This occurred in Washington State, up near Bellingham near the Canadian border. Lots of hunters up there, fortunately these neighbors were well prepared and saved the deputies. The video doesn’t mention it, but the neighbors who rescued the deputies were honored for their actions.
Texan here. Everyone has guns here. You’re crazy if you don’t. But you have to understand that 99% of us use them correctly and safely. It’s only the psychopaths and drunk people who do this type of crap.
Can confirm, I’ve lived in North Carolina, Texas, and California. About half the people I knew carried in NC, most the people I knew in TX, and pretty much no one carried in CA. I always felt safer and more comfortable with the Texans and Carolinians, they won’t shoot you, but they wouldn’t hesitate to use it to protect someone. Over here inSoCal, if the regular Joe carried a gun, I could not say I would be confident in his ability to use it. Always felt less safe out here where you see more gangsters with unlicensed firearms than good people with licensed ones.
Fun fact. Legally armed law abiding citizens break less laws than even the police. And are held to a higher stringent of behavior and standards when carrying out in day to day life.
A fact you just can't back up and just pulled out of your a--. Every shooter is a law abiding citizen until they're not. The nerve to say this with the amount of gun violence in this country. Allowing you to have a gun, whether or not you are law abiding, allows all kinds of people to own them, which means a lot of gun violence and mass shootings. Also, the culture of hate that's festering and breeding on the right pushing mentally deranged people into shooting up groups of people.
The 'slug' is the round. The 'plug' is what goes between the powder and the shell to cause momentum. It would be like loading a cannon -- the powder goes first, followed by something that can 'plug' the cavity and let the later burnt powder build pressure from expansion when lit... Then the ball that is the round (or in this case, slug').
That called the wad, but I think that is what they meant. A plug usually limits the number of shells in the magazine tube, because state laws limit you to usually 3 or so for bird hunting.
Fair to both of you. I believe it's a semantics argument based on locality and how people refer to things, but I am wrong by technicality. Appreciated to both for the clarification
I don’t think a lot of people understand that an ambulance crew are sometimes either not allowed to go to an active scene like that or they can personally refuse to if it’s a threat to THEIR life. I know how that sounds but as far as the rules of EMS goes it states that if the scene is actively unsafe and the medics or EMTs get injured then we can’t help anyone else. In this situation we’d take our ambulance and “stage” a safe distance away. I’m guessing in this situation that’s why the injured officers had to get themselves to the waiting ambulance.
I’m a former Missouri EMT. OUr training and the service I worked for, forbade us from entering an area/scene if we were aware or suspicious of danger on scene, whether fallen power lines, active fire, gunshots, or a person wielding other weaponry or being assaultive. We were called to a scene that was downgraded to a psych non emergency. I drove by to see a man chasing his parents across a yard with a butcher knife. I kept driving, had dispatch notify PD and staged half mile away. We took him to the hospital in cuffs with PD following after PD cleared us to do so. You cannot treat someone if you’re incapacitated. Or dead.

