Lovely layouts!! They’re miniature works of art. I know that a lot of time and money has been spent on getting them to exhibition standard.

Great show! I always used to visit when i lived in Biggles.
My club, the Hoddesdon Model and Railway Club have a show on the last Sunday in May and the last Sunday in August. I’m trying to organise one at The Spotlight Venue in Hoddesdon to raise funds for a local charity for teenage cancer sufferers.
My main layout is a 00 gauge Dad’s Army layout - originally called ‘Walmington-on-Sea’, now known as Walmington/Yealmington as it represents the location of the television show Dad’s Army’.
Approximately ten years ago, I tried to make a little N Gauge layout and the train kept on derailing because I couldn’t see to join the track properly.
Adding the proper name of the town makes it suitable for running my Class 101 diesel multiple unit.
Biggleswade. Would I be right in saying Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border? If so, I’m going to be in next year.

Why does the movement of the trains in your video look so jerky. Is there a problem with the camera frame rate.
I hadn't noticed it my end. Ive had clips in the past where my phone seemed to struggle recording and displaying on the screen at the same time, almost like a lag, but seemed ok on play back. Anything that didn't I deleted so can't think of anything that should be in the video like that.
I'll have a proper video camera and be recording in 4k hopefully in the coming months so the quality will be a lot better, although I think the phone has done a perfectly good job when it comes to model railways.
