If you haven't seen Moses brilliant video yet I suggest you do so after you've watched this one. I've already seen it several times and I love it. ---> ruclips.net/video/8VIVE8itonw/видео.html

Hello my friend! If you have some sort of a spring or small river nearby you can try to implement some sort of mini hydro power station in addition to solar!
Subscribe to his channel. Love it!
@@joshhhab yes! That is the plan!
Moses video was hilarious and totally whacky. It was good to watch and I hope he gets to live his dream of staying on his place full time.
How far away is his cabin from yours?

The house will be there a long time, the cellar will be there a long time, but a child only remains so for a short time. Bravo to you for rearranging your priorities for his sake. You will never regret it.
Spot on!!
I agree ❤️
I am Deborah 73 from Idaho in the USA. Sometimes experimenting with things is the best way to learn about them. You will figure it out. Your baby boy is beautiful. I hope everything goes well for you and your family. May the Lord bless and keep you. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Your place is looking so pretty and green.
Working around small children is very time consuming. We have always found for roughly the first 2 years they need so much help and care, but after that they get easier to work around. You are doing a beautiful job of attending to Ivar’s needs and taking him with you as you work. It’s a much slower way of doing things in the short term, but in the long term I think better for all of you.
We know the frustration of projects going so slowly. We have a shed that has been at a stand still for far too long. It is part of starting an off-grid farm/homestead from scratch I think. There are just so many things that need to be done and unless you have a big budget (and like you, we definitely don’t have spare money) that progress can be painstaking slow.
You guys are building a beautiful life and doing great. All good things take time.
I agree completely. They're only little for a short while. Best to get those baby snuggles while you can. Projects can wait.
Your son is amazing ! He is going to be a force to be reckoned with. I love your beautiful videos . You both are great parents. Don’t ever get a television you are raising a nature lover. Greetings from Pennsylvania. 😇
That boy is really growing isn't he
He sure does :)
Beautiful filmography Matthias! Beautiful family! Family 1st...and then all other details will come together in time. You are touching on 'many projects' at one time...so in your youth...a natural impatience arises. Of course, it will be better when so many things are done, but enjoy the gifts that be = your lovely home life of simplicity and healthy living along with the greatest gift = little man Ivar. I luv watching him thrive. You are wonderful parents! I think and pray for you often. Thank-you most kindly for sharing your blessed lives with us. Health, safety and God Bless! :)
Sawhorses -- that is the name of those breaking-benchy-things you will soon rebuild. Real Life- Authentic living takes time from what our imagination comes up with during slow seasons like Winter time. Go gently and thank you for sharing all that you do. You three are often in my thoughts during my day to day. Skol, from Northern BC Canada

Such a handsome little boy ❤️,always happy to see a new video posted by you guys
It’s so nice to se that Ivar’s playground and “toys” are not the plastic junk that most kids have. He is developing his imagination with everyday things found inside and outside. Very refreshing. Donna, Mike’s wife, Arizona U.S.
Hi Donna .. I agree … also he s walking on uneven land which is helping and accelerating his coordination and leg strength … loved how he grabbed the branch and sifted blueberries with his little fingers … he learns very quickly …
my daughter at 6 weeks of age had congenital dislocated hips but surgery helped. She was in a cast waist to toes for 6 weeks or so … I had a sling made in the crib with an opening with a bedpan under her (no diapers) … also surgeon left an opening in the cast needed to turn her back to front Surgeon said watch her toes carefully… as she grows into the larger body cast .. the toes turn blue..
she grew into the cast … time to bring her to hospital… when they cut the cast off both legs were burnt from urine seeping into the cloth wrapping inside the cast, an inevitable issue.
She spent a full week in the burn unit but recovered nicely. This condition was caught by chance during an ER visit for another issue.
I love you videos beautiful Swedish family. And I love when you speak Swedish, my husband is Danish and I can understand some of what you say and it's lovely, the Swedish language is very beautiful.
All you do is hard, but so wonderful, so rewarding.
I know you feel there's not enough time in the day to get everything done. That you wish to get done. I think God gave us children to help us learn patience and to be humble. Humble that god gave us such a precious gift in the first place. And patience to help them to learn and grow. Their with us such a short time before they go off on their own. So don't stress to much about not able to finish all the projects you want done. Ya'll are doing great job with what you have. And the time you got to do things. Love your videos. Please keep making them
19:42 mud puddles are so magnetic for children 🤣
I have never smiled as much as I have since signing on to your videos.
