Girl I need to tell you... You look amazing! I been following you for a while and have been watching your "Glow up" a long the way. From watching you fall in love with fitness to watching your hair grow and look beautiful. I'm all about lifting other women up as we support each other in this community. I'm sure you're a inspiration to others besides helping them with their style. Congratulations on your RUclips success this far. Looking forward to watching you grow! Thank you for all the videos and all that you do❤
When the photo of her wearing the suede jacket on the park bench came up, I did a double take. She looks like a model!
Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate these kind words and yes let’s life each other up! 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
You said it very eloquently, I concur.
We need more people like you @fitandmoody1012 Thank you for your comment. I just now subscribed to you🙏
She is ALWAYS beautiful, but lately, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
You made a comment in a recent video that made a huge difference for me. I hate to say “life changing” because that has become so cliche but it kinda is for me. You said you stopped buying the smallest size you can fit in. I realized I have always done this as well and making this change was yes life changing 😂 This was probably the best advice in the history of RUclips fashion influencing. Thanks and Merry Christmas ❤
This comment reminded me of that show "What not to wear". Stacy said that sometimes buying a bigger size can make you look slimmer.
@@peace-a I miss that show!
agree

I like the term wardrobe essentials instead of capsule wardrobe
Me too! ❤️❤️❤️
Agree💕 Capsule sounds limiting but essentials sounds freeing, and with options- open ended.
I appreciate your videos so much. You are prepared, they flow and you don't waste people's time. You're very professional! Love it~
I used to wear that in the early 90s the light wash jeans, the black top and the black blazer with black boots😂😂 I have a curated classic wardrobe, but I probably have 20 pairs of pants.😩 I haven’t counted all my clothes, but I probably have 100 pieces or more but I’m old so that is my excuse. The stuff I buy never goes out of style, cashmere, sweaters, etc..😊
There’s nothing funny about the black with light wash jeans. It’s a classic look that always looks good. If done well of course
@@BrandyKat638it’s funny because what we used to wear to look trendy, is now classIc. When you get to be a “certain age” and have seen trend cycles repeat 2-3 times, you can tend to feel somewhat, hmmmm not sure cynical is the right word but you get the gist. I owned a pair of “horseshoe” jeans in 1978, I loved them then so was really excited about them when I first came across a pair last year. I didn’t like the bubble hem skirts the first time around (for me) but now that I know how to style them my way, I love them. I always hated skinny jeans. All this to say, yep, sometimes I chuckle about fashion. It’s not that serious.
I picked up multiple suede jackets on Posh. In new condition and exactly on trend. Cheapest was $10. Most expensive was full length chocolate brown suede coat. $33. There’s lots of affordable, gorgeous suede still out there. Very affordable!
That is amazing!! Great finds!
I am all about hunting down fantastic secondhand garments!
Me too.. it's such a fun thing to do!
I love the black with light jeans too! I always have!
How funny that today I am wearing a J.Crew striped button down with the long sleeves. It is a cropped style and it is one of my favorite shirts. I also wore their navy cashmere crewneck tied around my shoulders because here in Scottsdale, AZ it starts out cold and today it topped 80 degrees. Thanks for sharing the metallic silver pants with the white button down. I added a pair to my wardrobe this winter and I am looking forward to styling them with so many of my tops and sweaters. I also just ordered a pair of the brown suede Adidas Sambas. ECCO also has some great brown sneakers and they are so comfortable. I think red goes great with the leopard print. Love the light blue jeans with the black. I will have to try that look. Thanks for your videos. They are great.
Green is a great color on you. 💚💚💚
I want to share that I am getting a lot of year-round mileage out of knit tanks. I have several Shaker knits and a few fine=gauge knit tanks. They make great knit vests! I can't wait to wear my navy knit tank over a white stretch satin button down shirt with brown garment-dyed jeans. And the satin first layer is fantastic because knit layers slide over the fabric and always hang nicely. Knits bunching up or twisting on top of a cotton button down is a distracting detail. I hate feeling distracted and pulling and tugging on my layers all day. A slippery chiffon blouse is a good layer under vests and adds a sheer element. Wearing the tank UNDER the sheer chiffon is an unexpected twist, especially when the chiffon is toning down a sequin tank. I also love a collar showing under a crew or V-neck sweater. And when layering two shirts or a shirt and a shacket, it helps if the first layer is slippery.
