Idea you gave me - BBQ Sticks / Spaghetti Noodles / Biro pens depending on the model Scale - laid flat across the board - Tape down both ends - make a Soft Tool / Cut a rubber end on Pencil / Block Eraser / Lay the metallic Foil - Rub / Roll the impression.

Truly magnificent set up. I need a combination of this and some 'through' traffic. Wonderful, and great photography as well.

This is exactly the type of exhibition video I like. I find the background noise very distracting and spoils the video. The lower background sound and dropped volume while you offer information is excellent. I also liked the Google map at the start.

Some lovely layouts but in my opinion there is nothing worse than seeing something like a 14xx zooming along at a scale 50-60 mph, or a dmu doing 70-80!

some of britains finest layouts.....my favorite must be the GER S scale one.....very nice.....but cudos to the 2mm fine scalers...i couldn't do that.....cheers from germany....but ill stick to 00 british and H0 german.....

As an ex-construction chap, I can tell you the Staffordshire Blue's were some of the toughest bricks ever made (a compressive strength >56N/mm² compared to ~40N/mm² for some of the best stock bricks and 21N/mm² for the strongest Flettons) and almost impervious to frost damage, no wonder they were used so extensively on the railways. Plus they look great.

Good old polyfilla for me, cheaper and drys quickly, only just subscribed so will a keep a eye on the project

Great British style, Fine scale ( correct Scale/Gauge relationships). None of the set track, compromise solutions. ( 4mm Scale, 18.83 track gauge " P4", close to prototype wheel profile, etc. After close to 75 years connection with toy, model, and scratch built model rails...and a lot of " Armchair " Rail reading...I am now embarking on a True " Scale" Rail model suited to my abilities, dexterity, and prototype technology and mensuration: Queensland Government Railways, 1930s era, Steam, Mostly Wooden Rolling Stock, Imperial measurements ( Ft.& In.)...Scale 1:48 for 3'6" gauge...7/8 inch ( 0.875") Scale sizes easily produced in either Inch Fractions or Thou. Of Inch. Calibrated Tools available...( Micrometers and Calipers with Digital readouts.) 3D Printers for the more complicated parts, even entire Wagon bodies, frames, bogies etc. Micro-lathes and mills for metal features ( Sprung buffers and sprung draw hooks...) The Possibilities are endless...Another Lifetime Required.... As Winnie said in WWII... "Let's just B*****r on"... DocAV Down Under.