Thanks for the info! The way it was described (in the video) I thought the slug was an "unspent shell" & the plug was the "spent shell" Since he said the plug flew over the fence I figured it was an empty shell.
@@BeboRulz Shotgun shell... casing with primer, inside is powder to burn, a plug to separate powder from projectile, and the projectile is either a mass of pellets (shot) or a slug (solid mass of lead). @@cycleboy8028 A shot shell uses a wad to cover the powder in the shell, not a plug. A plug in a shotgun is made of wood or plastic and is in the tubular magazine. It is used to restrict to number of shells the the gun can hold. The wad is used to keep and build pressure behind the shot or slug and it also keeps shot tight producing a better pattern ( spread ).
Slugs are a 1oz solid projectile. That’s why he said “I doubt it was a slug that’s why I’m still here” The “plug” is actually a wadding that contains shot, birdshot/buckshot. This instance he was shot with birdshot. which is a lot of small pellets that don’t carry much velocity over distance.
I used to go to this range where on the rifle range when going to check your targets you could have bird shot landing on you from the shotgun range. You could feel it hit but it didn't hurt. Just keep your eye protection on.
@joshua3113 birdshot vs literally any other rnd is night and day. Birdshot will act as a deterrent but other like buck or slugs physically can remove chunks from someone. Range with a shotty is easily 50m+ lethality
Pisses me off because buckshot which is generally what they use is generally 00 buckshot which holds 8-9 shots about the same size and velocity (Depending on your ammo manufacture and individual rounds so I don't get the gun nuts angry with me) as a .45
@JosephRaoII One of the gun tubers did a pretty effective demonstration of the spread patterns and distances a while back. It wasn't a "debunk" video in intent but it did clearly show how the reality of shotgun physics differs substantially from the shotgun physics portrayed in cinema and gaming. It's kind of being used more as a prop device or a way to have a weapon that can be used to add intensity to a scenario yet still be able to justify characters not being super dead afterwards. Which means that either their on set firearm expert is full of S and didnt say hey... ummm no...or they intentionally manipulate the effectiveness as necessary for their story.
This is why we have guns in our country to protect ourselves, and protect our families, and protect ourselves from the government if needed, but also to lend a hand to law-enforcement if needed
It is important to be realistic about the concept of self-defense against the government. The thought of facing off against a well-equipped SWAT team or military force is simply unrealistic. Moreover, one must consider the rationale behind such actions. While there may be legitimate concerns about corrupt individuals within law enforcement, provoking a confrontation with them could result in dire consequences for oneself and loved ones. I support the idea of self-defense within reasonable bounds, but engaging in conflict with a government entity is a questionable course of action without "reasonable" cause and your own team, even then....you better be willing to die and most of all be in the right. What is a defend against the government situation exactly if I may ask?
@@jestapath7373 Defending against the government has become a fairly nebulous concept across time, and the many many interpretations.. Some people will point to forceful erasure of life of those deemed as corrupt, but part of the multiplicative forces that the forefathers probably didn't see, were tanks.. Airplanes, Jets, etc.. One of the lines was something about 'A well regulated militia' basically a civilian's army.. but the application of war has grown from 'bayonets, muskets, and swords' to 'Weapons of mass destruction, mass casualty, and mass bombardment' Not things I could imagine the founding fathers foreseeing.
@@jestapath7373It would be a bloody civil war if one happened, but you have to remember that police and military take an oath to uphold the constitution, and many do take that seriously. It seems unlikely that citizens will ever have to use force to stop the government, but simply the threat/possibility is enough to keep them in line. A guerrilla war is notoriously difficult to win, especially in your own country.
@@jestapath7373 "What is a defend against the government situation exactly if I may ask?" There isn't one particular scenario. However, there are many examples throughout history. We can start with the French Resistance in World War Two, where rudimentary handguns were dropped for the people to arm themselves. They were single shot pistols for the purpose of assassination of a German soldier. The French Resistance would then take the weapon and ammo from the soldier and then use that firearm for further purposes of their role in reconnaissance and sabotage. We Americans understand that while freedom is risky, the reward for maintaining a right to keep and bear arms for the people is vital in perpetually ensuring that, should a time arise to have a call to arms to either quell an invasion, resist against a tyrant, or protect oneself from those who wish to do harm is more important than safe unwilling compliance.
Yep live in Texas and the good news is most Americans who own guns are law abiding and never have to use it outside of shooting practice range or hunting but guns are tools and in the hands of law abiding citizens they can save lives. Armed good guys are needed to stop armed bad guys.
This is why the right to bear arms by every citizen is so important because sometimes the cops even need help and we have a right and duty as American citizens to help uphold the law

Don't underestimate how far a shotgun can actually go at that distance they still have the power to a lot more damage than what happened, glad those officers are okay.
It all depends on the type of round used, according to google lethal ranges with buckshot are about 35m/38yrds, birdshot 45m/49yrds and 100m/110yrds with slugs.
People tend to forget they’re classified as a rifle. As such their range is alot farther than a pistol. Farther than even movie and games like to make their range.
Birdshot is lethal at close enough distance. You don't think at 15 yards a pellet couldn't hit a vital organ. There have been people who has been ended by pellet guns.
@Jordan23501 bird shot can be very lethal. Hit the lungs or heart, or I guess any other vital organ and you can bleed out. Not to mention if you get hit in the throat you will just be breathing blood and drown. All guns are dangerous and can be lethal. I guess the only exception is nerf guns and water guns with water in them.

