    Something beautiful of this video is that I noticed in your voice how happy make you to share the common expressions. that was lovely.

      That is very sweet of you to notice.. Thank you :)... I'm working on passive voice video now, but was working on anything video on "emotions -specifically sadness" with it being such a tough year for the world with the pandemic... I used words like "I am sad", "I am crying", ....etc and how to say them in their different forms.. Made me pause and thing.. My voice almost broke in recording it... I'll get it published after tomorrow and I hope it is well taken. THank you!

      One of these days I’ll switch to a face vs a faceless channel (like a combo). I’m not there yet :) perhaps when I’m doing this full time once it grows and hits a bigger audience vs still running a full time job, a household, and daily video recordings at midnight 😂

    Thanks a lot.
    Question: For me to say "He is KINDA tall", do I say "huwe YANI Tawil"?
    And for "He is a little tall" do I say "huwe shway Tawil"?

    • @OneDayataTimeArabic
      @OneDayataTimeArabic  3 года назад +3

      Excellent application. Unfortunately يعني can’t be used as an adjective to a noun. So “kind of tall” directly translates to “هو طويل شوي" . But you can use it this way:
      “Is he tall?” هو طويل?
      “Kinda” “يعني"
      Hope this makes sense- thank you! ❤️

    What's the most common reply to Na'eeman? الله ينعم عليك
    ?
    There was a thread on r/Jordan about mujamalaat which could be a fun topic. Common compliments and their replies.
