i had alan parson's project album on cassette tape in the 90's...i still have the music till now on my mp3 collection, yes reo bros always nailing their covers! they always make it sound very close to the original with their instruments and harmonies in their voices.
From what I understand, English is not their first language, although I think they're better with it now than they were when they started out. I think this actually helps them nail the sound though, as they're singing phonetically and capturing the tones of the voices as much as the words.

To sound exactly like a lead vocalist is very difficult as basically it's coming from 'them' and not an instrument ... the only person I know of who sounds anything like an original vocalist is Marc Martel who is Freddie Mercury personified! ... I've listened to this original tracks many times over and it's so damn close!
Ooooo you cut off the instrumental intro Sirius and went straight to the song. I think Sirius is the best part of this cover but that's just my opinion.
