah the drop throws you off. But it's a good song. I remember Noah saying disturbed is one of his main influences so happy he finally put that into a song 😊
you should react to sleeping with sirens, i know they arent that heavy but their latest album was really good in my opinion
thats deepdubstep so guwtt
I honestly really like the drop I know it’s not a popular opinion, but I love unique drops, I’m assuming you guys are more used to metal-esq stuff (sorry not sure how to describe it) but battle drums by Kayzo is also good.
React to Bad Omens - Blood. best song on the album
A more accurate specification would prolly be EDM/Electronica
