@rosaliedoane1534 first off, the only time he ever cheated was in season 6. He didn't cheat on her from seasons 1-5. And secondly, a guy cheating is not that big a deal. A guy is perfectly capable of messing around and still loving his wife.

Remember in season 4 when Tara was almost kidnapped, Jax was fighting them off and covered her when one of them pointed his gun at them. I couldnt see Jax doing that for any other woman, not even Gemma.

And the buildups are just not that good, I mean it jumps from one thing to the other & suddenly everything changed, i liked how in SOA all storylines were build up nicely and all. And now Kurt sutter fired from Mayans it's not with the same spirit anymore. Let's see if that last seasons of Mayans can be worth it.
I was/am a huge fan of SOA and Tara gave the story of Jax humanity even tho bikers are so often depicted as brain dead thugs. Brain dead bikers have their place but they're not the norm. I have the complete fancy box CD set and after this I'm taking it out and watch it all once again.
*Spoiker Alerts Incoming* Completely broke me when Gemma killed Tara. Those two always had issues with Tara, but there did seem to be some attempts to reconcile and get along on both ends, when things got legit serious between Tara and Jax, even though it was strained. They did put some effort in - mainly, I think, because they both loved Jax and they knew that their constant fighting would hurt Jax in the long run. Once Thomas, Jax and Tara's younger son (Yes, I DO realize that WENDY was the one who contributed the DNA and the uterus to bring Abel into the world, but it was TARA who stepped up and acted like a mom to Abel because Wendy couldn't entirely be trusted with him) was born, I think Tara's pregnancy and subsequent birth of a son brought them genuinely closer than they had ever been during the entire time Tara and Gemma knew each other. They really did form a real, true, close bond because of little Tommy. Sadly, alot of mistakes, lies, and partial truths entered the picture and completely ruined it forever for the 3 of them as a family. Tara wanted what was truly best for not only Jax but their sons, too. She even had Jax pretty much convinced, but stuff just kept dragging him back in. Jax made some major mistakes, Gemma and Tara made serious mistakes regarding each other, and in regards to Jax (more Gemma than anyone else, Gemma was the master manipulator, and Wayne giving Gemma false information without checking his facts first was the final straw there, that made things worse- as far worse as was humanly possible, and if he had kept his trap shut until he got the facts straight, Tara might still be alive), and all those mistakes, lies, half truths, and false / partly true and partly false information, that's what sent Gemma over the edge, made her go temporarily insane, and kill Tara in her own kitchen. Wayne and Gemma both should have fact checked with people in the know before discussing things with each other and other people before acting on anything. Tara was only trying to do the right thing for the kids and for Jax. Besides, while I know that Gemma IS Jax's mom and does have some say in his life, she does need to give him room to breathe, to live his own life, and to accept his decision to leave the club, if that's what he ultimately wanted. Tara was truly a tragic figure and easily the best thing for Jax. She was that person Jax needed in his life to keep him on the straight and narrow, correct path - just like what Donna was trying to do with Opie. Sadly, it did t work in either case. I am only glad Wendy got clean and sober, she got thr junk out of her system, because she did turn out to be a reasonably good mom. Plus, she repaid the debt she owed Tara - Tara was the mother to Abel during his younger years that Wendy wasn't able to be due to her addiction issues. Even after Wendy got clean, Tara and Jax were both really skeptical about letting Wendy around Abel. Once Tara was dead, Gemma recruited Wendy to help out with both the boys, and then when both Gemma and Jax were killed, Wendy and Nero took the boys and were raising the farm Nero bought from his uncle. Wendy raised Tommy as if he was her own, just like Tara did with Abel. All that having been said, the Jax / Tara love story was a sincerely tragic one. They may have been on really rocky terms at the end, but the love was still there. If Jax didn't love Tara as much as he did, even with the rocky period at the end, he wouldn't have reacted the way he did, seeing Tara laid out on the floor of the kitchen dead, laying in a huge pool of her own blood, and sheriff Roosevelt laid out beside her in a big pool of HIS blood. That there was the beginning Jax's end. I just KNEW things were gonna get as bad as was humanly possible, and most likely would result in more deaths than just Jax and Gemma in the end.

I think he was likely married to Wendy for about a year though they never said. But I have a feeling he was never faithful to Wendy so doubt it slowed him down much.

I don’t know if it’s the actress or the role. But she did the series no justice. She always came across as insecure, bored, in the wrong world, but her conflict wasn’t attractive. It was very hard to watch her. Katey Segal and the other woman were superior. I’m sorry.
That was kind of the point of her character. Even though she knew of that world because of her relationship with Jax, she never accepted nor approved of it. That's where the conflict came with Gemma.
Sounds like she nailed the role then, she knew she didn’t belong there, the love of her life was there tho, she was hell bent on getting them out and unfortunately lost her life because of it

Opies death changed him but Tara's death broke him. And then to find out his mom did it, there was no healing from that.