The slug is the lead projectile the plug or wadding is what holds the powder charge inside the shell and is also ejected from the barrel when the shotgun is fired.
5:44 The "slug" is the bit of metal inside the shotgun shell that comes flying out and does damage to the target, the "plug" (sabot) is a bit of plastic that cups around the slug inside the shotgun shell to keep it straight as it fires down the barrel, the plastic bit comes out after the slug when the shotgun is fired and just sort of flutters through the air and falls. So when this idiot was shooting shotgun slugs into the air, the plastic bits from the shotgun shells were raining down into their yard.
I honestly worry about the publics safety over there in the UK. They are arresting private citizens for things like pronouns. Its beyond totalitarian. The British people deserve better. You deserve freedom of speech, no matter who is speaking and no matter what is being said

Its worrying enough that you have to have multiple police officers armed to take down one man. SLUG is a solid projectile for a shotgun. They have Bird shot, double ought buck, and other assorted rounds can b fired from a shotgun. Also bean bags rounds and pepper ball rounds
I’m guessing that when the guy said the “plug” from the shell landed in their yard, he meant the plastic wad from it that separates the gunpowder from the lead pellets or slug
I'm glad the neighbors were there to help. But it is wild that they were hanging around, and that the officers hadn't asked them to go back into their homes.
5:38 To home load a shotgun sheel: Primer in base brass of sheel, then powder, then plug/wad(plastic/pressed paper), then pellets and or slug. Pellets for small game and or water fowl, turkey, dove, etc... Slug shotgun shells are primarily used on big game. You could think of a shotgun shell like loading a muzzel weapon. But doing the loading process in a shotgun shell then sticking the shell into a shot gun. NOTE: Plug/Wad keeps the pellets seperated from the powder.
So the difference between a slug and a "plug" is the slug is the actual projectile, it's essentially just a big bullet, the "plug" is likely referring to the wad. A wadding is a piece of plastic used in-between the gunpowder and the projectile to push it down the barrel.
Shell= the case that holds the round, gun powder, and primer Plug = the wadding ( usually plastic) that is in between the round and the gunpowder that acts as a temporary barrier to seal the gasses in the barrel till the round makes its way down range The slug= is the round itself ( a shotgun shell can hold many types and sizes of “ shot”) the biggest being a slug which is called such because it literally is one big slug or chunk of lead, usually about the size of your thumb or slightly bigger depending on the gage of shotgun 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, and .410 the bigger the gage number the smaller the shell size the gun can hold in the chamber, 4 being the biggest, .410 being the smallest
The Beebies are called buckshot. It’s what’s packed into the shell and it spreads out as the bullet travels. That’s why shotguns do so much damage. These Beebies penetrate and can go completely through your body.
And blow the lung completely out of the body? There is no bullet in buck and bird shot. Just the BBs themselves. And neither is overly effective beyond 30 yards. A solid slug is a 1 ounce bullet. THATS dangerous out to about 100 yards, but not what they got hit with.
Slugs are essentially bullets for a shotgun, I believe the plug that they’re talking about is the one in every shell that pushes the slug out and separates it from the gunpowder, it’s a little plastic deal.
When he said the plug landed in his yard, he means the wad from inside the shotgun shell. It's a divider that's placed in between the gunpowder and the projectile(s). It comes out of the barrel behind the projectile(s) but is usually made of lightweight thin plastic and doesn't fly very far or straight.

6:00 he’s referring to the wad which is what separates the powder from the pellets in the shell. The wad shoots out with the pellets keeping them together until the wad and pellets leave the barrel which then they separate from each other after some distance. If he fires into the air the wad would travel so far until it no longer contains the pellets and fall to the ground. The wad being a plastic bowl in a way.

@13:05 explains your question regarding the ammo. Officer was shot with BUCKSHOT . 3 main types shotgun ammo : Birdshot - several BBs for shooting fowl(imagine like 30 tiny bbs) Buckshot - (10 or 15 larger bbs), used for larger game. And Slug - one giant slug / bullet - think of a large AA battery
5:59 in the bottom of a shell is plug so there is a good seal between ammunition and the shell so it's propelled correctly, ammunition could be birdshot (very small pallets), buckshot(slightly larger then a BB from airsoft) and slug (one solid object).
Yes it was terrible. I’ve not seen this edited version. The unedited version goes into a little more detail-the guy was drunk and really had no idea what he’d done and the standoff was hours long.

