I totally relate Heather. Like you, I am working on myself and sometimes past trauma can cause insecurities in a new relationship. It takes a lot of courage to talk to your partner about these issues so he understands where you’re coming from. Not telling him means that you’re not being honest with him and yourself . The key is to communicate in a mature manner and to continue working on yourself which you are doing. ❤
Bravo Heather . First off love the content. Second No, he should not be talking to an ex when he is seeing you. It's not being immature , its being completely present in your relationship. No body has time for anything else. Obviously whoever made that comment is young or of a different mindset. I get you because I am the same. Women need to id themselves as high value 24/7. You handled the situation with perfection. ❤
You were perfectly justified in saying how you felt Heather, communication is key 🔑. Plus setting the standards early on is key 🔑 as well. Im always team Heather! Hugs 🤗, Amy
I believe you did the right thing Heather. You talked to him and it's best to be honest now he knows and things can go forward. If you didn't talk about it you would have stewed and get upset that's when things can go bad. I'm happy for you. I too was in a marriage like you had I closed myself off so I'm proud of you to go on. Best of luck to you and your new man Hearher.
Heather..quick question: does Mr. Yellowstone know you have a Utube channel.?Just wondering if he listens in on you telling us about the dates etc. Im happy for you and glad your taking things slow. I enjoy your channel and all the great styling tips!
I am petite 5'3" with slim calves 14.5" circumference and it has been sooo challenging (for years) to find boots that fit under my knee and hug my calves. Most shafts are too high and calves to wide, feeling like wide fishing boots 😂
Ty so much Heather for all of your transparency and knowledge of fashion! I am 67 years old and still enjoy to “style”! Ha! You are so beautiful and I love seeing and hearing all that you do! Your new relationship is making you happy & that is so wonderful! I am so delighted for you both!👏 Now, about that comment from your viewer, I just had to speak up! I have been blessed to be married 49 years, 50 this coming June, to my high school sweetheart, and I know you were perfectly fine to communicate how you felt about him keeping in touch with her, he listened, heard your heart and dealt with it! Why the need to keep her as a friend? That “hiccup” (love that!) happened & you both communicated, talked about it together as mature adults would. Single “friendships “, with an ex outside of people you both are friends with, should not be welcome. Call me old fashioned but communications, vulnerability (& hormones! lol!) are still the same! Keep that relationship close to just the two of you , not three or more! Also I do believe what you said , God allows us to go through stuff to use that to help others etc. Ty for sharing and the possible after effects of toxic relationships. They are real as PTSD is real. When bad is happening to me, anything, physical etc., I can say “Lord what do you want me to learn from this and what is my take away?” Again Ty so much for your kindness and sweet gentle spirit! Many of us here appreciate you!🥰
💕Went to a meeting this morning and shared how family of origin impacted self-destructive choices I made in adulthood. That's why it's critical to remain self-aware and honor our feelings. You did good, kid. Love, D
Heather you were perfectly justified in saying how you felt. I was cheated on twice and that is a fear of mine that it could happen to me again. It is hard to put yourself out there.
Thank you for the fashion advice video and for sharing your dating life with your subs. I feel that you shouldn’t have to answer to people who criticize you. It’s your life. We should all be here to be supportive and encouraging and if you don’t agree to be kind. I totally agree though on what you asked him to do by not texting back n forth with the woman he previously dated. I would have asked him to do the same thing. It has nothing to do with jealousy to me. When you are committed to dating exclusively with someone you should not jeopardize that relationship by communicating with exes unless there are children from that relationship is involved. When you asked him to stop texting her you were simply making your feelings known to him.
Hi Heather ! I agree / Mr Yellowstone certainly is-handsome. Heather- You did the right thing asking Mr. Yellowstone to not text with the other woman. When I started dating my now fiancée his ex-gf started calling him. Fortunately he told her he had met someone he wanted to pursue a relationship with. We have lived happily after since. I wish the same for you.
I hate the way cropped jeans look with boots. You absolutely did the right thing with the talk with Mr Yellowstone. Definitely not a teen move. You were honest.
Your explanation on toxic relationship is sooo on and how it affects us when that happens is so very hard for anyone to understand if they have been through it. I think that yes perhaps your fear of other women is real, it’s great that Mr Yellowstone is so understanding in meeting your needs. I totally agree if you are in a committed relationship you should not be talking to the opposite sex people. Im so glad he was receptive & this is perfect. I would have said the same thing to Mr. Yellowstone. Trust, honesty and communication is very important in any relationship. When you've been mistreated in a relationship, you keep your eyes open.
I am truly just friends with multiple exes. They are absolutely no threat to any new relationship. Men and women CAN be just friends and want nothing more. Wouldn’t you want to know that of all the women in the world he chooses you? I hope you reach a level where you’re secure enough that it doesn’t bother you if he talks to someone else. Best wishes!

Seems like the young, immature kids like to remain friends with ex's, but once u get to a certain age, unless there are children involved, there's no reason to stay in touch. We move on, and u were right for saying tgat!
I did see that comment. It's not what i would have said. You did ask your viewers rgeir opinions, so I'm glad there's no ill will to the commenter. I don't follow any trends but still to the uodated classics 😊

That is a good guy Heather, he handled that well, very respectful. Very good analysis at the end, awesome you shared that with us.
Heather you awesome! I appreciate your transparency. Enjoy doing you! Thank you for not embracing some of the nonsense comments 😊

Mr Yellow stone is handsome man and you two are cute couples
I’ve always disliked the over knee boots. They just don’t look classy to me. Give me the classics 😀
You do not have to explain yourself to anyone about why and how you do things.
Pointed toe shoes and boots elongate the appearance of the foot. I am a size 9.5, need I say more. Never, EVER🤢
Oh my gosh! After 3 or 4 dates you said that? Shame on you! If I were him I would never contact you again!
