The Alan Parsons Project were a British rock band active between 1975 and 1990. whose core membership consisted of Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson. They were accompanied by a varying number of session musicians and some relatively consistent band members such as guitarist Ian Bairnson, arranger Andrew Powell, bassist and vocalist David Paton, drummer Stuart Elliott, and vocalists Lenny Zakatek and Chris Rainbow. Parsons was an audio engineer and producer by profession, but also a musician and a composer. A songwriter by profession, Woolfson was also a composer, a pianist, and a singer. Almost all the songs on the Project's albums are credited to "Woolfson/Parsons".

@Goofy Hi .. you are right in what you say but it all depends on where the guys want to go and how far … they have performed in a few countries now as 'the Pinoy Beatles' and are are fast becoming an internet sensation .. I've been playing covers and originals for over 45 years … nearly hit 'the big time' lol but didn't make it … I'm sure the lads are quite capable of penning original songs and I'm sure they will (they do have an album out of songs by other people) … they seem to have some great support behind them in the way of management and advice so hopefully at some point they will rise above their current position and become well known … the music industry is a cut throat business and more often than not now bands and acts are signed purely for monetary gain for those behind closed doors and not for the benefit of the performers .. we shall see what lies in the future for the boys … having said that they can make a healthy living doing what they do already …. the internet has opened the doors for worldwide exposure without the need for signing your life away with dodgy contracts and money grabbing corporate giants.

I just discovered Reo Brothers couple months ago, and found out their Filipinos. WOW!! I can’t believe my ears they play so close to the original. They are so talented. They can play The Beatle, Bee Gees, and other artist so close to their original. Bravo Reo Bothers we’re so proud of you. 🇵🇭

I just discovered the REO Bros today. My jaw dropped! I started, and couldn't stop, moving to their music making, and at times my eyes misted up. Technically amazing, they've made these songs their own, and play and sing with their souls. Totally cool! Totally beautiful! Amazing talent.
Been listening to Alllan Parsons Project since the late 70's and they are superb to listen with the Eye in Sky.......Can you read my Mind?

These guys are musically gifted but so few comment on how their sound is so great and clear to listen to despite not being in a "real" studio.

Hey Bob...my Friend...John here again from Hawai’i. I’m happy to see you do this reaction! You had pretty much the same response/reaction that I did when I first saw this awesome video performance. I just keep getting amazed at how these Brothers can replicate these songs. And yes, they keep it fresh and it brings back so much memories for me, as I think it does for you too. I commented/complimented them on this Video, and also asked if they could do a cover of “DON’T ANSWER ME” by Alan Parsons. Hopefully, they’ll do it, as that is my all time fav song from Alan Parsons. Anyway...these Brothers obviously have immense talent, but they also have “the ear” to do these covers, both with vocals and the music, if you know what I mean. You know that their last name which is OTIC means “referring to the ear” which is very fitting as they have such an ear for Music. Because none of them had any formal training in Music, I suspect they don’t read music sheets. Everything is just done ‘by ear’. And that’s what I call ‘gift’.

@@The_MusicPH Greetings again Bob! Since you are already a die hard fan of this phenomenal brothers from the Philippines. Did you know that they were all self thought musicians? No vocal coach and synthetic tuners...just real-pure talent...each brothers can play an instrument and all of them can sing, that's why they have this great synchronized voices that is really music to any one's ear. They came from a province devastated by a super typhoon and had nowhere to go...but God had better plans for them and the rest is history! In 2014 they already went on tour of USA, Australia, Japan and of course UK where they also visited Liverpool. And yes they also played at the Cavern already. You won't be surprised to see how locals & Filipino alike go crazy about their Beatles renditions. This is how they were first known as the Beatles of the Philippines. Well since you are already a follower and albeit a fan most likely then I highly suggests you check their youtube feature on their humble beginnings clip. You will even love them more after watching it and probably sympathize with them with the struggles they had before becoming known. Have a good day and keep it up! Cheers

the line 'I can read your mind' in this song is so true of the lads … being brothers they seem to have a unique connection with one another it's rather spooky in a way as I doubt whether different individuals could perform together in the same way as they do
You are right, they are some special, never miss a note vocally or with the instruments, even in their live performances from times when they were so young. That I guess is innate talent?.
They definitely have a connection with one another … it would be extremely difficult for four or five non related individuals to come together and reproduce what they do (I should know) … to get the timing, tempo, chord structure, lead/harmony vocals, authentic sounding instruments, and levels in volume around 99% accurate in EVERY song is nigh on impossible. I have posted this on the Alan Parsons page on Facebook and it's causing a stir! .. now if only Mr Parsons would take an interest in them … hehe … wow!

filipino siblings who started gaining recognition after their province was hit by typhoon yolanda (i think). but still able to perform in manila despite of financial hardship during that time.
they loved to perform THE BEATLES songs and also able to perform in the bar were the band THE BEATLES started....

These guys used to perform live during our Office Christmas party last 2012. They are Super Typhoon Yolanda ( Haiyan ) survivors from Tacloban.