The neighbors should have been recognized for the help they gave to these officers. They should have received honors. The police were blessed to have these men there to help them!
5:55 Like Aiden said, the shell is what holds all of the pellets, bbs, or the slug (and well I guess and the plug as well lol). The slug is the big piece of lead/metal that is actually being shot, (aka the projectile that's being shot at the target). Also, when they say plug, I'm assuming they mean the Wad/wadding inside of the shotgun shell, which is used at the front of the shell to hold like the bbs or the slug in place and all. And when the trigger is pulled the Wad (a piece of like plastic sort of cone shaped materia, Ig plastic, which I always thought it was like more it a fabric of some sort other than plastic cause of how it looks when being fired out and all, it looks more like fabric than plastic imo. But yeah, it's just what it used at the front of the shell, again, it's just there to hold everything being shot out in the front of the shell and all, Ig to ensure that everything is together before being shot out of the shell. But yeah, Ik that's a lil bit longer than I anticipated it being and maybe I'm not the best at explaining stuff myself, but I hope from what lil bit of knowledge I have when it comes to shotguns and all. I'm more knowledgeable about pistols and all more tbh, tho I do love the old shotgun I had (it was called like an over under shotgun, where u pressed a button and the front of thr barrel lowered ad pointed down to load the shell in thr very end of the barrel closest to/the stock. Which sadly my mom give it to a neighbor at the time who was a family friend at the time, who ended up fucking me out of the gun, which really made me extremely mad and I'll never forgive him cause it was the 4/10 shotgun my grandmother give me a couple years before she passed away and was one of the only things I had left of her (other than a 22 revolver that got stolen by the person I lived with in middle school before we moved back to the original city we were from). It just makes me so sad that the couple of things that were the only things I had left from my grandmother were taken from me, and one by someone we trusted , and he was only ever asked to hold onto the gun for me and my mom cause I was going thru a lot at the time and was severely depressed and she asked him to hold onto it, and he ended up giving it to his son and no telling what happened after that, but I'll never forgive him and know that I'm older I wanna see and beat tf out of him not matter how old he is for stealing and taking away the only physical thing I had left of my grandma, it makes me so sad every time I think of it wnf me not having that 4/10 anymore. But just my luck Ig, I wouldn't have any luck if not for bad luck. But it takes a real pos to give away a gun you know is someone's only item they have left from their deceased grandmother, and you give it away anyways tbh, like a true pos move. Sorry, Ik the last paragraph or two have nothing to do with the video, but once I brought up my old shotgun, it brought back all of those great and then horrible memories I tried to forget due to not having what was given to me by my grandma to remember her by, it just makes me so fkn mad man frfr, and the bad part is, he knew what it was and what it meant to me tbh.
A slug is a type of round for a shotgun. Its a large, solid projectile that is quite powerful and destructive. Has the potential to go through houses, people.. etc until it hits something solid or rigid.
the difference between a slug and a plug is a slug is a solid projectile. and i believe a plug is inside the shotgun shell if you have buck/bird shot and it helps keep the pellets together till they exit the barrel. also buck shot has less pellets then bird shot but buck shot has bigger pellets and buck shot is more powerful
For those wondering... This is Washington State that has zero stand your ground laws or castle laws. But this was neither. This was a civilian putting himself in danger to defend 2 downed public officials..
"Hey, get back!" "No, I'll stand my post. I'll keep watch while you guys get the attention you need." It shows that 'serving' is both in and out of the military.
5:34 I believe he meant wad when he said plug. The wad is the plastic cup that holds the shot until it exists the barrel. A plug is a wood or plastic dowel in the shotgun magazine that restricts the capacity to 2 for legally hunting waterfowl. We remove the plug when hunting upland game birds like pheasant, or self defense, where even the most anti gun states allow 10 round magazines, which are longer than most shotgun barrels.
6:00 a slug is a single large ball shot, typically used for larger game or longer range, as opposed to shot, which is several smaller balls Im not sure what plug is, but sometimes plug is used yo mean you shot something "hey bill, you think you can plug that target at 300 yards?"
Shotguns typically use Shells, which shoot these pallets barrage, a slug is another shot a shotgun can shoot which is a solid chunk of metal that can do some serious damage. But it's a single piece not a barrage like the shells, Bird Shot which is what this was, are like the shells except the pallets are much smaller BBs and more of them, they are usually used to hunt birds, because it sprays the area in a wider arc with a lot more BBs than a typical shell pallet. So although they are less lethal than a regular Shotgun shell or a slug they can still cause serous damage or death if those BBs hit the right spot. Then you have this small metal BB piercing your body. Keep in mind even though they are BBs, It's a lot of BBs being shot at once from a fire arm not from a BB gun so they do have enough force behind them to penetrate the body.
The "plug" most likely is the insert inside shot shells which hold all the pellets in place. It flies out the barrel when a shot shell is fired. This is different than a slug, which is a single solid projectile.
The first two officer should have requested a backup immediately once they spoke to the neighbors and realize how dangerous the man is. The also should have requested the SWAT team.
Theres several elements to your questions about shotguns. When they said "plug" they're refering to a piece of plastic that's in front of the propellant and behind the "bullet" or shot. It just pushes the shot out evenly. So when he's shooting into the air it's shooting "bb's" or shot and the plastic piece just falls down onto the ground without risk to anyone and fell into the neighbors yard. The rounds typically used can be slugs, buckshot, or birdshot. This man was shooting birdshot. Birdshot is shot thats between the size of gravel and bb's used primarily for of course birds. Buckshot is the typical lethal shell used that consists of roughly 1cm ball bearing like balls. The slug is a 1oz or .02kg led "bullet".
A shell is the case of the bullet. The plug is what is between the slug (projectile) and the powder. Its a plastic ring. Shotgun shells have primer, powder, plug, projectile. Look it up if you want but thats what a plug of a shotty shell is
A shotgun fires several different rounds. You have a slug, an ounce of solid lead, .00 buck, 9 .45 caliber bb’s, birdshot, which has a lot of little bb’s and several others. They got hit with the birdshot it looks like because the first two would have killed them.
Slug is the projectile plug is what holds the slug ontop of the gun powder inside the shell mostly used for bird shot (small beebees) and buck shot (ball bearing size pellets)
with a shotgun, a "slug" is a single large projectile (as opposed to the multiple pellets of a scattering load), either roughly the bore diameter or a subdiameter held with a bore-diameter discarding sabot. in most (all?) shotgun rounds, there are one or more elements separating the powder and shot-load, which keeps the powder down at the base of the shell prior to firing and helps form a good pressure seal in the bore behind the shot load when the shell is fired - and some of these elements are often called "wads" or "plugs" due to their function in the round.
4:00 It's understandable with the neighbors thing, My family has always made an effort to get to know the neighborhood. We learned that a majority of our neighbors were combat vets and enjoy hanging out with them. But most neighborhoods here in the U.S people keep to themselves which is quite sad.

