Excellent video; you really have a great voice for narration..perhaps not so good with Polish! My Mrs is from there, been on a fair few Polish trains, that layout capture it perfectly. After 15yrs together I still find the language difficult.

Thanks I think I can just about get away with Welsh but yes the polish was just beyond my reach 😆

I wish to take you to task regarding the pronunciation of Mothecombe... I had 3 Summer camps there whilst in the Boys` Brigade from Langley Berkshire. (1967 - 1969) The man who owned of the Village ,near Plymouth, and also several thousand acres around the area was Cmdr Mildmay-White told me the name of the Village is called Mother combe. Even though it is spelt Mothe Combe. I am sure lots of peoplle get it wrong!

Well I have heard of silent letters but not invisible ones! Honestly reading is hard enough with dyslexia they don’t need to start hiding letters my brain does that for me 😂 thanks for the tip hope you enjoyed the video

Sorry for making it a bit complicated to pronounce. Btw Wlk is just an abbreviation of "great". Alikes of Lt or Gt you see around road signs. Worked well to combine it with my wife's name :)

No problem, I saw on the risborough club site that you had named the layout after your wife so I did re-record that bit as my original attempt was no where near in my guess work of how to pronounce. Wonderful layout and beautiful weathering.

@@WesternSignalman at least i didn’t stick to the original name:) on the other hand there are now two mouthfull of tongue twisters. And of course thanks for the video. It was only my 2nd public appearance with the layout so a bit smug to see it on YT

One problem with exhibiting is that you rarely get enough time to have a proper look at everything else on show. I managed two frustratingly brief glances at your layout - one rapid walk-past followed an hour or so later by another almost-as-rapid walk-past - but that was enough to make it obvious that it's very, very good indeed. I'd definitely agree with Western Signalman's comment about the weathering. It's also nice to see that continental layouts, for so long shunned and/or scorned at British exhibitions, are at last being given the recognition and appreciation they have always deserved.

@@mikemorley3647i follow the rule that if you spend time weathering tracks and ballast, you shouldn't be running out-of-the -box trains

I missed this show sadly. Was interested in your comment on the 'Gaugemaster' system for remote uncoupling and noticed the couplers were grey rather than the usual black.
Please can you put details of this system on here if you have any on this system. Cheers!

I’m afraid I don’t have any information on the system the owner of the layout told me it was very good and rarely played up but of course because my camera was on it, it wouldn’t play ball at first 😆

Here is another pannier* fan, especially the 51xx class. (* or Matchboxes as we called them as a trainspotter in the 1950's at Slough!)

They are great Loco’s, my love for them comes from a particular pannier in a tv show about a blue tank engine, was always my favourite engine.

Tamzynowo Wlk.: Jeśli tory są zelektryfikowane to NIE WOLNO stosować napowietrznej sieci teletechnicznej. To błąd merytoryczny.

Wywalić słupy drewniane to żaden problem:)