It's so heart warming to see Ivar eat all the wild berries with gusto
On Simply Living Alaska's channel you can get ideas for lots of things. I think they store their batteries in a cooler outside. They are a young couple trying to live off the grid like you two. Both of your channels are inspirational to me.
Yes, I envisioned a sort of lean-to highly insulated outhouse adjoined to the house, but that's another project. I wonder if an old freezer (for the protection, insulation and structure), painted black would be too unsightly?
Your house & your land get bigger, warmer and lovelier.
Your life appears so peaceful. I envy you. I realize how hard you work but your efforts are paying off!
"Here's my field of weed." :D Pretty funny that it would be no problem to say in some parts of the world. Wish we could grow whichever plants we wanted.
Love you guys! So cute how Ivar kept looking for a person to wave goodbye to ;p You're doing great! I know it's sometimes hard to remember that the way is the goal:) I'm really happy that my 3 year old is now really keen to help in the house and feeding the animals. Even if it's still resulting in a bit more work than help ;) But we're getting there.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. Ivar is growing so quickly.
Strawberries that you plant (not wild) in English ee call 'cultivated'. Remember to appreciate how much progress you have made, even though th prjects may not be completed you have done a lit. One day you wil finish everything you've started for your family and will really vbe something special
Ivar is a big boy already and so handsome 🙋🏻♀️😊 love watching your vlogs and i love the scenery its all green. you have a wonderful family 💖
Hello from S Nevada USA … So very hot
here 116 F average last week so compared to your negative -17 F last January … I enjoyed binging a few videos which I had missed.
Both of you will look back on this period in your young lives filled with love with having some struggles amist all the beauty of the forests with changing seasons as the best years of your lives.
Embrace the challenges … stay strong and healthy … best wishes always !
I was amazed how many berries I had after I covered them to prevent the birds and squirrels taking them all. As soon as I’ve harvested enough I uncover them and let the animals finish them off. That’s fair.
Regarding your strawberries, the propagation of successful strawberries is dependent upon it's runners. Your first patch will do poorly but your runners will do well. When your runners fruit, maybe next season, very slowly pull the beginners one by one until you're left with runners. It's frustrating but it's how strawberries grow sometimes.
Iver scrubs the tub in his business attire. 🥰😆🤣👍🏽👍🏽
WHAT ADORABLE LITTLE boy you have he is SO SWEET WONDERFUL VIDEO from AMERICA
The battery management system "clicking" is probably relays opening and closing to control charge current.
The switch is probably to adjust cut off voltage; how much to change batteries.
Generally a really full charge over time can hurt the battery, but for a short term use can be OK.
Consider making a vault underground for the battery. It would be more stable thermally and if there was out gassing, it would be outside.
Look around for a contemporary battery manager. They can be inexpensive ($20-100 US), are silent, provide charge rate and battery status.
Some have USB ports for charging phones and device and tracking systems to turn the solar panels (personally I would add more panels before tracking; it can be a pain).
Thank You and GOOD LUCK!
Great to see you all again.
Hej,började följa er denna sommar och har nu tittat på alla eran videos,ni är otroligt ljuvliga att följa, gillar er skarpt och Ivar är en härlig liten grabb.Hälsningar från Finland🇫🇮❤️❤️
Tame strawberries and dog sledding!! Love it!!
Love little 'Ivar the Disruptor' ... a precious joy that holds things up in the most delightful way. Please consider outside help ... it's ok to adjust as you have with Ivar. There are amazing people all over the world ... the right ones will appear if you go that pathway. Helping hands is how things got done in the past. You've already set the foundations ... please consider your timeframes ahead. The world is experiencing challenging weather and you don't know what is ahead. Be prepared. You are safer than many ... if you accelerate a little. Those who love your channel truly want you to benefit on all levels. Love from Brisbane, Australia 💚
Tova: huskie racing! That is so awesome.
Continue as you are doing.the important things come first then worry about the rest.you are doing an excellent job.

I so enjoy your videos. Your son I are is absolutely beautiful and growing. You are always so cool calm and positive despite setbacks beyond your control. Your swimming in the river was unexpected but good. Great video. See you soon. Tom in Minneapolis, MN USA
Ivar is one healthy, happy baby! Farms always have things the need done, just make a list of most important to least important and go from there. I have to do that when I get over whelmed with things.