I feel that light blue denim washes can be a more casual swap with white jeans and trousers. I love that people are wearing them year-round, and I love both with lots of different browns.
🤎💙🤎🤍🤎💙🤎🤍🤎💙
Blazer, basic top and jeans is a great go to look, for sure! Spring and summer (if not too hot) love it with white jeans! Leopard shoes always take a simple look to the next level and never look trendy!
Completely agree with the one leopard print item at a time. Spot on!
I live in LA and if it gets to 50 degrees we pull out gloves, parka and all the winter things! ❤
We recently moved from So Cal to the south where we get occasional snow. 50 degrees here is warmer than 50 degrees in LA. I think it’s because of the ocean - the damp cuts to the bone. It’s odd but true
I lovvvve that you talk about these trend AND keep in mind those of us in warmer climates (Houston area here). Thank you!
I love the black tops with light-washed jeans too!
Anna, I literally said “omg what a beautiful model!” when the pic of you in the suede jacket popped up! You’re OBVI a gorg woman but you look STUNNING in that picture! ❤
Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️ You are way too kind! 🥰🥰
Totally agree with you about only wearing one piece of leopard and pairing it with neutrals. If you pair leopard with more leopard or a loud color it makes the leopard look cheap.
Not only was I a kid in the 80's and loved preppy fashion but I love the sweater over my shoulders! It keeps them warm and I realized I really enjoy that. I will probably keep doing this even when it is out of style because it really does keep me warm and not overly warm like a coat or even a heavy sweater. I'm still not totally loving animal print. It went out in a BIG way a few years ago and I may need some more time before I'm on board with that one again.
I'm a size 11 and totally get the clown feet reference. 😅
I want a video on sneakers and dressier clothes outfits. Like how to style skirts, pants and dresses with various style of sneakers. Can you wear a stain skirt with sneakers other than Sambas? I have 3 colorways of the NB 327s and I struggle to wear them other ways than jeans, leggings or joggers.
Leopard-- i wore a leopard midi skirt at Thanksgiving with a burgundy top. Last night i went to a holiday concert and wore a leopard silk button down top, tucked into medium wash high-waisted wide-leg jeans, with a washed black Chaps denim cropped collarless jacket ("Chanel" style), and a burgundy bag and red Adidas. I put two vintage Christmas brooches on my jacket.
Excellent styling video! Love the white button up shirt paired with a more interesting bottom, leopard pants with a colorful top, sweater over the shoulders, and the light wash jeans with black top/blazer! Thanks for the suggestions and inspo ❤
Super helpful! I could never figure out if socks were ok for non teens. The images make it so easy to put outfits together. Awesome!!!
Love! All of these styles! I’m not a bow person either, but the 3 bows on the sweater the model was wearing is kinda cute! Love the green sweater you’re wearing. Beautiful color on you! Thanks! For another great video! 👍❤️😊
My favorite go-to outfit formula is a pair of high waisted jeans with a moderately wide leg, paired with a black T shirt or sweater. I have naturally platinum blonde hair and light, pink toned skin. This combination is killer with black! I add black pointed toe shoes and chunky gold jewelry. If it's cold outside, I love a black suede jacket and a gray leopard scarf. You have helped me hone my style, and I feel great in my clothes thanks in part to your advice.
Hello Anna. I love listening to you. I have some suede vintage pieces that stand the test of time every season. I just did a major wardrobe edit and 50% of what I had in my closet is out the door. It makes life so much easier. I think it’s important for women to stay contemporary especially as we age. I am 72. I posted a sequin miniskirt recently. It’s all in the approach! . I would post a few pictures for you if I could just figure out how.
If I may make one comment about button ups and button downs, a button down is a shirt that keeps the collar down with buttons as in a man’s shirt typically everything else that we see in the store for women is called a button up.
