Really cool car, smart interior with well thought out ergonomics and design, articulate yet quality material choices, creating a upscale and higher-level experience than a Tesla.

That is a feature of the automatic level control in the recording device. Background sounds are amplified when no other sound is present. Nevertheless, you can hear the motor some in a Lucid. Many, including myself, find it to be pleasant. It is a genuine mechanical sound, not an artificial sound played over the audio system as is so common today. Even many gasoline cars today make synthetic engine sounds in the cabin because of the increasingly strict noise regulations placed on cars.
