After driving the 700HP KA-T powered S13 240SX I was eager for more! My pal Timmy Ford bought himself a cheap Nissan 240SX and built an absolute monster of a setup. With 650HP KA-T and not a care in the world, this might be the most fun 240SX experience I've ever had. With Timmy so confident in his car being built right he challenged me to go full send and try and break his car! So what is it like driving a fast S13 without a care in the world? My 300zx. While I had a lot of fun with my s13 back in the day, no other car has been as much fun as my z32.

I wouldn’t call it “beat up”. That body is straight as hell and the interior is super clean. Just needs paint and it would be super clean.
it's got 95% interior, an oe core support that looks to be in good shape, and metal quarter panels. this is def an 8/10.
If you saw this in person you'd agree it's beat.

hi dere I sent the last video to my friend who just put a 2j in his. I said, “see I told you.” His exact reply was, “I think it’s a cool swap.” He did the swap after he had a blast driving my kat S14 also. A lot people want to say they have a 2j or a sr. I’m not saying all but, most.

I actually met this dude a few years ago back when I had my mazda mx6 and he had this rad datsun 240z, a few years later I now have a Mazda rx8, and he's got this cool s13 haven't seen him since we raced, but definitely a cool dude

The Nissan Altimas that came with ka motors are a blast too, I've had 3 of them one boosted and it's a whole different experience when its fwd 😂

This is why we got into 240sx's. Driving them like this was the norms when they were cheap throw away cars. Driving them now is like driving them on ice with the current prices. Man the memories 😪

David is actually a pretty damn good driver. Knows his limits too. Lot of people would get cocky on camera. Good stuff man.

Maintain it well and dont take shortcuts man, my 6-bolt swapped '98 GSX has almost 220k miles and I've been at 402awhp for 4 years now on a stock block, 10+ pulls daily but also use only OEM Mitsu parts and I'm a stickler on preventive maintenance
I’m at 300whp I bought it from an old couple and did all the maintenance and redid the entire cooling system after I got it and I beat the fucking shit out of that car and it’s been more reliable then a lot of my buddies cars
Now find a D21 Hardbody with a KA-T build.

i had a 95 Altima with 100 shot of nitrous and held like a champ! the iron block is what makes these motors strong. It's not a great looking engine but KA ftw!

R@mon’s KA-T 240 is what turned me into a KA-T fanboy back in the day
My buddy has a D21 Nissan Hardbody with a turbo KA and it's a fuckin blast! We take that thing to the beach whenever we go together. It's a tradition now since he got the truck free when he was 15 from his neighbor. I can vouch for them being a turd in stock form. Think he said it's making 380 whp and 398 lb ft of torque. It feels faster than that but maybe just because it's a lowered mini truck. They're not very heavy for a truck. Good thing he has nice tires and did a coilover conversion front and rear with a very nice 4 link setup in the rear.
Awesome video as usual! The car was great but the fact that the owner wanted you to go crazy was even more amazing! So cool that you got to just hammer on it like it was a rental! aha.

Forget about the terminator cobra, these two 240sx are the best reviews I've watched for a long time now.
This car is clean though, no silly kit or cut up quarters on it, and the pig nose....wow. That's one of the reasons I loved Malli's RB(well now JZ) 240sx so much was because it was clean af.

Ive wanted to build a ka since i learned about 240s back in 01' i just never got to it, but i always knew i didnt want a sr swap. My first 240 encounter was a RHD 400hp s13 coupe in a McDonald's drive through...been hooked since.

I was the 2nd fully built KA-T in Orlando back in 2004 with 370whp ... today its 462 whp.
You can break it if you shift from 3rd to 2nd on ACCIDENT :-)

I have a 2001 Altima Se. With the Original KA24DE Engine. Only 100k Miles.. It runs great. Rated at 160 Hp. But feels closer to 200. More tq than most 4 bangers 👌‼️
Ka has always been my favorite. Back in the far anytime aomeone would pull their ka and put a sr20 in i would grab their ka