Have a fantastic week and I can’t wait to hear your next video. Sonia. Style Beyond Age
Love this, Sonia! I agree, I think it’s so important to stay contemporary and it also makes us feel a little better about how we Are showing up thank you for this! ❤️❤️
Yes Black and light wash denim. It reminds me of the nineties. Suede bring her on!! You are the best Anna❤
As always, I appreciate the content that you put together for us on a weekly plus basis. I like the idea of the capsule wardrobe because I travel on 21-day cruises and extended vacations, requiring minimal luggage with maximum impact (formal nights and fine dining). I would benefit from a long pleated skirt that I could travel with and have recently bought a few basic long flowy skirts for this purpose. It would be fun to use these principles to pack for travel.
No problem in the glove front, I live in Northern Ontario Canada, we wear them all winter and I likely have 20 pair for different weather and for look.
Me too! All the colours!😂
Spot on video. Cut-off rag wool gloves are trending here in DC. Clothes should drape, that only happens when your weight appropriate for your height.
Doing your wardrobe essentials, that is a great idea! I’m gonna absolutely do that! Thank you!
As someone who has lost 50+ pounds over the last 10 months (with 15ish more to loose), I'm working on creating a new wardrobe. I love the idea of "wardrobe essentials" and adding from that point. I think that's the way I will approach my shopping. Get the basics first. I even need shoes because my feet are smaller.
My husband loves B socks ! I wear black top/ sweater with light wash jeans often ! ❤
🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️
I loved this video. It was not the same old boring points! Thank you for using your own actual opinion! Appreciated!
Just picked up a faux suede beautiful green long trench coat from TJ Maxx. Such an in-between weather staple. Loving that green is having a neutral moment:)
Love the tip on leveraging lighter jeans with black tops - always pulling out those jeans this time of year and not sure what to do:/
Glad that was helpful! ❤️❤️
This was fabulous. Thank you. So helpful and you look great in this green 💚 sweater.
he variety of textures in the *yutulu* tpack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Thank you for these great ideas.
I also love the black top/blazer and booties with a lighter wash Jean. It always looks elevated.
The sweater over the shoulder thing just feels so preppy to me like it was when it first was popular…. Plus, it could be easy to lose if you don’t secure it.😁
New to your channel, great info! What brand is your favorite tee? You showed a white one with a thicker collar, it looks like the more quality one I need! I have the dry sweaties on AZ 😂
Good morning Anna .. i just love your segments. Your style is sooo on point. I love your hair and make-up .. so so cute
Thank you, Angela! ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for responding. !!
Another reason I just love you. Thank you for everything you do for us ladies!!!❤❤❤
Thank you for all your on point videos! Can you send me link to the outfit leopard wide pants w puffy sleeve white blouse?
I’d so appreciate it!
Can you do an episode on what to wear to an inauguration ball or party?
I have some new leopard slacks and a red wool- looking red puffy, long sleeve sweater, and I have received numerous compliments on the outfit.
I love your content, I always get good and practical ideas ❤
Yep the Nike Cortez run small! I had to return mine for a larger size too. Love the brown suede ones!!! Glad you pulled the trigger!
Have always loved light wash jeans with black!
That’s so funny you said white shirt and sequin skirt! I just ordered a little black sequin skirt to wear on Christmas with my white shirt, black tights and some cool jewelry! Also love black turtleneck with light jeans and black shoes! Great minds think alike!😂
Merry Christmas to you and the family Anna!❤️
Love the idea of the suede midi skirt. Can you style it and demonstrate how versatile it is?
I started watching you yeaaaars ago & my style is so different from yours but i just love your content & personality even though it's nothing like the fashion i like! love you! *yutulu*
Size 10 shoe here too. People with small feet have no idea how blessed they are.
I have a hard time with the essential lists. I’m a redhead and black, gray and white are so harsh for me. I finally figured my essential lists and I use chocolate brown, camel, olive and ecru instead.
Agree about the light wash jeans with black, but only if the black top covers your hip area. Color theory tells us that light colors advance and dark colors recede, so if you are trying to make your hips look smaller (and some people are), you don't want that area covered in a lighter fabric than your upper area. Any part of you covered in a lighter color is going to look BIGGER, and that's not a trend; it's simply the way the human eye (forever and always) perceives color.