Oh dogsledding I LOVE watching these races called "mushing" How awesome Tova! It must have been such an experience. Huskie dogs are so powerful and love just running I truly admire them
The footage of your child is timeless and priceless. Thank you.
Thanks for posting and sharing. Great to hear your progress report.
Precious little boy. He is strong, happy, and very smart. He'll be able to help you with little chores around the house and property very soon!
He already does :) sort of
Ivar sure loves his blueberries, and he is growing up so fast, you are doing great and your are always willing to try things even if you don’t know everything about, but that’s how we learn. Love to you all.
Thank you so much for sharing your life with us💛
Such a lovely soothing watch. I enjoy your calm nature and slow living lifestyle. Beautiful drone footage of the forest, thank you for that! I also love your clothes, such good quality. I don't, however, miss those baby/toddler years, however, cute they might be ha ha ha
Love the cute baby boy , he has grown up day by day, it is sure a great joy for the family. It seems too much things come up that make you feel anxious. Follow your heart, difficult time will pass.
Hahahahaha, that very last moment with Ivar when Tova offers him berries.... hahahaha, it took a moment, but he was absolutely gonna stuff those all in his mouth in one go. I would too, way to go Ivar, hahahah :))) He knows what's yummy alright!
Your land is so beautifully green right now. It's awesome to see.

Your videos are a work of art...truly...enjoy your peaceful lives...you are truly blessed.
Great to see the place in many shades of green !
Have a good week … 🙏☘️😘
I agree with one of the other comments ,,,look into a jackery . they may offer you a deal given you are a serious off grid living couple they may desire to have you as sponsors of their systems . many off gridders in North America rely completely on the systems jackery offer and they are apparently very user friendly :) great video always great drone footage some of the best on youtube for sure .. :)
I love the verdant beauty of your summer weather!
I delight in watching Ivar enjoying fruit & the environment.
love watching Ivar play n now he has started walking he is busy doing his own activities . He is one adorable kid ,Take care guys.
Always inspiring and refreshing. Little man is getting so active and verbal. Enjoy, it goes fast!

Loved seeing you all since a while again. So lovely to hear nature‘s sounds and feel so much space in the way you observe and catch it all into film. That‘s what our world needs more of. You‘re all adorable🌹💙
You’re perseverance is so inspiring, after not seeing a few videos I’m amazed at how much you’ve accomplished. Thank you for giving us this beautiful glimpse into your lives, it really lifts my spirits! Sending best wishes from California. xxoo
Great Job..
really very heart touching video you are making for us. I can guess how deep you both are connect with down to ground.
Finished one job at the time and and then to another one ❤️👍
It is joyful and comforting to see another video in these times. Thank you. from Washington State, USA
Whenever I am feeling down and despondent with life, I watch your videos. It gives me such a sense of peace and tranquillity. You both work so hard and I am not saying your life is easy but it is free and quiet. Thanks for sharing
So many things about this video I loved! The difference from snow to green, how much Ivar has grown, the sheep, the gardens are beautiful and the sled dogs were a treat to watch. I love your family dynamic and how you care for each other. I hope I get to watch for a long time!
wonderful! thanks so much for sharing this time with us.
We always enjoy your content and that you share your struggles and wonder of Sweden. Keep going! Best Regards from British Colombia Canada.....
Ivar loves the outdoors! He's growing up so fast, goes as fast as his 'lil legs will take him. Loved hearing his giggles. It was good to see you all this week. I really enjoy the drone footage, so neat how you fly through the trees, over the tops, underneath, taken in, I almost feel like a bird flying. The solar will sure make a positive difference in your life. Hope everything works out for you. Look forward to your next video.
It's good that you can fix the solar yourself.
I enjoy watching your channel and I love the
simplicity of your lifestyle.
Nice episode. The part with the chicks and Ivar in the grass is very beautiful.
I feel so privileged to be able to watch the content you create. What a beautiful family you are and little Ivar is growing by the second ! Love from Northern Ireland by way of Pennsylvania 💚
Work and chores will always be there. Childhood comes once. I think you're doing great. Those beautiful summer days swimming will be some of your fondest memories.
Love watching all the projects and the cutest little boy ever 💜
Amazing life in the woods, keep going.
