Thanks for the review; the “pages” thing is a big deal for me; at last I can build a coherent, digital sketchbook. I don’t know why, but this is a game changer for me; it means I can build a sketchbook, block by block save it as a pdf document that I can use as a reference in print, in Apple “Books” or any other format. Add in the new iPad mini that I can easily carry everywhere and I feel like I have been let out of a paper-and-pencil/pen prison.
Very useful to me. I draw my webcomic in procreate, the maximum canvas for me was around 800x16000 (with enough layers to work with), but usually I need more than that, so I needed to create another canvas and it was kind of a pain to see the continuity of the chapter. I’m testing the beta now and it looks good and fluid to navigate between pages.
Glad I searched for this function today. Did not know it existed.... this feature is especially useful for me in taking notes in a creative/ideation meeting. Rather than having to transcribe written notes (with sketches, etc) as in the past - I can takes notes & sketch now on my iPad. Filling up layers as I go and then exporting them directly to desktop or elsewhere. Thanks for the cogent demo - the feature works exactly as I had imagined/wished it would!
Im excited hopefully in future they can manage to add panel features just like CSP to make comic easier. But for now this is a great step for book bundling in PDF!
Hey Elijah, I'm working on it right now. This Procreate 5.2 release kinda took over my release schedule 🙃 I have returned to normal now, so my main priority is on the impossible pack. If all goes well, then it should be less than a week away. Stay tuned my friend 🙌
No release date announced yet unfortunately. Quick tip: I would follow @procreate on instagram, they are the first to announce when something is coming up.

How would you go about doing this?
@@Jake_Makes Jason, not really sure what you asking, but glad to help if I can.
But won't you hit the layers limit much faster?

Yes! I just got the beta today and am excited to try out for this reason!
@@faethecreates How do you organize the workflow? I draw in procreate, but I prefer affinity design to organize the flow and fonts/balloons.
Yes I’m excited for the page assist! Great in making storybook, comic, and portfolios in one!😍

Brilliant, no more nightmares when trying to create childrens books 😁
Other than the writing and illustrating 😉
The pages feature allows me to directly open a Procreate document in Adobe Illustrator or Affinity Designer.
Brilliant... concise and straight to the point. V helpful. Thank you 👍
This is great! You could prepare multiple sketch notes and deliver them as a document instead of separate images!
Thanks for the update, i have question, can we make Painting our of photographs from pro create or any other software required in ipad

Yay! Happy to see this. Thank you!
Oh, yeah, now THIS is the part of the update I'm gonna make use of.
Hey art & design did the impossible brushes update v6 come out yet? I’m dying to use the new brushes

If each page had about 40 layers for a comic book page. How can you have a 23 page comic and each page with a lot of layers?
I think the new update makes it possible to utilize higher RAM iPad models for more layers. I'm not sure how significant the change is though 🤷♂️
How can I insert a text on a PDF page without creating a new layer for it? Please help me!
Great feature, now i can comment multi page architectural drawings
I want that first Proko PDF.
I feel like I need a bigger iPad storage for this
Hello 👋 LIKE 352 👍 Amazing video, great information 👍 Happy New Year 🎆 🎈🎊
Love that page assist!!!! I just want the update to freaking release already!! 😒
are you sure a; pages are exported? she. i try to export from procreate it only export the current page
This is the issue I'm having too
This still seems too cumbersome for making comics, I guess I'll be sticking with CSP. Great for sketchbooks drawing though.
Yeah if it EVER comes out, they said it was coming ALONG time ago
When is this update coming?

as a manga artist I am elated.
I’m not blown away, I don’t mind creating new canvases, gives me more freedom
Please check your instagram dm. Thanm you
Yeah thats good, I prefer to colour with procreate but pencil and ink in clip studio. That’ll life much easier