Love your videos and am wondering where in Florida you are? I am in south Florida and would kill for 30 degree mornings. We may move further north at some point. The year round summers are killing me. :)
Northern Florida! It actually gets cold here 😀❤️
@ I love that. I’m originally from MA and do not miss the long winters there AT ALL but after living in Charlotte, NC for 18 years, my husband’s job moved us to Palm Beach County and while I was looking forward to eventually retiring in FL, I wasn’t prepared for the year round heat here. We are looking in the Jacksonville area and haven’t been to the panhandle, but I definitely miss the fall most. Love your channel and your style. ♥️
Beautiful *yutulu* Collection!
loveeee *yutulu* you got a lot of my dream bags
I have some leopard pointy toe flats from Amazon. Love them with an all-neutral outfit! ❤
💯 on the light denim with black on too❤️❤️❤️ & also agree: big NO with colorful too with leopard. The leopard (which i do love) is the statement so leave it alone. One leopard piece with a neutral is chic, but with a bright color, it suddenly looks v tacky to me.
Great content, Anna. I love your top😊
5 degrees here in North orf England 😮 so lots of warm clothes and gloves!! But got to say multiple layers of leopard can look fabulous ( need to be the same tone though)gotta be bold to go for it 😊
Im in New Zealand watching You summer here so great to see what you're talking about for the winter Gals on the East coast freezing size of the State's which resonates with me for next winter 🎉
Love light wash with black or very rich brown. A go to combination for years.
Anna…. I live in Jacksonville and am loving that I can actually dress this time of year without melting. Lol. Thanks for the great tips.
I love bombas , didn’t know they had cashmere socks. Will have to try them. 🤩💛
They are so good! ❤️❤️
Same! I think I need to add them to my Christmas list.
I love that you said you have a size 10 foot! I am only 5'4 and wear a narrow 8.5-9, I loooove a red shoe but cannot wear them because they look like directional arrows on my feet!!!! So sad! 🤭😉
Never thought of suede anything for a summer look. Love it and have many shoes, purses, jackets, etc. but only wear it in the winter, which in Upstate New York, seems to be most of the time! lol! Have to rethink this 🤔
❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍
What is the secret to buying a button down that doesn't look like work wear i love the look of them on ither people i have many white shirds the only one I wear is my oversized linen one looks a bit more casual is there a secret to the fabric to get a certain fit ?
I think it’s what you pair it with. If you do a pair of jeans and flat / low heel shoes it will look more casual but pairing it with trousers or a pencil skirt would look more like work wear ❤️
Such a good…video! Excellent 🙌
Another good video. One thing, though: a "button-down" shirt is not what you're showing. It's the name for shirts with button holes at the tips of each collar, that button down to the shirt body just under the collar tips when the collar is in place (not popped). These are usually worn by men. Everything else is called simply a button-up shirt. :)
Came here to say this.
@evelinabusa1877... Button down collar shirts are "Oxford" shirts.
Magnifico video. Qua in Italia fa freddissimooooooo
I love the brown shoes on you!!!
My vote is for a white button-down with French cuffs (the cufflinks make the look)!
I just got a cure brown/multi-tone suede Converse
brown suede jacket with the gold buttons. LOVE IT. do you have a link?
Someone said below about white button down shirts. I am in the UK and white shirts and dark blazers are school uniform. I think it would be folly to wear them in my town - one would be asked if you've kept your old school blazer or if you are on your way to a funeral. Even short dark jackets are fraught with peril. To the pub, I wore a cropped navy jacket, navy wide legged trousers, white top and a colourful scarf thrown negligently over my shoulder. I was told I looked like an air hostess.... I'm thinking of abandoning the whole workwear vibe.
Keep doing you and your consistency and not willing to bend to their opinions will eventually persuade some to change. I wore a trench coat to work and someone said I looked like Inspector Clouseau. This is a woman who wears spandex all day, every day.
Ahahaha good one! I am in Sicily, where most women wear black... even to weddings! The daring ones put on dark grey or dark brown 🙄. Puffa coats! In a city of 116,000 I know FOUR elegant women
@@cavelleardiel Thank you for your support. I was thinking I might get one of those little pillar box hats to complete the ensemble - perhaps you could get a deerstalker!