Good luck 👍
Super cool getting an old solar system box going, I love the frugality. I want to learn that stuff too. A man at my old job grew up at a house that had windmills which charged up their batteries from the daily winds off some nearby mountains, then at night the house had electricity from them.
welcome back friends. Yes, seems so, overwhelming & so true, after u have a baby, no time, much for other things. Love seeing him grow, i don't like being wet either Ivar, i get grumpy too. , he sure is inquisitive too, babies & small children are so fun to watch . Awww, baby chicks, tfs all u do. I have 30 swiss chard, few tomatoe & 5 cucumber plants growing. Weeds, yes, they grow no matter what ! We were late too, & we don't even have any babies, any more, my babies are 49 & 50 this summer. Nice old tractor, Rich's dad left him, his old tractor, it won't start , but a friend coming to work at it. So cute, he stopped climbing over u to wave, i was waving back. Loving the sound of the stream too. yum, blueberries, so nutritious. tfs guys. see u all next time 👍🙏💖💙💙
Your land looks so beautiful and lush. Do one project at a time and you will see better results.
Love you guys!
Lovely. Thank you Dears 3! Everyday is different. Your life journey is all about GET BUSY.
🥰
Yes, parenting is 24/7 but it gets better. He really is a beautiful boy. Love seeing him. Thanks for sharing.
You're brilliant parents. Ivar is allowed to experience nature and learn from it. Don't be too disappointed about the slow progress. In 10, 20, 30 yrs you'll all look back and be thankful for the beautiful life you've created for yourselves. Wishing you well from Sydney, Australia
Im from the Philippines and i like watching your vloggs. You are a nice hard working loving couple. May You be blessed and successful in your endeavor.
I'm with you on the late start in gardening.
& my chicken coop also needs a good cleaning.
Parenting is the best thing God gave us to do & I say you are doing well at it all .
Good parenting is a tremendous responsibility and not the greatest thing a human can do . Saving our planet would be the greatest and that includes the best kind of parenting.....choosing to be responsible and have one or no children. There are currently 3x the number of humans that the Earth's resources can sustain. I pity the children....
Hello from Thailand.
Your lives are pretty amazing.
Ivar has a wonderful life and great parents. And he is Super Cute!
Thank you for sharing your peace and happiness.
The Baby is getting Big and he is so darn cute. He brings a smile to our face. Hope you both are staying healthy and thanks for sharing your lives:)
One lucky small boy to be able to explore his surroundings. Most children don't have this opportunity.
Maybe you could invite your friends from the seminar about sustainable living to have a great moving of the lower half of the entry room. Sort of a half barn raising. Bet they would love to participate.
This is my new favorite channel😍❤ My dream to have this kind of life,❤❣ keep safe and God bless and your family...
Just wanted to say I have been watching since December and I love all of your videos!
Blueberries are one of my daughter's favorite as well. I know first hand its hard to keep up everything, but thank you for sharing with us!
I at is growing so fast. They grow up so quickly. Having a baby/toddler consumes your days, but it’s not forever. You may not get to a lot of projects, but you are giving him such a rich life.
Love your videos. I look forward to each one.
Nice too see you guys! 🌞
Love little Ivar !!
It's wonderful to see Ivar out enjoying nature. We don't see that very often in America.
Keep stay safe to your family Aver fast growing so cute baby boy iam happy to see you have vlogs god bless you Comings from the Philippines
you guys are awesome people, respect
Maybe a few friends could spend a day and do one project at a time. Get one done and onto the next.... I know it’s difficult with a little one- I had 3 little boys to tend to after the marriage ended and there were days I just got them in the area I was working at or in ... other days it was just their day. Whatever they wanted to do 😄. They’re grown now and on their own .. but I remember and cherish each memory. I’d not change one minute. Eventually it all got done - especially doing the wood for winter
You guys need help. I feel so connected to you that it pains my heart to see you so overwhelmed and so I am upping my Patreon contribution a bit (as I can afford to do it I will and it won’t go backwards I promise you).
That is so nice of you Susan
I so enjoy seeing what you can do with maternity leave. I had 10 wks with my premature son and that was by grace,6wks when I adopted. Working meant 18hr days when I moved us to the country and had goats, chickens and was homeschooling before work. I followed the directions to build a chicken tractor but it fell apart in 2 wks, son said he learned mom is terrible carpenter. Daughter loved tasting stuff right up til she decided good hay smells better than it tastes, was funny to see her chomping down on the hay though. Loved using the whole as a baby minder.
I wish I could do more kids; you are so dear to so many of us out here in 'cyber-land'.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. We are just living life... and I enjoy watching how you all live yours...🌲🏡
Edit: Baby is adorable!!
