I met your daughter at the Sky Club! I am holding a KC piece you made. She is amazing for sure and your work is awesome. Best of luck to you! Go Chargers
Thanks for the comment and for watching. My daughter is great and she loves me and giving out pieces I make. Subscribe and don't miss out of the amazing content ( just kidding), but would appreciate a sub. I would like to get to 1000 before she retires.
I am glad to see a new video from you David. You must be feeling better, as I can hear it in your voice. I recently went through a period where I didn't have the motivation make/edit videos so I know how you feel. You have really transformed your shop over the last year with all the new equipment, storage, and accessories to aid in the printing process. I thought the "Messy" middle name joke was funny. Take care and I am looking forward to the Rat Rig.
Glad to see you back at it… That printer prints a big print. Looks you have been hard at it. Another printer ?? Rat rig From the look of your space, you are packed tight . How you like them cameras you got setup ? Are then the wyze ? Take care
Steve, Glad you watched and like it. I have a weakness for new printers! I have two Rat Rigs, and they work well, the new one is supposed to be even better and will be the same size as the one that printed the Velcome sign. I have been working on moving stuff around to get space and gave my neighbor the small Bambu. The cameras are TP Link or Tapco C120 wireless. I have some Wyze, but they require a monthly subscription to watch them on a computer. The C120 can use free software for both a phone and a PC. I have the software on my main computer and can switch between a screen of all 5 and a full screen on any one. This allows me to check on all of the printers with a pretty good picture.
Another great video good sir and thank you so much for the shoutout. You are an amazing person and a great friend. Thank you so much, keep the awesome coming.
If you run your printers on 220v and phase them you would cut your amperage in half only if your power supplies are switchable. It can save you some money on your electricity bill as well.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll talk to my electrician friend that is helping me. A concern that I have is all of the other 120v needs - Raspberry Pi and my wifi equipment and cameras. Now they are all powered from common power strips.
We just finished up the wiring - 120V, ran two 20 amp circuits, we had all of the wire, breakers and GFCI on hand. I also added a whole house surge protector in the panel.
@@MrTrex62 Thanks for the update. My big printers heat up quckly to 70c for PLA and not bad to 120c for ABS. Will wait for prints to stop and start moving plugs. Thanks for your suggestions.
The Rat Rig that is running is a V-core 3.1 500mm cube. The one I'm building is a V-core 4 Hybrid 500 mm cube. I just posted an update showing where I'm at. It seems like it will be even better than the 3. Keep watching
Thank you for video.

Thanks Scott, I hope your GoPro recovers. If not he will be missed
@@woodwaker1 Turns out the screen was cracked when I pulled off the screen protector. Too far of a drop apparently. At least it still works.
@@HamiltonServices530 Well,\ probably the best you could hope for.
Glad to see you back at it…

@@woodwaker1 makes sense on hand 👌 I run a few printers on 220 because the build plate heats up quick to 110c and run other printers on 110.
