The S13 Nissan 240SX has always been seen to many to be the ultimate blank slate. You can do literally almost anything to them, their aftermarket support is great, and the sky is the limit. However I thought I had seen just about everything people have done to the 240SX - and I was very wrong. With one of the craziest engine swaps I've ever seen done to the S13, Jason has taken a Nissan Titan V8 truck engine and stuffed it into this small Japanese classic. With it's angry exhaust note, sleek silvia front end, and screaming supercharger there is no doubt this car captures your imagination. So what's it like driving a Nissan Titan swap 240SX? Scypheroth huh? Company i worked for 7 years used them on 8 fleet trucks. Not the notorious 2004/2005 but 2011-2014’s. Had 387,000 on a ‘11. Other than the “normal” rear end problems all we did were oil changes and normal maintenance. Timing chains, brakes and other consumable components.
I've literally had my titan sense 2006 and have never replaced a single engine part clown ass

I don't think you would like a stock titan engine in a small coupe, it just doesn't have that high revving high horsepower feel. It just has that heavy Torque for fun pulls from a stop, but with a rebuilt top end apperently you can get 40% more revs out of it even boosted.
I think it would be a product liability issue setting that monster lose to the general public.

I just wish they would’ve made the 350z/370z engine bay bigger, so engine swaps would be easier

@@deluxefusionsss4929 sorry bro i don't have a clue to where you can find one i looked a while back but i couldn't find anything i am gonna just drop the 5.6 in my 1986 Nissan hard body with the power the engine already makes alone stock in a hard body it will be amazing by itself anyway. going from an engine that probably barely makes just over a 100 hp to a 300+ hp engine. oh yeah night and day difference

Logan / Gursh it’s the dohc design and the high rpm... these motors are actually very good platforms when swapped to cars like 350z’s,370z’s,240sx’s,300zx’s etc....

Dude a Nissan Titan motor is already beast in the truck itself putting it into a lightwieght chassis like the s14 dude its a rocket ship but good luck keeping the power down man its insane on top of a supercharger !!! Holy moly

Love the VK56's. I'll eventually be swapping one into my 05' Xterra as it's somewhat common in the 2nd gen Xterra community. I must say though, seeing one in an S chassis is a first for me. Badass.

I love my Titan VK56 fbo tuned it pulls my dana 60 swaps and it did pull my sr s13. Only V8 I would use in a 240 would be a VK56 or a Vh45
I have the vk45de with two snails attached to it in my 240sx.
So the s13 comes with a Nissan truck engine (ka) and now has a swapped engine from another Nissan truck

It’s beautiful...I drive a N/A Titan and it made 605 on a Dyno...but I am excited to get her supercharged and hopefully some day soon!

My dad worked for Toyota and wanted to put a tundra engine in my V6 camero....hes gone now...wish we would have done it...just for the fact it would have been a great memory.

I've driven stock Nissan Titans and even in those, if you get one before 2007 if I remember correctly, they didn't come with traction control, at all, so it's SUPER easy to blow the tires off, almost impossible to avoid in rain, I know from experience

It reminds me of Benny (aka Mechanical Stig on Mighty car mods), when he took a Nissan Stagea (GTR Station Wagon), and put the Titan Engine in it with a twin turbo setup, manual transmission and awd, and running on E85. The hands-down coolest Nissan I have ever seen.
I love the car in this video too, including the colour, the body conversions, and the way it sounds!
That was not the VK56de titan motor, but it was its predecessor. It was a VH45de.
I've always wanted a vk swap but never went that extra crazy and thought it needed a blower!!! So much envy!!
