Put hundreds of them in a cube or a sphere.
Now is the time for real 3D LED holograms, albeit in smaller sizes.

What on earth is the practical use for this other than to be used for advertising in stores?

and that is it,because it will be expensive for average user, but a company that is focused on advertising this product is perfect.
Also this technology will be used in creating adverts(you know those adverts that are from paper sticked on buildings).

Imagine after 15 years it will be a normal thing just like LED TVs which are now just $200

But without the proper input it's still just a fancy 4K Smart TV...😢

Didn't Panasonic already do this several years ago at CES?
It was a gimmick then and it's a gimmick now. A transparent TV makes no sense (it's why this TV has to have a background rolled out behind it) for watching TV. This is something that would only be useful for public displays or installations. And it will most likely cost an arm and a leg. Anyone remember the much hyped rollable TV that LG made a few years ago? Ever see that sold at a store near you? Oh right ......no. Nor did it ever enter mass production due to its exorbitant cost. Likewise....you are very unlikely to see this at a store near you.

When you make one that can pop up in the palm of your hand off your phone, let me know. Then maybe I'll buy one of those 'can you hear me now, personal tracking devices'.