6:00 so there’s two things I can think of when he says plug, one being a length of tube or dowel that you put into the tube magazine of the shotgun(where the bullets come from when you reload after shooting a shot) that are meant to reduce the amount of shells you can have loaded into a shotgun, for regulatory reasons. Some places you may only be allowed 3 but most shotguns you can fit 6-7 shots in a fully loaded gun(7 including one in the chamber). The other plug which I’m thinking is what he’s talking about because the way he said it seems like it landed in the backyard after he shot, which would be impossible with the other kind of plug. That being the “wadding” part of the shell (bullet for a shotgun), which sits between the gunpowder and the projectile. Think the peice of cloth they tap into a musket after pouring in gunpowder. When they say slug that would be the type of projectile in the shotgun shell. You either get a bunch of ball bearings which range in size or a big single piece of metal which is called a slug, which can put a fist sized hole in things.
@OfficeBlokeDaz A plug is a blockage device in the tube of the shotgun (under the barrel) and a slug is a solid projectile fired like any other shotgun round.
From slugs, buckshot, and birdshot there is a plastic plug that separates the powder from the projectile(s). This plug will part ways with the projectile after leaving the barrel; it can travel several score yards, or hit the target if the target is close, though it is light weight.
When they mentioned the “Plug” I believe the were referring to the Wad.. so in a casing (the shell) there is either a Slug or Shot (the projectile(s)) and the Wad (a spacer of sorts that separates the Gunpowder from the ammunition. Both the Slug and the Wad are shot

Given that the "plug" flew into the neighbors yard, they must have meant the wad?

@@jestapath7373 Defending against the government has become a fairly nebulous concept across time, and the many many interpretations..

There isn't one particular scenario.

The slug is the projectile and the plug is the wadding that is packed with the powder in the shell.

The only bad part of this story is the crazy scumbag was still breathing at the end of it…
Thanks for this. I've never seen any of this footage except the cut of the civilian stepping in to return fire.
So the difference between a slug and a "plug" is the slug is the actual projectile, it's essentially just a big bullet, the "plug" is likely referring to the wad. A wadding is a piece of plastic used in-between the gunpowder and the projectile to push it down the barrel.
Shell= the case that holds the round, gun powder, and primer
Plug = the wadding ( usually plastic) that is in between the round and the gunpowder that acts as a temporary barrier to seal the gasses in the barrel till the round makes its way down range
The slug= is the round itself ( a shotgun shell can hold many types and sizes of “ shot”) the biggest being a slug which is called such because it literally is one big slug or chunk of lead, usually about the size of your thumb or slightly bigger depending on the gage of shotgun 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, and .410 the bigger the gage number the smaller the shell size the gun can hold in the chamber, 4 being the biggest, .410 being the smallest
The cop was shot with bird shot, not buck shot
Slugs are essentially bullets for a shotgun, I believe the plug that they’re talking about is the one in every shell that pushes the slug out and separates it from the gunpowder, it’s a little plastic deal.
2:23 aidan's been playing too much fortnite 😂 shotguns can shoot pretty far
When he said the plug landed in his yard, he means the wad from inside the shotgun shell. It's a divider that's placed in between the gunpowder and the projectile(s). It comes out of the barrel behind the projectile(s) but is usually made of lightweight thin plastic and doesn't fly very far or straight.

