Knowing you could get a supercharged Corolla in Japan, and knowing that TRD stuffed a 2.0L engine in an AE101 Corolla, I imagine the Singer version combining the 2 things: 2.0L and a huffer. I'd fully expect Singer to use torque tubes, equal-length halfshafts _and_ revoknuckles in their Corolla. :)
its a shame how deep dish wheels are so rare nowadays i dont get it.. it makes the look of a nice car complete anything else just looks average / civic they can give it atleast slight deep dish wheels like the Mclaren F1 LM has. and the rear lights look to much like a Ferrari

I don't remember them mentioning weight but this diablo looks very light. Like sesto elemento light 😈. I want to see it in real life.
I'd never heard of them until a few years ago. I'd see modern supercars and older muscle cars and wonder what was possible if you made a muscle car out of carbon fiber or added newer tech in a way that kept the old soul. I had no idea that there were men and women not merely wondering the same thing, but putting the highest levels of design and art and engineering behind it to make it real. I get that it's a million dollars or more sometimes. Sometimes it needs to be. I hope to ride in one a few times, but even if I don't, this is one of those things that I just believe the world is a little more beautiful when the passionate put money and time and sweat and excellence behind finding out just how beautiful and incredible a car can be when sales numbers don't need to matter at all. Truly special.

I don't know about cutting up 19 old diablos to make these. That's the only thing that irks me. Start with a clean slate. This is like taking someones artwork, erasing part of it and penning in your own. Doesn't sit right. Looks great though.
You need the vin number and original title in order to make a car without going through modern standards and crash testing that will cost more than they’d ever make selling 19 cars. Keep in mind, there’s more than 19 Diablos out there in a piss poor state of neglect currently. It’s like other restomods, people look for neglected cars that aren’t wrecked, not pristine cars that ought to be preserved 👍🏼

Before ehh.. around 1990 about all taillights looked like AutoZone generic work truck lights, either squares or circles. Exotic/Super car designers treated them like they treated side marker lights up until the last about 10, maybe 15 years when they would just mount a small circle somewhere on the side and call it a day and a big knock on this car for me that they didn't rework the taillights.

It does look like a tesla. both new models lambo have lost their way. Both ugly both look like made from their spare parts bin. They remind me of a hotwheels car that stole cues rfrom lambo or a cheap rip off in $2 dollar store. They have lost the sleek wedged low wide stance.

I’d then install a “Mr.Fusion” mounted to the Tepanyaki, and finish with a flux capacitor, centered between the seat backs. Then, maybe get the engine custom mapped to max output at 8800 rpm, and integrate some flame effects onto a wide bar addressable rgb on the tail. Cause it’s a mod after all. Fun!
