I kept giving up though because I don't have natural talent for art, and I was self-sabotaging by discouraging myself over and over. I saw your donut tutorial on Reddit and decided to give it a shot and I am... Insanely proud of my donut AND my iris. Thank you so much for making this, and all of your other tutorials. Procreate is for everyone! My favourite app, and has actually aided my pen to paper skill. I have always wanted to be able to draw & create, but have not very much natural or taught ability. Watching hours of tutorials and tinkering about on Procreate has seen me be able to make really cool digital drawings! Keep at it guys, it really is possible to become an adequate to great digital artist with this app. Apple Pencil huge advantage of course.
Imagine a professional artist that uses much harder techniques finding this tho. I’m 11 and this actually made my life easier after I got procreate for my birthday. Thank you Flo!

I gave this a go today and I’m pretty happy with it, I’ll probably give it another go without the orange as it just didn’t look right in mine. If anything this video is fantastic at getting you familiar with layers; how they work and why they’re important. I really learned a a lot from following this and would recommend this to beginners like me.