**I've seen this video a bunch and I'm VERY glad they are both ok & back to work. Just hope some tactical stuff changed in regards to safety AND the city got another ambulance 💜**
Ah yes, because hiding and letting him move around his neighborhood freely while firing his shotgun is a great idea. Would just give you a reason to complain that they should have acted sooner. The reality is you've never been shot at and acting like you know or would do better than them is laughable. Go back to your video games little boy.
I can't comprehend why any other country would think they should mess with the USA.
5:59 in the bottom of a shell is plug so there is a good seal between ammunition and the shell so it's propelled correctly, ammunition could be birdshot (very small pallets), buckshot(slightly larger then a BB from airsoft) and slug (one solid object).
I saw the uncensored version of this video my god it was terrible
Where can it be seen?
Yes it was terrible. I’ve not seen this edited version. The unedited version goes into a little more detail-the guy was drunk and really had no idea what he’d done and the standoff was hours long.
uncensored video is on youtube channel called POLICE ACTIVITY CHANNEL
As an American, I like the way Brit’s describe things “you see the cop car drive by to join the party… if you want” 😂😂 yeah I want to 😅
Yeah I don’t know any of my neighbors names… don’t talk to them. And quite frankly, don’t care to talk to them 😂
Plug is the plastic backing in the shell between the primer/powder and the projectile. Its a basket for the shot basically
I usually rag on the cops but these suckers are some real dudes.
Most cops are genuinely good people who just want to help and keep people safe. The only reason you see so much about corrupt cops is because they are so rare by comparison. The good cops get next to no recognition in most cases since they are just "doing their job", but because corrupt cops are doing the opposite they suddenly get all of the attention.
The neighbors should have been recognized for the help they gave to these officers. They should have received honors. The police were blessed to have these men there to help them!
They did they received honers frome the city and the local police
Washington State, which borders Canada and it's most famous city is Seattle.
Dudes been waiting for this moment their whole damn lives😂
A slug is a type of round for a shotgun. Its a large, solid projectile that is quite powerful and destructive. Has the potential to go through houses, people.. etc until it hits something solid or rigid.
The plug is the thing that pushes whatever shot round out the gun
When every single Anerican can possibility be armed, cops have to go into every situation like a potential live shooter.
Are you slow?
the difference between a slug and a plug is a slug is a solid projectile. and i believe a plug is inside the shotgun shell if you have buck/bird shot and it helps keep the pellets together till they exit the barrel. also buck shot has less pellets then bird shot but buck shot has bigger pellets and buck shot is more powerful
6:00 a slug is a single large ball shot, typically used for larger game or longer range, as opposed to shot, which is several smaller balls
Im not sure what plug is, but sometimes plug is used yo mean you shot something "hey bill, you think you can plug that target at 300 yards?"
5:45 a plug is in a shotgun shells that push the projectile forward. Piece of plastic that pushes the slug
A shell is the case of the bullet. The plug is what is between the slug (projectile) and the powder. Its a plastic ring. Shotgun shells have primer, powder, plug, projectile. Look it up if you want but thats what a plug of a shotty shell is
The plug flys out after the slug (bullet) the plug is the divider between the gunpowder and slug in the shell
I like how the cop he says you want to watch him while I go talk like yeah sure he sounded really excited about being lookout😂
“A plug goes in the sink and a slug goes across the road” 😂🤣😂🤣😂 I ain’t even mad at it hahahaha
5:53 slug is the projectile that kills you, plug is the wadding between the gun powder and the projectile
When I would spend the summer with my Dad we knew all the neighbors his house was the party house if the garage door was open it meant he was home, come on over grab a beer and hang out
6:00 so there’s two things I can think of when he says plug, one being a length of tube or dowel that you put into the tube magazine of the shotgun(where the bullets come from when you reload after shooting a shot) that are meant to reduce the amount of shells you can have loaded into a shotgun, for regulatory reasons.