@@mariecurie7491 I'm sure you make the fifth.
I wore a silk scarf to work and one of the children in my class told me I looked like a stewardess 😂
I always look forward to your posts. You do a great job with what you show, and how to wear or not wear items. I also have size 10 feet. Plus an oddly shaped toe once broken and a bunion all on my right foot. Online shoe shopping? LOL, not for me. Totally agree that one item in leopard print is nice. More just looks Halloween costumey.
I do love suede skirts
Anna you look beautiful. I hope you are enjoying cooler weather ..we finally in SF have some sweater weather too. Ah how I missed that. I agree gloves in our climate it’s little bit hmm but you know I don’t really care if it goes with styling, I will wear 😳🤪😜 if you wear sleeveless but warmer dress, then long leather , or I prefer cashmere fingerless gloves, would be perfect 🤔 I have Old Celine cream sleeveless dress pair with Magda butrym cream hood with scarf long cashmere gloves, like almost sleeves, it’s such a perfect winter outfit, and can be worn any year 😜 I will skip suede, unless I get bag. Love jeans. I probably going to invest in Phoebe Philo brand full zipper through legs, ones. Hoping she will come out with new color in January. She had interesting white color, but now she has like tie dye color and light yellow. i would prefer more classic color 🤔 I don’t think I am getting any leopard. print. Have a few pieces of Boa snake print, that’s close enough. Trends are dangerous, to the pocket 😂 I am not jumping on each, but Chloe boho chick kind of got me.😫 I got zimmerman lace blouse I will wear with jeans, but now I am looking that I need lol want boho sunglasses. Never cared for aviators, but recently saw Cassie video, and I am so in trouble, I want crazy priced sunglasses . They can’t come out of my head 😂😂😂 and I want in gold color. I saw on preloved sites in white gold half price , that it’s amazing deal, even still eye watering price 😳🤪😂😂😂 so hoping it will show up the color I want 🤔 hopefully soon. Have a blessed day🙏❤️
*yutulu* Stunning collection congratulations
Love your style sense!! Thank you, Anna, kd
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
You are wearing that Christmas green Anna🌺🥰🎄
Yes! love the French cuffs, or similar styles. I came to realize that I can not stand that "no iron" swishy stiff fabric. That no iron fabric is unforgiving. Not easy to tuck in and makes a swishy sound when you move in it. I like a soft fabric with a nice, well fitting drape. And the buttons have to be positioned so that I can show my necklace/s. Where can we find that?
Love your channel..are the Adidas true to size? I’m a true 8.5 and have been on the fence to order
Wow 172K subscribers! Way to go!
I have a size 10 foot too Anna ❤
I love your taste, it's about change and, I like that, but it's not too edgy. Need these suggestions to stay out of a rut! Many thanks.
Thank you!
those "items everyone needs" I think are a good starting point when someone is completely overwhelmed and doesn't know where to begin. But like you said, essentials are a little different for everyone. I would never buy a "classic" beige trench coat for example. They bore me to death. I have a dark gunmetal gray one that I love and that goes with everything. Finding one's color palette and general style vibe is key here. A white button down can mean many things.
Not into the bows either. Love your videos.
Thank you, Debbie! ❤️❤️❤️
Late to comment…Question: What about pantyhose this spring. I’ve seen them advertised recently, but wondered if they are still a spring dress no no…
What about fashion for the mountain town gals

@@SallyPatrick-bb1ku Thrift stores men's section. I got mine for $3. Had to make some new holes with a screwdriver, but get many compliments on it.
I have size 10 feet too. I’m 5’4”, 120 pounds and my kids call me “big foot Bob”. I really have to watch the shoe style and have you noticed that there’s not a big selection in the larger sizes?
Can you please talk about your hair routine?
I’m using a Halo! It’s like extensions but wayyyy easier
I would love to see pastel suede accessories for spring 2025 💗
They are coming! ❤️❤️
Just fyi, button down shirts are the ones with the little buttons on the collar. I think you're talking about button-ups.
I agree that suede looks good on almost everything but there is one place that it doesn’t and that is on tennis shoes.
