      I still will say you and your family have the best and most peaceful and blessed life ever even with all the challenges. When one grows up in nature like your child is then he/she will get to know your ancestors through nature and I believe that is how things should be if one wants to be healthy in both body and mind. Can't say I am not jealous lol.

    Another lovely video, and I like the way it opened. I was delighted with the fast-paced scenes and knew I'd be seeing lots of good things. The word 'prepper' shows you how disconnected most people have become from practical ideas. What once was necessary and smart is now reduced to prepping for the end of the world, as some say it in the U.S. Recently, I canned some pickled vegetables and had friends asking if I was hoarding food for an apocalypse. Honestly, I like knowing where my food is from, and homemade tastes so much better than anything in the store. So many have forgotten what could happen if the power grids go down, and our refrigerators/freezers no longer work. You're doing a great job on your home and with Ivar. I'll be following your adventure from here in Louisiana.

    Again, the filming is fantastic. Love the way you showed the flowers, the butterflies, the insects, the lake, mother and child, father and son, the angles you picked were just so artistic, excellent jobs. But the one who really stole the show is Ivar. His smiles, laughs just melted your heart. Watching him tried to build a cellar, mend the machine...... is never too early to learn, right?
    So glad your projects are coming along nicely, keep it up, don't let the challenges stop you.

    What a wonderful family! You can call it mould or framework for the cellar etc. I had to slow down that last piece of drone footage through the forest so that I could see it more at nature's pace and enjoyed it more. Love what you are doing. Ivar will be a very well rounded person. Would love to be a part of a community. Lots of families try to play "happy families" but with yours it seems to happen naturally and that's superb! Stay well. 💙🌳💚

    Beautiful video! Your artistry is really advancing! It was very cool getting a birds eye view of your sheep rotation. Also great to see your cat and dogs again, Mysak is such a sweet old guy, I hope he is doing well and we get to see him for a long time to come. Wishing you all well and thank you for sharing. Your videos always bring me peace and grounding.

    I think what you meant by mold is form( term here in U.S.) It was so nice to see your father and friends helping you with your projects. Even your wife setting bricks was quite impressive along with the little helper too! We have been blessed to receive much needed rain here in west Texas, so much so that the desert mountains are so green. So many huge butterflies that I have not seen in many decades. God Bless and good health to your family.

    Cheese mold. Mold that grows on cheese. Cheese mold. A mold used to form cheese. I was happy to here you had so much help. A lot of progress this summer. Can you use a mix for the foundation. Like dirt clay and chalk.. I have never seen a foundation done in this manner. Thank you looking forward to more vlogs.

    • @Talasbuan
      @Talasbuan  3 года назад +1

      We have no idea about what to put as wind proofing on the inside, Clay is very expensive to get here and there are no clay naturally in the ground around here. It is easier to get some kind chalk mortar.

    • @sishowser848
      @sishowser848 3 года назад

      @@Talasbuan we use mortar the same as you used for the cheese cellar. when they fix old stone foundations here thats what they do. They put numbers on the stones so they know where to put them back. they take out so many at a time cement them back in place. Cement is what you call mortar. mix i part mortar with 2 parts sand. thats cement. Its the best way to do it. Its a long process. so i am thinking maybe cover the rocks inside with dirt. that will give you time. then you can work on cementing the rocks in. you only need to do the ones on the outside. another idea is to make cladding and use that. Good luck. My family builds new homes and remodels old homes. feel free to message me with questions and i will do what i can to help.

    Your films are always so inspiring... to enjoy nature is beautiful...
    I miss the Australian bush where I grew up in the outback on a sheep station... 28,000 acres 15 working dogs and horses... You handle your sheep so differently, but it's suits your situation... I used to have pet lambs (bottle fed) though, so I can relate!
    The scenery is breathtaking, and sooo welcome... just an hour outside Sydney Australia... say no more...!!!
    So wonderful to see the hard earned progress...and hope you achieve what you need to before the winter sets in...
    Never seen snow, but it looks like a lot of hard work when it dumps itself! And it can be fun too!
    Love the dogs... beautiful and with so much character too!
    Just thank you so much for sharing the joy of it all!
    Looking forward to more,

    Again another beautifully crafted video that held me spellbound while glimpsing a snippet of your life in the snow. Don't listen to all those who pick holes in what you do... it is what it is and you don't do anything without thinking it though from every angle your words have shown me this.
    Living in the heat these last few weeks we've had temperatures in excess of 40⁰ C I have wished I was living in the northern countries with snow so thanks for the look into your lives and sharing young Ivar cute antics he is so adorable. Hope you workout how to level your boards for the floor which I'm sure will be great... I grew up in a home made by my father and I could feel the love put into it that makes it an extra special home made with love the grease for this crazy world we live in. Again thanks

    Always love your cinematography and sensible, measured explanations. Don't mind the critical comments - you know if your work is regenerative, you're living there and know what practices are effective. I'm always amazed at what unsolicited, unfounded critical wrong comments folks leave on my channel and others', and try to pay them no mind. Keep living your authentic life and working with the land and your animals as you see fit. Appreciate your videos.

    make sure you use LIME in your mortar mix for sealing in the stones interior .. if you just use a cement based mortar it will not be breathable with the stones ..stone foundations using lime and portland can last for centuries if done properly .. beautiful video .. great work :)
